On November 24, 1985, the second Ewoks TV Special "Battle for Endor" aired. The TV movie won an Emmy for Outstanding Special Visual Effects and was nominated for Emmys for Oustanding Children's Program and Oustanding Sound Mixing for a Miniseries or a Special. Warwick Davis returned as Wicket, Aubree Miller as Cindel and (briefly) Eric Walker as Mace. Wilford Brimley joined the central cast as Noa. The Nightsisters introduced in this would show up again years later in the Star Wars animated series The Clone Wars.
