All Tomorrows: Vanga-Vangog Rot Eater headcanons

Finally comes the Rot Eaters, Vanga-Vangog’s descendants of the Bone Crusher’s, infamously known to show affection via the throwing of poop. Inspite of reaching the medieval era of civilization, teh Bone Crusher’s would all apparently starve from the lack of dead corpse to feed from, as well as other disasters, atleast in canon.

Instead of starving to death, the Bonecrusher’s managed to learn how to ferment their food, allowing them to better survive the scarcity of dead corpses to eat from. Outside of growing leaner, little else of the Rot Eater’s evolution changed from their ancestors, and they still did the “defecate to show affection” thing, albeit diminished.

-To get through with it already, yes, they did defecate to show affection. But this was during special occasions, such as their equivalent of weddings and birth, not something they did daily or out of the blue. (Infact, it was a highly ritualized tradition.)

-And yes… children would be fed the poop of their parents to better develop gut bacteria to better process food. Speaking of, they not only ate fermented meat, but also fermented cheese, alcohol, and even bread. (Also their alcohol was extremely strong, one tiny sip from it would make you pass out quickly)

-As smell was as important as hearing and sight in their cultures, the would distinguish themselves with extremely strong, long-lasting perfumes, often smelling similar to a skunk of animal marking. Some perfume trends would involve much spicier, bitter, or even sweet smells.

-They don’t wear much clothes, (Outside of dangerous weather or cold temperatures) as they highly valued their natural bodies and wished to show them off to society, friends, and neighbors. It also would get in the way of the sweat and other glands they used to communicate. At most, they’d wear a loincloth, glasses, or a scarf.

-Their spoken and written language was a mix between words, sign, and the excretion of scents and fluids. Their television and screens also utilized a mix of sight and smell, being an in between of our own as well as the Symbiotes olfactory television.

-Inspite of these practices, they were historically a very welcoming and accepting people. They did not discriminate and, in fact, heavily encouraged the self expression of their people and other posthuman cousins. They were historically very accepting of Queer people and the disabled, not at all othering them in mainstream society.

-There was a birth condition quite common in their culture, about as common as autism or ADHD was in our own species. This condition would have children be born with the physique of their Bonecrusher ancestors. This would make them extremely heavily built, STRONG af and have an even greater sense of smell than the average Rot Eater. They were historically seen as leader-like figures or elite soldiers in their society, though currently these folk are treated as just normal Rot Eater’s. (Outside of being asked more often to do physically straining tasks by friends and family.)

-Another common birth condition was when a child was born with a deformed, often stylized beak. (A holdover from the Bonecrusher’s relatives who acted as living beak art for the Qu. They’d look similar to this post) It was about as common as the last birth condition, though had few benefits, as a heavily deformed, stylized beak would give you difficulty with eating, speaking, or even opening their mouthes. Thankfully, the Rot Eater’s culture of acceptance allowed most of these people to live long, happy lives with minimal complications, often taking pride in how different their beaks were.

-Along with the Killer Folk, Satyriac’s, and another one of Vanga’s species I will explore, they’d be the founders of the Second Empire. Compared to the stereotypes of the Killer Folk’s more serious, warlike nature, the Satyriac’s uninhibited party-loving pursuit of pleasure, or the other species more spaced-out wiseness, the Rot Eater’s were treated as the simple straight man among the quartet. Of course, stereotypes were merely stereotypes with only a small or surface level basis.

Headcannon that Barty found out Pandora was dead from Luna at Hogwarts.

When you think about it, there’s no way Barty Crouch Sr. would’ve kept Barty apprised of current events. Barty also wouldn’t have asked about her for fear of drawing attention to Dora. After all, he, Evan and Reg worked so hard to get her out and protect her.

I imagine the conversation went like this:

“A Guide to Nargles, Wrackspurts, and Gulping Plimpies? A great book, Ms. Lovegood, very informative.” He said with uncharacteristic fondness.

“It’s quite fascinating really, Professor Moody. My mother always used to hunt nargles. She used to say you needed to be able to stop infestations before the had a chance to root.”

Clone wars headcanons about Anakin and Ahsoka being siblings

When Anakin pisses Ahsoka off she’ll hunt Obi-Wan down and say something along the lines of “I’m gonna kill your son” the first time this happened it shocked Obi-Wan into silence but it didn’t take long for him to put 2 and 2 together 

Not long after Anakin starts copying Ashoka’s little comment but his are more creative so it’s something along the lines of “Imma throw your daughter out the airlock” he mostly does this because it pisses Ahsoka off when he mimics her but it’s also weirdly therapeutic 

Poor Obi-Wan has to deal with both of them ranting at him so it’s pretty common for him to hear the same story twice in one day

On a couple of rare occasions one of the two enters his room to complain just to find the other doing the same thing which usually results in a new fight because “how dare you come in here to do the same thing I’m doing” 

Those fights usually end with Obi-Wan kicking them out to handle their shit he’s usually willing to hear out both of their sides and problem solve but not when they’re fighting just to fight (which happens sometimes) 

Anakin formed this little tik that makes him laugh and confuses the general public and that tik is whenever someone close to him asks him to do something he’ll say no and do it anyway

He only really does this with Rex and Ahsoka (more so Ahsoka) he respects the rest of them too much at first the duo was confused by it but after a while they just took it as a yes and moved on with it 

It usually looked something like this “General your padawan is being stubborn please go check on her” “No” and then Rex would nod or give a small thanks and then move on 

Or “Hey skyguy can we please get ice cream when we’re done with this mission” “No” “Thanks master!!” 

The first time Obi-Wan saw this happen he was flabbergasted and called Anakin rude which made the duo take a step back because they were so used to it

Ahoksa spoke up first asking “What do you mean master?” and when Obi-Wan clarified that rejecting her so abruptly could rightfully be seen as rude the duo shot him confused looks

Anakin tries to clear it up by saying “What are you talking about I said we could get some” and when Obi-Wan again points out that he told her no Anakin responds with something that makes Obi-Wan want to tear his hair out “but she knows I’m saying yes don’t you snips” to which Ashoka agrees

Obi-Wan walked away muttering about padawans giving him gray hairs and putting him in an early grave 

Ahsoka doesn’t know when she started keeping a mental list of the most embarrassing things the boys have done but it becomes a great source of entertainment for her 

Sometimes when Anakin is getting a little too cocky with Padme she’ll say “Hey master remember when you” and the next thing she knows she’s there’s a hand over her mouth and she’s being dragged away

Sometimes when Rex is taunting her a little too much about how “you almost beat me that time squirt maybe the next time or the next or the next” she’ll respond with “do you think the boys wanna know about that time we were walking to the speeder and” and he shuts up fast as hell 

She’s never had to do this to Obi-Wan but Anakin asked her if she remembers any of his embarrassing moments and all she does is nod the 212 swears they’ve never seen their general go as pale as he did that day 

On the rare occasions that Anakin or Ahsoka want to watch something different than the other it usually results in a lot of bickering a lot of “I’m your master and you will listen to me” and “that doesn’t apply here” thrown out 

But Anakin’s favorite thing to throw in Ahsoka’s face is “I was here first” even if he wasn’t and when she points that out he’ll respond with “I meant alive first”

Sometimes Ahsoka will respond with “I was here first” which results in two paths 1. Being her reminding him she was at the temple before him or 2. Her saying she was born first 

The first response usually ends her in a headlock and the second gets a response that people can hear from outside the temple and that’s Anakin yelling at the top of his lungs “That makes no kriffing sense!!” 

This is me projecting a little bit but I think Ahsoka swears like a damn sailor it’s bad enough to catch Anakin off guard and he’s barely better than her bro can and will curse in multiple languages but force forbid Ahsoka says kriff

She’s startled a few “language!” Or “hey”s out of him which shocks both of them more than it should Ahsoka is more startled by the hypocrisy and Anakin is startled because “Oh kriff I’m turning into Obi-Wan”

The funny thing is a lot of people including Obi-Wan blame Anakin for her cussing problem and a few masters even suggest some less than-up-to-code options to fix the problem which causes Anakin to become a little protective 

On nights when Anakin and Ahsoka can’t sleep and sitting in the temple feels like a death sentence they silently go to Anakin’s favorite speeder and just drive 

Sometimes they have somewhere specific in mind but most of the time they drive with no destination in mind sometimes they pick up Rex or Obi-Wan but most nights it’s just the two of them

Sometimes they talk about life and sometimes they sit in complete silence just enjoying each other's company and the shitty music on the radio

The only consistent thing about these trips is they don't go back until both of their eyes are drooping and Anakin can’t safely drive anymore

They never talk about these little excursions unless they’re already on one honestly they don’t even have to ask most times they’ll just walk into each other's rooms share a look and then walk out 

And there's something weirdly comforting about that routine

Tessa Continuation AU

Fandom: Murder Drones Age Rating: Adult Rated (The amount of gore and body-horror in it I'm going to have it this rating even if there's nothing sexually explicit) Themes: Sci-Fi, Comedy, Mystery, Adventure, Horror, Body-Horror, Eldritch Horror, Eldritch, Tragedy, Genocide, Blood, Death, Gore, Intense Gore, Torture, Irredeemable Character, No Fantasy or Magic (Sci-Fi/Eldritch/Mutant AUs are fine) Triggers: I won't actively pursue things like mouth or eye gore without asking. There are themes of sapiovore in the consumption of other beings, robot's cores or 'cannibalism' if that bothers you. Portrayal: Fanon Continuation. This character is the continuation of the Series Finale as the heavy spoiler character known as 'Cyn' but who is actually Tessa. How could that be you ask? Well, that's part of the mystery to pursue with Tessa, that they're back and seem... different using a similar look to Cyn or even off to how they originally were before being assimilated by the Absolute Solver, coupled with no open wounds and of the like. I assure you, this is all using canon, unknown/unconfirmed fates and the most reasonable, realistic way I could think of in continuing Tessa going forward. Based on the song 'Bite Me' being able to be sung from Tessa's perspective. The fact Cyn took so long to thread the needle to eat anyone's core or even outright sparing N and Uzi several times despite the game of Cat and Mouse. Or the fact that J let N's core fly right past her that Cyn 'threw' to them practically. Then along with the 'let me in' scene with N had Tessa's voice in an underlay to Cyn's. As we don't see the fate of Tessa other than her appearing with an adult VA for Cyn to impersonate and new body-type that implies a significant amount of time passed and they survived the Gala- having who knows what happen to them during that time. It could easily be a 'I have no mouth and I must scream' scenario with Tessa's 'hardware' being removed and assimilated that way from mutating into something not apart of Cyn directly because they're an organic, which later mutates into a new version of themselves after being a biological supercomputer for the Solver. This of course could just all be 'narrative-sake' by Liam, but the path is there to pursue placed by canon, so here we are. I can give a full synopsis privately, as it's fairly possible if they wanted to bring Tessa back? Summary: -Previously heavy mystery and still is, but overall this was my previous 'Cyn' before introducing my actual Cyn continuation. In reality, before I knew how small the MD fandom was? This was actually a Tessa AU. -Mutates and evolves to compliment your character's fighting style or to fight them. -Is a supervillain. -Will not be redeemed, but in a way you don't expect that isn't overtly depressing for a tragic character, but not stupidly hopeless either. They more or less get a 'happy ending' whether or not it's deserved in an imperfect, broken universe. -If you are not satisfied with what's linked or unsure of my direction? Spoiler bios doc below and I can even give my rough synopsis if I were to write a fanfiction S2 for this. -Using a fair amount of canon to build off since Tessa is implied to be an adult but died off screen by the time the series rolls out. -Ship Safe Post-Cyn Defeat.
