Update

Gonna be working on my page soon, and updating things. ❤️ it’s been a wild few days for me, but I have some great people in my life who’s been helping me through so much. I want to update a couple of rules for whenever I start RPing on here, which currently I have nothing going on at the moment.

I’m SO EXCITED to have a brand new start in life and on here! I’m hoping that I can make new friends as time goes by and get back into the swing of RPing more on here. I’m no stranger to any of this, like I’ve said, I had an old Fox RP Blog back in like 2015, that I got rid of some years ago (I believe I got rid of it back in 2020). Either way. After some time and consideration, I am back! 💖

My blog is 9 times out of 10 going to consist of Fox McCloud x Rocket Raccoon stuff, since that is a personal favorite ship of mine thanks to my amazing friend who got me into GOTG back when I had my old RP Blog. The reason being is I had to learn to LOVE this character that I didn’t know anything about because I wasn’t really into super hero films and comics back then. It was truly amazing being able to naturally fall in love with something at my own pace and it not feel forced. So (FOCKET) is quite special to me.

Another personal ship I enjoy is Fox X Wolf 🦊❌🐺 and Falco X Fox (so you might see allot of that stuff shared or talked about too)

But generally when it comes to ship RP’s i’m generally open with any OC (as long as it isn’t a female shipment) I do apologize but my Fox is gay. 🏳️‍🌈 but that doesn’t mean I’m opposed to trying out something in the future maybe?

I just want my blog to feel like a safe place not only for myself, but to others who enjoy Star Fox (Or any of the above mentioned characters/ships like Rocket, Wolf, etc). ☺️

Hey guys I had a crazy dream last night where I got a really long anonymous ask telling me that my blog shouldn’t and doesn’t have to be all Good Omens rollplay, so I’ve decided to take that as a sign and come out to you all.

Who am I and what is this place?

I guess it would be best too start by introducing myself. My name is Desmond and I’m an artist born in Brooklyn New York and raised in Georgia. I’m 29 and I’ve been role playing for 7 or 8 years now. As both a player and GM. Though this is a solo role playing blog I’m apart of a traditional weekly group as well. My favorite game system too run for my traditional group is Metro Otherscape currently.

I started role playing as a way too make new friends and I genuinely believe I wouldn’t be who I am today if I never decided too join a group. As far as solo role playing goes I started out using it as a way too test out new game systems without giving my friends whiplash from my constant system switching. My favorite systems for solo sessions currently is Basic Rollplay using Mythic GME 2 as my oracle though I’m still learning both. For the past few months I’ve been working on an animated solo rp log too keep myself busy. I originally had hopes of creating a Youtube series out of it. While it’s possible that I might still release this series or something like it in the future, I thought it might be better too start out with something a bit more manageable in the form of this blog.

If you play D&D, Pathfinder, Starfinder, or any other Tabletop Rollplaying game (TTRPG) I beg you, as a fellow player and enjoyer of these things, READ AND SIGN THIS OPEN LETTER!!!!

Hasboro and Wizards of the Coast (WotC) want to force a licensing change on this community. What change, simple, they want to force everyone to pay them or die. They want to kill off Paizo (the makers of Pathfinder) and other similar companies by forcing them to pay 25% of their REVENUE, not profits. Taking the money away before the people who actually write the rules, the modules, the rulebooks, and create the art to fill those pages are paid for their work. This could mean skyrocketing prices for those books. They also want all new systems in those games to cease production (like Pathfinder 2E). They want to kill platforms like Foundry where we can play our games without paying WotC for the privilege. This would leave Roll20 as the lone platform to play TTRPGs online and the worst platform at that. (I've literally played on google slides using the archive of nethys and my irl dice to play Pathfinder, and it still worked better than Roll20 does.)

This could also lead to them coming after creators of D&D content, be it songs, parody guides, or even podcasters and YouTubers who play for our fun like Tabletop Champions and Oxventures. This could end up extending to people who publish, host, or blog about homebrew rules, settings, and systems.

Literally every part of the unique, non WotC, D&D experience could be threatened by these changes.

Please read and sign the open letter at the top of the post to help prevent the death of TTRPGs as we know them.
