today on the channel i’m sharing my current morning skincare routine as well as an update on a couple of products i’ve been using recently.
a couple of videos back i talked about how i wouldn’t be buying skincare for the remainder of the year because of all the products i own and haven’t used. as such, my morning skincare routine has been changing every couple of days, as i try to make my way through all of my skincare products. it’s been very exciting (re)discovering products and seeing how much my skin is loving them.
regarding product updates, i’ve been using the rodial skincare bee venom super serum and the bea skincare solar defence mineral sunscreen and omg, these two products are absolutely amazing. in terms of the serum, this serum has worked wonders in making my face feel sleek and smooth. this is a serum i’ll definitely be considering once my skincare ban is over because i’d love to see the effects of this on my long term skin goals. now, in terms of the bea skincare sunscreen, this is THE sunscreen to try if you love mineral sunscreen (or if you’re curious about mineral sunscreens). want to find out more? make sure you watch until the end.

Maria Hatzistefanis is the owner of UK-based Rodial Skincare and Nip + Fab. Two of the leading brands in the skincare business. NIP+FAB is targeting teenage girls and the most popular products are their glycolic acid skincare products. Their prices are affordable to their target audience. It is also obvious that it is meant for younger girls because of their branding and packaging. Their products are always colourful and fun and something that would grab every teenage eye at the store.

Rodial on the other hand is targeting women aged 30+ which is also evident from their packaging, branding and their website. The products are a little bit more expensive but in the affordable bracket for a middle class woman over 30. I like that they put their skincare products in coloured croups making it easier for women to see which products work best with each other.

It is also easy to see the difference in branding and marketing on their websites. The NIP+FAB page is full of vivid colours while the Rodial website is more toned down and more minimalistic. Even though the websites are different, you can still see the similarities; they are both “clean” and easy to navigate and also have a black header on top.
