I know that song is from EotE but the title spoke to me, and really fit the vibe of what I wanted to convey here-

I realized Esker was the only OWV founding member i hadn't drawn yet, and it felt deeply wrong to even envision drawing them alone. So here's my Esker centric piece, in which theyre very much not at the center, because to me the message of their character is that community is the most important part of our existences. Even away from home, they kept an eye out for their friends, monitoring them through their signalscope making sure everyone was ok. And at the end of times, I really hope Esker saw their friends around a campfire, because it was their most cherished wish to see them all happy together again.

(Im not being very eloquent here but I'm conked out by the current heatwave happening where i live) Anyway, closeups on the friends

Blizzard arent feeding us enough venture content or skins, so i decided to do a concept for a skin, current a W.I.P with just base colour and lineart, but i should be finishing it soon, Enjoy! 😊 (ignore the bad quality, images didn't wanna save to my phone)

thoughts under the cut where i make it extremely obvious i am sa2 biased:

the knuckles venture skin that exists in my mind gets lines for when they use their abilities in addition to respawn lines, mostly based on knuckles' lines in sa2. i.e. the "ora ora ora" line when knuckles digs can be used for venture's burrow, they have to go "rats!" at some point (maybe when getting hacked by sombra lol). at respawn idk they can say some shit about wondering if the master emerald is okay lol? maybe a reference to death chamber bc it's a pyramid and u know how venture likes that shit. uhh maybe their special voice line can be like, the master emerald prayer? "the servers are the seven chaos.." u know how it is. i dunno.

rouge mauga has to get the "long time no see, treasure hunter. did you find my emerald?" line as a character interaction w/ knuckles venture. i don't play mauga really so i have no ideas on any other lines he could get LMFAO. sorry my venture bias is showing. maybe his special voice line could be the line where rouge goes "all the world's gems are mine to keep!" that's iconic. love you rouge.

Posting a lil somthing about these two because i personally think a slow burn ship between them would fit really well and uve mentioned it on different platforms and people seem to really like the idea.

Their ship name (Omnicology) comes from, well omnic and archaeology.

As a beginning kind of intro to this i will explain one of the reasons i feel like they would work well as a ship but i will post more once ive completed all my art and everything for them.

I feel like venture and ramattra would have a good slow burn ship dynamic because i thought about how venture is considered an expert in omnic history and wants to know more about their culture and ramattra who is reluctant to form any kind of bond with humans would slowly soften up to venture as he realises that venture understands what ramattra was trying to do within the omnic uprising. He may feel like hes finally being understood and by a human of all things, i think that they would slowly become closer with venture showing ramattra small trinkets and artifacts from history while ramattra is able to have someone by his side who he can finally trust!

Anyway hopefully people wanna see more about this cause im gonna be posting more!
