Honey was literally never been a child in her life and basically just spawned in as is.

She's got wings and a tail. The wings can go away and tuck into her body, but her tail just had to hang out there in the open. That mother fucker is her biggest emotional tell. When she's mad it whips around and because it has BLADE at the end of it, her anger becomes everyone else's problem too.

somtimes i think about clarinette potentially being the m34ths mechanical person/engineer/inventor/tinkerer kind of person. she can fix their weapons when they break down and is the person who helps with inventing new tech

her recent project is mecha dogs that can sniff out traces of magic. when she first shows lime shes like "these are my baby boys!! they can sniff out witches!!" and when she tries to get them to demonstrate, they walk around a bit and then walk up to LIME and point to him.

he gives her a blank look and goes "Wow nice job, so good. You got me." and she spends weeks and months trying to figure out whats wrong with them

(nothings wrong with them, lime was cuddling with mochi all night so her warmth is all over him. they were spot on)

Tales of Time Long Past

Story: The Queen of Frost

Legend I. Stagnant Seasons and the Punishment that followed.

The first underling of the Sun, the Queen of Seasons, was a noble being. She brought about beauty and change, beloved by those of the heavens and the mortals below.

It is known that nature must change.

When she slowed to bask in the beauty of the moon, it was an excusable error.

When she paused to hold her hand, it began to turn heads.

When she refused to move, she forced the Heaven's hand.

All for what the mortals had called... love. She'd learned it upon interacting with them over the years.

She wanted to stay with the moon.

The Sun warned her:

Once, out of pity. Twice, out of disappointment. Thrice, out of anger.

"She put the fate of the world on the line for her selfish wants."

That's what they said to justify their actions.

With much sorrow, the Sun passed her role to the next suitable elemental. Her wings ripped and torn, just as her essence was stripped away.

Cast down with chains of gold, bearing the weight of the mortal feelings she wanted so with her lover. Wearing her crown during the agonizing decent to the mortal realm for the last time.

Her only sin was to love.

I have a few questions about the robo sleuths world that I’m genuinely curious about

Sorry if this is to many questions! you have no obligation to respond and feel free to ignore!

What is the logistical reason a person would become a robot in your universe, and in addition, how much of them gets turned into a robot? “Just a few limbs or the whole shabang? Are those parts of them damaged or rusted by water? Is swimming out of the picture? Rodney obviously looks like his “skin” is made out of metal, so how was his consciousness and brain kept intact? Did they just shove it in the robot? Or other fancy sci-fi business?

Sorry, that was a mouthful! Your world is just really interesting and it’s got me immersed and thinking about logistics! Hats off to you pal!

I may stray slightly off-topic to add some more lore things... but I'll do my best to answer them all so get ready for a lore post!! >:)

I kinda spoofed it the last time I talked about it, but the most common reason a person is turned into a robo is to change their appearance for a variety of reasons; a large chunk of these people just want to be more attractive (which more often then not disappoints them greatly). The second most common reason, which I think is the most logistical, would be medical reasons. This too comes in many different forms. Some people are terminally ill and simply want to continue living as a robo, some can't function well on their own and need support, some are already dead and turned into a robo against their will, etc. For the vast majority of these people, only their brain is used. More specifically, their brain (and possibly nervous system) are intricately wired to the robo... it's a very complex process. Sometimes parts can't be salvaged and the robo model is adapted to reflect that. Sometimes... in some cases, their entire body is put into the model. Usually to assist mobility, sometimes because the person is a psychopath. /hj Speaking of which, most people turned into robos get to choose their design. In the scenario they can't choose for whatever reason, either someone decides for them, the doctor chooses a "fitting" model based on their situation, or they just go with one of a few generic options.

Given it is still metal, the robos would unfortunately rust over time with water exposure. However, given the robo uses more brain power as opposed to electricity found in regular robots, it's less likely that water would kill them as opposed to just being a large inconvenience. Despite this swimming would still be a terrible idea as the chance of malfunctioning is still there; this does increase the bigger the robo/the more technology used. A passing of water, say, a fountain or even a rain storm, generally won't affect a robo, though.

Would you believe it but practically all the robos have metal skin- But that aside, in the case of Rodney (and many others, as touched on before) it's literally kind of both. A very intense process is required to hook up the brain and other body parts to the machine, but they really do just take out the brain and stick it in the robo in a way.

Bonus

And since I'm thinking about it... the more a brain is damaged when it's used for a robo, the more electronics it needs to function properly. Damage can often occur during the surgery. Thankfully, more often than not, a brain containing electronics won't cause too much of a difference to the robo other than the occasional glitch. But if too much of the brain is replaced, or if the surgery is done wrong, it leads to memory loss for the robo. Such as in the case of Lou, whe-💥💥💥💥

...okay I'm still slightly keeping hidden what happened to Lou as I want it to be a surprise but as compensation, I'll share a 'fun' fact about Rodney!

He got prompted into becoming a robo because of a gunshot wound to the head.

The reason for being shot though? I can't say!! Yet.
