Tattletail sonic AU. Tails is the kid of the story and the tattletails are sentient plushy versions of the badniks. Metal is the main tattletail and kinda looks like a ripoff of his cannon counterpart. (More purpley blue, reddish orange eyss instead of pure red, cutsey but still unsettling, etc-) the other tattletails would be like Rusty, Infinite, the MK mecha sonic lines, maybe even Shard. Mama would be Starline or Stone.. probably starline hesmore evil on his own.

Instead of being called tattletails their branded ‘Robobros’ or smth like that idk- ALSO THE MAMA LINES IN THIS SONG GAVE ME HEAVY VIBES OF THE EVIL TAILS AU @powered-by-prower HAS GOING ON (HI DUDE HOPE YOU DONT MIND MENTIONS)

Woman In The Mirror

There she was again. That same woman looming within the boundaries of the mirror. No matter what mirror the robot happened to glance at, that dark figure would be there waiting, staring back. It wasn't malicious, no, the shadow more so seemed curious, as if they were observing the robot going about their daily night. Rosnix at first assumed it to be a trick of the light, maybe their optical orbs had needed a replacing or something. Rosnix even considered maybe they weren't the only one seeing this figure, but that idea fell flat when neither their flesh brother or the hulking cyclops lusus seemed to react either. Part of Rosnix simply wished to ignore it, even if that was a bit of a hard task. Rosnix, one early morning, while their flesh brother lie asleep in his cocoon, headed towards the bathroom silently with a small camera in hand. They were hoping to possibly capture a picture of this shadow in hopes of... Well, in hopes of proving that maybe what they were seeing wasn't real. Robots couldn't have hallucinations, right? The gentle hum as they hovered towards the bathroom filled the silence as Rosnix reached over to turn the light switch on... And there it was: The same figure. Tall and shadowed, blue eyes glittering out from the void. Rosnix didn't turn to look at the figure for a couple moments, silently preparing the camera before turning. The figure didn't flinch. Normally in situations like this, whatever shadowy entity would flee at the possibility of being seen, not wanting to have their cover blown or be exposed to a wider audience. But there they remained, watching as Rosnix slowly lifted up the camera and readied themselves to take the snapshot, finger hovering over the photo button. A certain stillness filled the room as Rosnix seemed to hesitate, staring at the figure through the camera's lens. Rosnix felt something in their robotic stomach, an odd sensation that they couldn't quite put into words. They've heard about nervousness and anxiety in trolls, could this be it? That wouldn't make sense tho, robots weren't able to feel such things. Something nagged at them, causing them to lower the camera and stare into the mirror's reflection. They placed the camera down and moved forward, gently pressing their metallic fingertips against the glass. The shadow mirrored their movements. Rosnix felt that same rush of emotion that occurred the last time they encountered the figure, making them jolt back slightly in surprise. It wasn't as intense as last time, no, it was rather... Pleasant? An odd kind of pleasant if you were to ask them. The figure's hand remained there for a moment more before it started to move their finger across their side of the mirror, their movement seeming slowed and out of focus. The text written was backwards, yes, but Rosnix was an intelligent creation, so it wasn't too much of a struggle for them to make out what was being written in loopy, old Alternian lettering. "=) I'm a friend, not a foe. (=" Rosnix milled over the message before turning and deciding to simply leave the bathroom, grabbing the camera as they turned off the lights. Something didn't sit right with them, and maybe they should've continued on with the plan, although the message seemed to put them slightly at ease. This shadow wasn't a threat to them or their loved ones. And that's all that Rosnix cared about in the moment.

Strange Unexplainable Feelings

Silence. It's something Rosnix's known for most of their life. Silence. The cold old earth covering from head to toe. An emptiness that would grow and grow. Until he found them. Until he fixed them up. Rosnix's... "BROTHER". A term you never heard until this point, a term that best explained the relationship between you and Damiri Kothar. He, alongside a friend of his, had found Rosnix buried within the soil while out digging for only god knows what reason. He took Rosnix in, he fixed them up and made them brand new. Gave them a power source and everything. Rosnix is forever grateful. But. There was strange feelings in Rosnix's metal chest. Things they didn't understand. How could they feel? They were a machine. The relationship between Rosnix and their flesh brother was rocky. Damiri didn't entirely like them at first. Rosnix's programming, something that had been created by the Kothar of the past, made them subservient to the Kothar bloodline. Rosnix only assumed that's how they needed to act around Damiri as well. But no. They were wrong. There was no command give, but a simple suggestion tossed out into the wind. "YΩu can be yΩur Ωwn trΩll, RΩsnix. YΩu dΩn't have tΩ fΩllΩw my every cΩmmand." Is what he told Rosnix. It didn't make sense to them at first. How could they go against their programming? How could they break the mold of something they've known all of their life? It was... A struggle for Rosnix, but eventually they started to understand. They observed the trolls around them, analyzing their personalities silently from a distance. Everyone was different. No fit into a particular, well-defined mold. But Rosnix? They were BUILT to fall into some sort of mold. A mold they didn't want to be apart of anymore. It was making Damiri, the one person they could call family, drift away from they. They were scared of losing him. Rosnix took bits and pieces from the trolls around them, desperately trying to build some sense of "self". But it was so hard. Their programming fought against them at every turn, trying to force them back into that subservient state of mind. But they kept pushing through. They kept pushing through for the one person they... They... For the one person they cared about the most. Rosnix stood in the doorway of Damiri's workshop, letting their shoulders relax slightly in a manner of annoyance. He had fallen asleep at his workbench again, the roaring of several different power tools filling in the silence. Rosnix went over and turned off all of the little machines before adjusting the Indigoblood in his wheelchair, placing one of their hands on his back. The wheelchair didn't have a proper back for whatever reason. Rosnix rolled the sleeping male out of his workshop, taking him to his respiteblock silently. Carefully, they lifted their sleeping flesh brother into his cocoon, taking off all of his little accessories and placing them neatly on his wheelchair for him to find in the morning. Rosnix just brushed some hair out of Damiri's face, a soft smile tugging onto their robotic lips. This was all for him. Whether it was their programming or not, Rosnix was doing this all for him. Damiri meant the world to Rosnix. They'd do anything to protect him, to keep him happy. Maybe this explained the odd feelings they were having. Their love and affection towards the Indigoblood, something they never remembered experiencing in the past. Damiri gave them a second chance at life.
