It was paradise. So much peace and quiet in the Garden of Eden, the animals got along together, the place was quiet, being there was a dream. The perfect place where he would raise his children and live happily with his wife.

All of that was thrown away once the incident happened. Sin. What a great sin these humans had committed by disobeying God and eating the forbidden fruit, that was what the gods thought as they judged them in every possible way. But humans couldn't be as bad as they thought, right?

Was man evil by nature or was there something else that corrupted him? What exactly made him that way? Maybe the saying "you never finish knowing a person" was true, maybe when you really think you know them the shell breaks and another layer of shell is revealed and you realize that you haven't discovered even half of it.

Their punishment was banishment, no more paradise, the earth would be the new home in which they would live. It didn't look so bad when they arrived, it had lots of plants, big trees, good vegetation, rivers, streams and much more. The land didn't seem to be so bad, it looked nice.

It was a beautiful day with family when Adam saw you. Your face looked lost and confused as you looked in all directions as if you were looking for something or someone, you were wearing a light beige dress, it seemed like it was made of a very thin and light fabric, although it served its purpose anyway, which was to cover you, your hair was loose and somewhat disheveled. You were so different from them, but at the same time so similar. So perfect.

It didn't take long for Adam to get up and walk towards you, you looked so helpless that it made his heart shrink, at least that's what he wanted to make himself believe, that pulsation and feeling in his chest of wanting to have you after seeing you had to be that, simple protection.

You don't see the way Adam looks at you when he offers you to join them, you don't see the way his eyes shine when he hears your acceptance without hesitation or thought of refusal, you don't see the way he starts to watch you when you're around his children or the way he looks at them when they touch you or smile, you don't see the manipulation in his words when he persuades you to leave your dress and wear leaves like them.

Now that you were with the family you had to go with them anywhere, you would help when they had to catch some fish from the stream for dinner, you would help gather fruits and vegetables, you would help build their home. That didn't seem to bother you, you were glad they had accepted you, of course, it was better than wandering the earth alone.

Should you be worried when he seemed to distance himself from his family whenever he could? Should you be worried when he said extremely disturbing things when you were alone? Should you be worried about his constant stares and inappropriate touches when his wife wasn't around?

For a moment you think about running away, but you're scared, what's beyond? Adam sees this, he sees that doubt in you and takes advantage of the situation, with cold words he lets loose, indirect threats: if you left and separated from the family you could never come back, they wouldn't accept you back because you left them. He plays on your fear by telling you how dark the land could be, the dangerous wild animals and that any other person you met wouldn't be as friendly as they were to you. He knew how to manipulate you, that's why he seems satisfied when he has you at the tip of his finger.

Adam is not someone who is violent, he would consider himself more peaceful, however, he seems the opposite when he gets angry at anyone in the family who interfered when you two were together, when his children don't seem to have control when they're around you, that makes Adam feel enraged. The irritability on his face and his expressions make his children quickly back away in fear and get away from you.

When you do something Adam doesn't like it shows on his face, you don't want to try to escape or get away from him, he will stop talking to you and giving you food, sometimes even when it's time to sleep he pushes you aside and forces you to sleep alone in another place with the lowest temperatures without having anything to cover yourself and sleep practically naked.

Don't try to resist him, you shouldn't feel like that when he wants to take you, your body was now his, his worship, so you better keep your legs open for him and let him use you.

While he's lying under a tree eating an apple, he'll want you to suck his cock, Adam doesn't care if there's anyone watching or not, the body was a gift from God, why should he hide it or feel ashamed? He has no shame nor does he feel guilty, he thinks it's something completely normal and you should believe it too.

Taking it so well under the starry sky, on hot days when they bathed in the river, and, oh, it couldn’t feel better when one moment you’re with their children in the forest picking berries and the next second Adam fucks you right there with his kids in front of you.

His family doesn’t question it, Adam was smart enough to convince them from the start that everything he did was completely normal, and they believe it, because why wouldn’t they? He’s their father/husband, the most fair and loving man ever, he only cares about you as he does everyone there, he’s a great man.

His family contributes in part by taking Adam’s side any time you refuse something or question something, which makes everything easier for him and you give in easier.

“Why don’t you want to stay with us? You want to leave us, we wouldn’t do that to you” Abel cries to you exaggeratedly when you start to rethink the idea of leaving. “Why don’t you want to do what our father says? You should listen to him and obey him, it’s the least you can do” Cain looks at you suspiciously when you refuse another request from him. “Why don’t you want him to touch you? He’s our husband, that’s fine” Eve looks at you with false pain and pleading when you refuse to be intimate with Adam.

Many have heard of the story of the first humans, gods or mortals, they have heard it, but no one has ever known about you, you were like a ghost. There was no information about you, not in books, not in myths, not in anything. It was as if you had never existed. But you would always know the truth, something you carried with you until the end of your days. Because even the sweetest human being has their heart rotten inside.

Adam

• I think that Adam's obsession with his daughter's safety would be affected if she had had a particularly complicated birth, after all, it was his third baby, it was supposed to be something easy after Abel and Cain, but that didn't stop the reader's life from being in danger multiple times.

• When the reader was finally born, she was small and fragile, she was born prematurely, and she needed constant care, something that her family was more than willing to provide.

• Adam is obviously the most overprotective with his first daughter, in general the world outside of Eden is very dangerous, he has to take care of all the members of his family. Obviously including the new acquisition.

• Since the reader was born, Adam had a certain favoritism, precisely because the little girl had a great resemblance to Eve, her eyes, her hair, her laugh, which also leads him to be more indulgent with her.

• Adam is against the idea of any of his children feeling left out, so he makes sure that Cain and Abel interact with Reader. Very carefully, though, after all, their sister is VERY fragile, get it?

• He enjoys the stage where Reader is a baby, being able to hold her, play with her, make her laugh with funny faces, in general he enjoys the time when Reader is a pure and innocent being, not knowing the cruelty of the outside world.

• Adam, as I said, is very overprotective of his daughter, more so as she grows and begins to learn things, like walking, how to talk, what she can and cannot eat, etc.

• Adam is very patient with his children, especially when reader starts some kind of rebellious phase, he understands it, we all have a moment like that (after all, it's thanks to this that they were born), however, the primordial man will not let his daughter put herself in danger.

• For example, he will not let her go somewhere where the gods are. This may be the most rational of all, considering his past with them and the role they played in banishing Eve. That is something reader can understand and respect.

• What she cannot respect is that Adam even restricts her interactions with other humans! even scaring them so they don't talk to her! that is just unfair!

• Although we agree that talking to Adam about it is like talking to a wall, it is impossible to move. He believes that everyone is a potential enemy, that everyone can harm his family, especially his little girl.

• Adam is one of those Yandere parents who thinks their kids can do absolutely nothing wrong, no matter if the evidence is right in front of them (whether they try to run away, tell them they hate them or insult them, be a bad person, etc.). Nope, his babies are ANGELS.

• And even more importantly, he's the kind of Yandere parent you can never get rid of, no matter if you try to be more independent once you're in Valhalla, you'll never be too far from Daddy Adam. Good luck.

Eve

• Eve was the most affected by Reader's birth obviously, not only physically but mentally.

• She had never had a birth as painful as Reader's, not even with Cain, which definitely made her so exhausted when Reader was actually born, that she couldn't even hold her.

• A part of Eve was so scared that Reader would die, because the pain was so bad (and she didn't want to imagine if Reader was going through the same pain), praying to any god that would hear her not to let her baby die, being so relieved when she heard her cry for the first time.

• It was only a few days later that Eve was recovered enough to hold her daughter, it was the first time she saw a girl (she had already seen other babies with Abel and Cain, but this was totally different), and she was the most precious creature in the world.

• Eve is much less invasive, she is overprotective, yes, but she wants her daughter to grow up, she wants her beautiful offspring to become a full-fledged wild flower.

• For this reason, she is Reader's greatest ally when it comes to calming Adán's insecurities, she is the only person he will really listen to, who will pay attention to over his children. She can either distract him long enough for Reader and her siblings to sneak away or she can directly convince him to tone down some of his tendencies.

• That doesn't mean that Eve herself doesn't have unhealthy tendencies regarding her children, she just knows how to control herself better.

• She collects absolutely everything that children leave behind when they grow up, be it toys, clothes, probably even teeth when they start to fall out.

• She is also very dramatic when Reader gets sick, constantly bringing her homemade food and medicine, crying at her bedside, begging her not to die, to the point where Cain and Abel have to drag her out of the room.

• Eve is also somewhat possessive, she likes to spend a lot of time with Reader, and will automatically be bitter for the rest of the day if anyone (other than Adam or her sons) decides to interrupt said “quality” time between mother and daughter.

• She excuses this as “since Adam and the boys have the right to have boy time, they also deserve girl time” but it is just an excuse to have more time with her daughter just for herself.

• She loves to talk to Reader like she is a baby, generally spoiling her a lot, but she doesn’t realize much of the time that this can make her feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. Uncomfortable? From her family? Who put those ideas in her head?!?

• She is also very quick to make assumptions. As you can see…

• Fortunately, she is much more naive than Adam, so if you play your cards right, she can be your greatest ally when it comes to having your alone time or getting away from this crazy family for a while.

Caín and Abel

• THESE TWO ARE THE EPITOME OF NOSY BROTHERS.

• But really.

• I feel like initially, they were both very excited to have a younger sister, having been just the two of them for quite a while, a new companion wouldn't hurt at all.

• However, when the time came and reader wasn't born, causing Eve great pain, the brothers started to get very scared. This was something new, and something they didn't like, their mother was suffering a lot. When was this going to stop?

• When reader was finally born and Eve was laid up for several days, both Abel and Cain acted like they were standing around eggshells, thinking that the baby would put them through great pain like it did with their mother.

• Fortunately, they were scolded by Adam for even thinking that, and he made Cain hold his sister for the first time (even if he was shaky).

• And you can imagine his surprise when he felt absolutely no pain, just something heavy and warm on his chest. Looking at him curiously.

• After verifying that the baby did not cause them any pain, it became a tug of war to see who was still holding her between the two, but at least the issue of rejection towards reader was resolved, perhaps too well.

• Cain and Abel tried in many ways to become reader's favorites while she was growing up, whether it was playing with her, bringing her nice things, but above all protecting her.

• They act very similar to their father in many ways, they are overprotective to an unhealthy degree, wanting to prevent reader from doing this or that, preventing her from stepping in puddles of mud or water because “she could get sick”, going so far as to accuse her to Adam if she did something “dangerous”.

• This created a love-hate relationship between the brothers and sister, on one hand Cain and Abel would do anything for her (except give her absolute freedom. Who needs that with a family that does everything for you? Silly), while the reader didn't see them any differently than an inmate sees his prison guard.

• Fortunately, just as they resemble their father, they also inherited several aspects from their mother.

• Both are very needy of the reader's approval, as I said before, they would do ANYTHING for her.

• If the reader uses words well, she can make them, involuntarily, help her escape more than once (or simply accept certain conditions like her having friends/partners), either by asking them for things or some objects, in exchange for being her “favorite brother”

• And they fall right into her trap. But that doesn't matter, even if they eventually realize that their sister is only using them for her own benefit, to do things that their father doesn't approve of and that distress their mother, they don't care.

• All that matters is that she is happy because of them, even if they receive some punishment, they are okay with it, they would endure it all over again, all to see their sister happy.

• If that's how things are, they will play along. For her.

- maybe they were out adventuring until they heard baby noises, little crying. I have a feeling that Cain and his big brother instincts told him to go check it out. And boom, they find you, wrapped around very thin cloth, shivering.

- Cain told Abel to watch you so that he could get Adam. And off he went running. Abel really pitied you despite his age, what a poor thing you were. you were very small and in need of protection.

- once they got Adam to see you, he picked you up gently, cradling you around his arms while instructing the boys to get some leaves and tree branches, to make you a nest.

Adem is the kind of father you can do make-up with and gossip with. Cain and Abel are often the targets of your evil plans, and then you trick them into not telling Eve.

So Brunhilde was considering Adam to be one of her champions but she had to think. While he was powerful there were others from his time that have unique gifts like him. And there is one whose ability puts them just ahead for what she has in mind. A skill given to him as a punishment for being the first to kill another human. Cain was cursed with experiencing the deaths of all those murdered and to know the techniques of all killers. And that knowledge is what will be the defining factor in his fight.

So how does the fight go against Zeus and what is his Volundr?

-Adam was glaring hard, standing in the stands next to Eve who was trying to hold her tears in, worried for her son.

-When Brunnhilde was gathering fighters for humanity to battle against the gods in Ragnarok, she originally approached Adam to fight, but then changed her mind, claiming Cain would be better.

-Adam had faith in his son to fight, being a strong warrior, but no child would ever want to see their child fighting in a fight that could very easily cost him his life; Adam watched what happened to Lu Bu and his army, he didn’t want to lose his son in a similar manner.

-Abel was also worried, scared for his brother, trying to be strong for their mother, but Adam could see the unshed tears in his younger son’s eyes.

-Cain was a unique opponent to face off against, despite not being a warrior himself, as he was blessed, or cursed, debating on who was looking at it.

-Being the first human to kill another is a title that he didn’t want, but it was one that he earned with his jealousy and his anger, and with it came to knowledge of others who killed.

-Every person who killed another, Cain gained their knowledge, how they did it, seeing how they killed someone else, and with it, came unending madness- seeing so much death, so much suffering and his mental health suffered for thousands of years, even after he died so long ago.

-In Valhalla, Cain kept a level head, not wanting to ever cause another harm, never wanting to kill again, he devoted his time in the afterlife in helping others, anything he could in hopes that his curse would finally leave him.

-Cain learned of a possible chance, an act of mercy, if he was to win his match against Zeus of all gods, then they would relieve him of his curse, but at the cost of him having to kill one more person.

-Cain, much like his parents, disliked the gods for their cruelty to both Adam and Eve, especially Zeus, but he was hesitant to take another life.

-It was Adam who spoke to his son, one-on-one, after Brunnhilde asked Cain to fight, who told his son that sometimes one would have to do things they wouldn’t like, but to protect others, to protect humanity, sometimes sacrifices had to be made.

-Cain was nervous walking out, but a glare in his eyes, seeing Zeus acting so cocky, “Oh-ho! The son of the first and the first to kill another human!” Cain swallowed his fear, using his Volundr, making just a simple sword, and got into striking position.

-Many were jeering at Cain, calling him a fool for fighting, as he was a farmer, not a shepherd, and anyone in Valhalla knew him as a kind and gentle person, the farthest thing from a fighter.

-Cain inhaled deeply before he began going over his knowledge of how to kill another with a bladed weapon, including moves to hit in blind spots and where to strike first.

-Jaws were soon dropped all over the stadium, including his family as he had easily taken out Zeus, taking out his Achilles tendons first, making it impossible to move without collapsing.

-Cain clenched his teeth tightly together, easily getting behind Zeus before slitting his throat, ending him quickly.

-Everyone was stunned, seeing Zeus bleeding out and fading away while Cain dropped his weapon, looking sick to his stomach, collapsing to his own knees and vomited violently, tears overflowing as he clutched at his head, in complete anguish over what he did.

-Cain grabbed his weapon, still in the form of the short sword and went to stab himself, holding it out, aiming for his neck, before his partner, Reginleif took back her form while Eve screamed out her son’s name.

-Cain broke down in harsh sobs, allowing Reginleif to hug him, “I don’t want this pain anymore! I just want peace!” Adam, Eve, and Abel all ran to the stadium as well, along with Brunnhilde, as the crowds murmured quietly, seeing the anguish Cain was in, seeing what killing another had done to him.

-Some wanted to call him weak and pathetic, but there was something in his tears, his pain, that kept them silent as he cried into his father’s arms, “I don’t want to do this anymore!”

-Adam felt his own tears welling, he wanted nothing more than to take his son’s pain away from him, he wanted to help him, Adam felt so helpless at the moment.

-Despite winning the second round of Ragnarok, humanity didn’t feel like they won anything, realizing what Cain has had to deal with, seeing the murders of others since his own crime, being forced to live the pain and suffering of others.

-The gods felt similarly, seeing a child, in their eyes, suffering so much. Had they done more, had they been the gods they claim to be, would there be less pain and suffering? Would there be less murder and death? Could they have done more?

Family of Adam X Fem! Reader orphan headcanons.

cw: trauma, mistreatment, abuse.

Summary: Adam's family meets you, a little orphan girl, and decides to adopt you.

🏹 a/n: I was inspired by Penny from The Rescuers for the reader, I think she was adorable and that movie had a big impact on my childhood. Besides that, the people at the orphanage were very bad, but with Adam's family I think it was a very nice story where you can have a united family full of love. For anyone who needs it ♡

The family was enjoying a nice family picnic, normally they went out a lot for walks, picnics or anything where the family could be together or just connect. It was a little surprise, what a little surprise, to see you walking with your gaze so lost and your eyes so discouraging. You looked so helpless, so scared, only with a teddy bear in your arms and nothing else, that the family, seeing you, wondered what a little girl like you was doing there alone. Surely you weren't older than six, but still, where were your parents?

Adam was the one who approached you, gently crouching down to your level once you stopped when you saw him. Kindly asking your name and then introducing himself, telling you that his family was a few steps ahead, asking if you wanted to go with him once you didn't seem to answer his question of where your parents were, but Adam decided not to insist. Hoping that you would go with him rather than leave you alone and adrift. As you approach the others they all smile at you kindly, encouraging you to join without fear, though you just gave them shy glances. Adam introduced each one so you knew their names and their role in the family, so you decided to introduce yourself with your name.

Eve couldn't be more than delighted with you, you were so adorable, flattering you every moment for your beautiful name or just for being you, while Abel joins in giving you a sweet smile asking you about your teddy bear and how lovely it was, Cain, though a little more reserved in his own way, kindly offers you some fruit or sandwich from the basket, while Adam watches you intrigued wanting to know more about you. As you briefly explain that you had run away from the orphanage you lived in due to the mistreatment the faces of the whole family become a little more understanding and a little sadder, even after you told them that your parents had left you at the door of the orphanage when you were a baby and that the only thing you had from them or that they had left you was your teddy bear, it only made everyone feel great compassion and sadness for you. So small, so full of life, but you had been through so much.

Not wanting to push you further, Adam doesn't ask another question about it seeing that it was starting to have a certain effect on you when talking about it so instead he offers you to stay there with them and enjoy the nice day and you of course accept, after having walked for a long time, hungry and thirsty you gladly accept the delicious sandwiches prepared by Eve and the fresh apple juice. Then, when you feel that you are comfortable enough, the family begins to pack up to go back home. Quickly, you stand up and lean against a tree thinking about where you would go now, the family had already been very hospitable to you, but now they had to leave and you had to find a place to sleep. Adam watches your concern and the way you hug your teddy bear as if you were looking for comfort in it, not being able to help but feel a pang in his chest. He couldn't leave you alone.

Your little eyes light up in the most beautiful way anyone has ever seen upon hearing Adam's words, would they really adopt you? After so much time and seeing so many children leave with their new families and you simply watching everything from your window hoping that one day a family would really love you enough to choose you, had they really done it? Your lips curve upwards in a big smile as you run towards Adam and Eve hugging their legs, as high as you could go, with gratitude and happiness. The parents couldn't help but look at each other, more than agreeing with the decision, each one taking your hand to start walking with you to your new home, while your now siblings followed them with joy on their faces.

The house was very homely; upon entering you could notice the familiar and welcoming atmosphere, with a beautiful garden outside and inside with some plants preserving the pleasant decoration. Eve shows you every corner of the house until you reach the room she shared with Adam, Cain and Abel's two rooms and then showing you a room they used to store things they no longer used, but from that moment on it would be yours. Your own room. You couldn't help but look with excitement and dreamy eyes, even though the room was simple, having only a small bed and a nightstand in addition to the stored things that reduced the space, you couldn't be more than happy. Your own room was something you had never had, you used to share the room with many other children and everything was everyone's, but this seemed to be something just for you, your own space.

At night, after dinner and having moved most of the things out of the room to make more space and make it more pleasant for you, Eve lovingly tucks you in and says goodbye to you just like Adam, Cain and Abel do, wishing you good night. That's when it all begins. Adam and Eve were sleeping peacefully until Adam wakes up from sobs, careful not to wake Eve, he comes out of his room and notices this coming from your room. Carefully opening the door he sees you wrapped up in the blankets and your teddy bear as you sob and mumble things that Adam can't understand due to your crying, soon approaching you to call you carefully and find out what was happening to you. After explaining to him that you couldn't sleep because of nightmares and remembering the days at the orphanage, telling him that you didn't want to sleep alone, he can't help but nod understandingly taking you in his arms carefully as he carries you to his room with a sleepy but awake Eve. They both snuggle up to you after leaving you in the middle of them, whispering some encouraging and loving words. You shouldn't be afraid with them there and so you were, as you had a nice sleep for the rest of the night.

But the second night was worse and they both woke up hearing your screams, entering your room quickly as the two brothers got up too, watching you crying with your body covered up to the top with your blankets, to which Eve takes care of calming you down. Once you do, Eve takes you in her motherly arms and tucks you back into her bed with words full of love; at the same time Cain offers you a glass of warm milk to calm you down, and Abel sits on the edge of the bed giving you your teddy bear so you could sleep with it. Without rushing or anger, it was just the whole family in a gentle and kind way wanting to make you feel better, not even a hint of anger for breaking into their sleep or bothering them. It was nice. It felt good. Although the following nights in which you continued sleeping next to Adam and Eve, they were still watching out for the same thing not to happen to you again, not wanting to let their guard down, they made sure that all the time you felt loved and wanted by them, your family. Although you still didn't call them dad or mom and surely the healing process would take time, they would wait as long as necessary until the time came when you could be a happy little girl.

The following days were pleasant, you seemed to be doing very well, to which Cain and Abel took you with them to the river to teach you how to catch fish or to collect fruit from time to time, the brothers fighting in a silly way making you laugh, at home Eve prepared the most delicious desserts for you and showered you with a maternal love so sweet that you had never felt before and Adam couldn't help but smile at seeing you in a beautiful pink dress that Eve had made especially for you, with a flower crown while your soft eyes followed on the screen the princesses of the bright stories dancing their motivational songs. You were his bright little princess.

One day at lunch, after seeing Eve picking up the plates with Abel, you wanted to help too, but accidentally your short legs miscalculated when getting off the chair which made you trip and fall to the ground with the plate shattered on the floor. Not caring that the glass hurt you, you nervously began to pick up each piece from the floor, with shaking hands and a pale face. Adam quickly went to you like the rest of the family with concern, but when you got closer you simply screamed and began to scream and sob begging not to be punished like in the orphanage. The family couldn't help but feel so bad for you. Eve's eyes couldn't help but tear up as did Abel, Cain seemed to have a sadder and more self-conscious face and Adam seemed shocked. The damage they had done to you was too much. Even though Adam tried to speak to you very carefully, telling you that you weren't in trouble, when you saw him approaching you again moved away in fear and hid your face so that you could protect yourself.

Understanding the seriousness of the situation, Adam decided to sit at a moderate distance while he spoke softly explaining to you that you weren't in trouble, that it was a simple accident. Eve does the same sitting next to Adam, with loving words explaining to you that no one there would hurt you. A while after you calmed down, your sobs subside and you look up again with red and dazed eyes. Abel, with a kind and compassionate smile, shows you your teddy bear while he approaches very carefully, not close enough to be too close and inhibit you while he hands it to you; this makes you calm down a little more.

“My dear, your hands are hurt, if you allow me and only if you let me get close to you, I can heal them.” Eve speaks softly as she sees the dried blood on your small hands. We all love you, our bright little princess.” Eve’s hands gently run through your head, combing your hair until you are finally calm.

As time goes by, the family continues to be just as loving as they were from the beginning, helping you overcome your bad thoughts and pains from days gone by, starting to clean everything that hurt in your heart. Even after your first year there, your seventh birthday, you had never felt more loved and appreciated. With a big cake prepared by Eve and a beautiful decoration that Cain and Abel had made, and Adam who had surprised you by taking you to your room, but now renovated, more spacious, the walls a beautiful white and pink color, the amount of toys on your desk and the music box that he had given you especially for you when you needed that peace.

You gave them the best gift on your birthday after calling them mom and dad for the first time. They were so excited; Eve wiped away her tears as she hugged you lovingly, and Adam caressed your hair with love. At the same time, you also called Cain and Abel brothers, making Cain's grumpy face become happier than usual as he carried you on his back and Abel smile with the greatest happiness and pride upon hearing you call him brother.

• Adán siempre está muy pocos pasos detrás de su hija, solo para asegurar que esté tomando un “enfoque seguro”, y no hay forma de escapar o escabullirse, no con el reflejo divino.

• Adán es muy paciente con sus hijos, especialmente cuando lectora empieza algún tipo de fase rebelde, él lo entiende, todos tenemos un momento así (después de todo, gracias a eso fue que ellos nacieron), sin embargo, el hombre primordial no dejara que su hija se ponga en peligro.

Eva

• Eva fue la más afectada por el nacimiento de lectora obviamente, no solo físicamente pero mentalmente.

• Ella nunca había tenido un parto tan doloroso como el de lectora, ni siquiera con Caín, lo que definitivamente hizo que estuviera tan agotada cuando realmente nació lectora, que ni siquiera la pudo cargar.

• Una parte de Eva estaba tan asustada de que lectora muriera, porque el dolor era tan fuerte (y no quería imaginarse si lectora estaba pasando por el mismo dolor), rezando a cualquier dios que la oyera que no dejara que su bebe muriera, estando tan aliviada cuando la escucho llorar por primera vez.

• Fue recién unos días más tarde que Eva estaba lo suficientemente recuperada como para sostener a su hija, era la primera vez que veía a una niña (ya había visto otros bebes con Abel y Caín, pero esto era totalmente diferente), y era la criatura más preciosa del mundo.

• Eva es mucho menos invasiva, es sobreprotectora, sí, pero quiere que su hija crezca, quiere que su hermoso retoño se convierta en una flor salvaje hecha y derecha.

• Por lo mismo, es la mayor aliada de lectora a la hora de apaciguar las inseguridades de Adán, es la única persona que el realmente escuchará, que hará caso por encima de sus hijos. Ella puede o distraerlo el tiempo suficiente para que lectora y sus hermanos se escabullan o puede directamente convencerlo de bajarle una rayita a algunas de sus tendencias.

• Eso no quiere decir que Eva en sí misma no tenga tendencias poco sanas con respecto a sus hijos, solo sabe controlarse mejor.

• Ella colecciona absolutamente todo lo que los niños dejan atrás cuando crecen, ya sean juguetes, ropa, probablemente incluso los dientes cuando se les empiezan a caer.

• También es muy dramática cuando lectora se enferma, trayéndole comida y medicina casera sin parar, llorando al lado de su cama, rogándole que no muera, al punto en el que Caín y Abel tienen que sacarla a rastras del cuarto.

• También Eva es un tanto posesiva, le gusta pasar mucho tiempo con lectora, y estará automáticamente amargada el resto del día si alguien (que no sea Adán o sus hijos) decide interrumpir dicho tiempo de “calidad” entre madre e hija.

• Ella excusa esto como que “como Adán y los chicos tienen derecho a tener momentos de chicos, ellas también merecen tardes de chicas” pero es solo una excusa para tener más tiempo con su hija solo para ella.

• Le encanta hablarle a lectora como si fuera una beba, en general mimándola mucho, pero no se da cuenta gran parte del tiempo que esto puede hacerla sentir avergonzada o incomoda ¿incomoda? ¿de su familia? ¿quién le metió esas ideas en la cabeza?

• También es muy rápida en hacer suposiciones. Como puedes darte cuenta…

• Afortunadamente, ella es mucho más ingenua que Adán, por lo que, si manejas bien tus cartas, ella puede ser tu mayor aliado cuando se trata de tener tu tiempo a solas o escaparte un rato de esta loca familia.

Abel y Cain

• ESTOS DOS SON EL EPITOME DE HERMANOS METICHES.

• Pero de verdad.

• Siento que inicialmente, ambos estaban muy emocionados por tener una hermana menor, habiendo sido solo ellos por un buen tiempo, un nuevo acompañante no vendría nada mal.

• Sin embargo, cuando llego el momento y lectora no nacía, causándole un gran dolor a Eva, los hermanos se empezaron a asustar mucho. Esto era algo nuevo, y algo que no les gustaba, su madre estaba sufriendo mucho ¿Cuándo iba a parar esto?

• Cuando lectora finalmente nació y Eva estuvo en reposo por varios días, tanto Abel como Caín actuaban como si estuvieran alrededor de cascaras de huevo, pensando que la beba les haría pasar por un gran dolor como hizo con su madre.

• Tras verificar que la beba no les causaba dolor alguno, se volvió un tira y afloja ver quien la seguía agarrando entre los dos, pero al menos se resolvió el tema del rechazo hacia lectora, talvez demasiado bien.

• Caín y Abel trataron de muchas formas volverse los favoritos de lectora mientras ella crecía, ya sea jugando con ella, trayéndole cosas bonitas, pero sobretodo protegiéndola.

• Ellos actúan muy similar a su padre en muchos aspectos, son sobreprotectores a un grado enfermizo, queriendo evitar que lectora haga esto o lo otro, evitando que pise charcos de barro o agua porque “se podría enfermar”, llegando tan lejos como para acusarla con Adán si ella hacia algo “peligroso”.

• Esto genero una relación de amor-odio entre los hermanos, por una parte Caín y Abel harían cualquier cosa por ella (excepto darle libertad absoluta ¿Quién necesita eso con una familia que hace todo por ti? Tontita), mientras que lectora no los veía diferente de como un recluso ve al guardia de su prisión.

• Afortunadamente, al igual como se parecen a su padre, también heredado varios aspectos de su madre.

• Ambos son muy necesitados de la aprobación de lectora, como dije antes, ellos harían CUALQUIER COSA por ella.

• Si lectora usa bien las palabras, puede hacer que, de forma involuntaria, ellos la ayuden a fugarse más de una vez (o simplemente aceptar ciertas condiciones como ella teniendo amigos/pareja), ya sea pidiéndoles cosas o algunos objetos, a cambio de ser su “hermano favorito”

• Y ellos caen redonditos en su trampa. Pero eso no importa, incluso si ellos eventualmente se dan cuenta de que su hermana solo los usa para su propio beneficio, para hacer cosas que su padre no aprueba y que angustian a su madre, a ellos no les importa.

• Todo lo que importa es que ella es feliz gracias a ellos, incluso si reciben algún castigo, están bien con eso, lo aguantarían todo una y otra vez, todo por ver a su hermana feliz.

Wednesday Y/N (To herself): I’m not sure who’s twisted idea it was to put hundreds of adolescent deities in charge of what to do with Humanity by higher deities who’s dreams were crushes years ago… (Looks at Poseidon, Shiva and Aphrodite) but I admire the sadism

Wednesday Y/N walks over to her little brother Cain’s locker which has graffiti over it with insults, opens it and finds Cain all ties up with an Apple in his mouth as he falls over to the ground

Wednesday Y/N (Leans over her brother and takes out the Apple in his mouth): I want names

Cain (Crying): I don’t know who they were, honest. It happened so fast!

Wednesday Y/N (Untying her brother): Cain, emotion equals weakness. Pull yourself together

Cain (Whimpering):

Wednesday Y/N: Now

As Y/N touches her brothers wrists, she suddenly has a vision of a few older adolescent deities that bullied her brother

The Piranhas, thus begin to quickly swim towards the deities with intent to harm them

While the Deities are screaming as they’re trying to swim out of the pool, Y/N has a very small smile slowly creeping up her face, and finally smiles when one of her Piranha pals bites into a Deity, making them bleed as they’re screaming in utter agony

Adam and Eve are very proud of their daughter defending her brother

Caidrith: 6'1 because tall dragon man 💕 He gets all his height from his mother.

Desily: 5'0, she is a fae after all. Fae come in different shapes and sizes, but pixies are typically short

Finch: 5'7, on the shorter side for someone with elf blood

Cere: 5'8 most of the time. She can change her height at will since she doesn't have a set form

Rycharde: 5'11 not including ears. Abnormally tall for catfolk, actually. Might have something to do with his homeland...

Merrick: 5'4 little merperson. Merfolk heights are dependent on what kind (?) they are. Merrick, being an anglerfish, is kind of small compared to, say, a shark, or swordfish.

alskdfad like!!! this is absolute fanon by an utterly biased Catholic, but my thesis statement: this new, other, fictional Adam was created by and made in the image of God (the undepicted one who would never force humankind to fight deities out of his own pettiness, who lets Adam and Lü Bu into Heaven after everything they've been through someone stop me I'm creating spiritual metaphysics of RoR), and Adam - unlike Christianity's Adam - has never strayed from that image.

No god in RoR claims to have created Adam--honestly, I thought Zeus would and there'd be a whole father vs child thing, but no--which to me further cements that Someone Else did. The gods are all taken by surprise by his Divine Reflection. Cain and Abel, both rowdy and perhaps a little antagonistic towards each other, still seem to be loving brothers.

Most tellingly, Adam is motivated by love. He doesn't care about sticking it to the gods. He also has zero hesitation spitting on them in the face when it comes to protecting his loved ones. An un-fallen Adam, made in the image of God, would do these things. He would break the rules not out of selfishness and fear, but because someone made his wife cry, because one of his kids was scared. Does any man need an excuse to protect his children?

To me, all of this lines up for RoR's Adam to not be our Adam (in contrast of it being the "true story"--I actually think RoR's Christianity, if it has one, must have a different history/mythology, one where original sin must've crept in by some other means). And that's just!!! So interesting to me!!!
