i read FT&KB in one sitting on a long car journey (6 hours FLEW by, thank you, SO excited to get into the sequel :D) and thought you might like to know about the best music sync-up i've ever had - i'd just reached the last couple paragraphs, and got hit with the lyrics "Remember all the dead and gone / You might've killed me once / But you won't get that chance again" 11/10 timing, universe read the vibes exactly right 🤌🤌

i want to be free of this tedbecca depression, my god. going to play some songs for a wedding pictorial next month and been practicing a bit and i cant stop incorporating some or all of the lyrics of the love songs with tedbecca and i just start crying.

the fucking hold this show has on me is unbelievable. there are fanfics to help heal and friends to chat with to release the emotions but it just keeps coming back with such a weight i can't fully explain.

I've had a genuinely horrifying thought (re: the passage of time)

so we can all agree that recent romcoms have been missing a certain je ne sais quoi

and one of the reasons that the rom coms of my childhood (tysm nancy meyers) went so hard was the soundtrack right? lots of 70s music, emotional, soulful, evocative stuff, right?

the absolute shock of realising that if the timelines worked the same that the songs on offer are from the early-to-mid 2000s. bruh. I'm reeling.

listening to your and @t4tozier's amazing country playlist and I NEED to share that the vibe of this is so perfectly this mental image in my brain of porter/jace having their fight slash breakup of the month, and porter driving away at top speed from the interaction with country BLARING over the radio, loud enough that Jace can hear it for a few minutes after he's left. and then as he keeps driving it starts to get to the slower slash more contemplative songs.

i love that mental image so much i'm crying.

he has a full on Moment at a stoplight when you me and whisky comes on i know it.
