Hi! I found your story three days ago, and i love it so much! The writing is so well done, the descriptions of the places bring you into the London atmosphere! You are a really great writer, and I love the angst between the mysterious L and MC, that scene in chapter 5 repeats often in my mind😏 I wanted to ask, is it possible to have romantic interactions with all three ROs at the same time? I tried, but I can only get W and L. H is so difficult to get! If I am closer with W, I only get the rose bud with spines, and he does not pick MC up the day of the ball. (I chose the green satin dress in chapter 4 or 5, 'cause I like the interaction with L🤫, i don't know if that is part of the problem...) I also saw that you published a L and evil MC story on Patreon! By chance, will you publish it also for the public? Anyways, I'm sorry for the disturb and the many, many questions... I can't wait to see more of the ball and the ROs! I hope to read something soon! Have a great work and greater day!💖

The ROs don’t have any relationships that, what’s phrase… well, the variables don’t seesaw? One doesn’t bring down the other (not yet anyway).

I think it’s more that you haven’t gotten the H simp route. Please see the tumblr master post for the guide 🥰❤️❤️ (the bold dress would make it so you can only get half simp — which requires you to then have high approval and turn H down at first, to have the simp scenes).

I don't think L is very romantically toxic and not very jealous. More insecure than jealous. More possessive and proactive if you're an item, tho.

Adler isn't romantically jealous. But, they can be sexually envious. And they can be toxic in many ways!

W, H, and X all have their own flavour of issues in a romantic relationship, significantly depending on dynamics and circumstances... But any one of them would be able to fit your criteria...

hello, sorry to bother but i was wondering if the public romance guide will be updated to the more recent chapters? i realised that on your patreon there has been guides for the more recent stuff so i was just checking if we would get to see it soon as well? thanks for replying regardless.

There hasn’t been more guides on the patreon? I don’t think so anyway 😅 There was the H guide simp/non simp one, but that’s on tumblr too 🥰

The reason why I haven’t done more guides is because… they’re rather awful to make. And my game isn’t very punishing with stats or romance so I more make smaller guide at times when I feel it is very necessary.

I’ll prob make some guides for the ball, if there are moments that players often miss or don’t get their desired results for ❤️

I’m absolutely hooked on this story! But I’m having a bit of a technical issue. I was playing on Safari, and accidentally clicked on another window. When I came back, my game reset, and my save is gone. I’m so frustrated! Do you think it would be better to play on Firefox? I’ve already restarted my computer twice today, and I’m at my wits’ end. 😭

That emotional torture anon asking about H has me wondering...

So, Sherlock can be quite oblivious, and we see how hurtful they can unintentionally be with for example Lestrade. And I'm wondering if we'll have a lot of opportunities to hurt the ROs - including the other ones - without Sherlock meaning it? And I'm not talking about whatever happened in Sherlock's and Lestrade's past that created the weird sentiment Lestrade has towards them, but actual choices - like the gloating without even realizing it and so on. Will other ROs even have that kind of stuff?

I'm not even planning on doing that - as you most likely remember, my Sherlock is overly sensitive and tends to also be careful with people most of the time. But I really like the idea of that kind of choices in an IF. I don't recall seeing something like that in any other game now that I think of it.

🤔 well, I think you can be quite rude to Watson, some of the choices are at the very least in a ”I didn’t mean to be rude to you, I was merely joking—” way.

Though I do think some of the Lestrade dynamics, the bickering ones, lends themselves to a ”the hurting is instinctual at this point” more than the other. There’s a lot of that, potentially, in both directions.

I think it would be hard to offend H in that same manner obliviously. H has some other dynamics baked in that would more easily happen. Like choosing to go against their expectations, their etiquette, or simply being someone they disapprove of because of what you are naturally. And the obliviousness is either more about not understanding what they would disapprove of, or that they have a strong interest in you.

So my answer is, sort of? But not that exactly. I’d rather write what is interesting than what is… symmetrical.

Would you mind telling me how someone can implement this button on itchio? I've never seen anyone adding the option to read the code there and always thought that it's just not possible ...

You can do almost anything on itch. You have access to all the files after all.

The easiest way is to just add your scene text files in your compiled upload file. And then link to these (I linked first to a html file that in turn links to the txt files.)

Prob should have automated it but… I’m lazy.

The button is added in the code in the gui file I think it was. There’s a function that changes one of the button texts when one clicks the stat button and I just hijacked that to add a button link ☺️
