Aaron and Robert: Good for Each Other?

The boys are in hell. Broken by their current situations and missing each other it hurts us, the viewers as well. In this time off the fandom has more time to analyze Aaron and Robert and where they stand with each other. The questions I’ve seen come up on Tumblr and Twitter are:

Is Aaron better off without Robert?

Is Aaron happier without Robert?

Is Robert worthy of Aaron?

Will Robert always be a villain?

I’ve seen many answers, and I had to add my two cents to the pile of pennies. I analyze both Aaron and Robert’s lives before they met and who they are as people. Then my own personal feelings on the biggest question of all.

Should Aaron and Robert be together?

Aaron Dingle

Aaron has never had an easy life. Born to Chas Dingle and Gordon Livesy in 1992 and being left to live with his father and stepmother. As he grows up he and Chas didn’t have the best relationship. He regularly clashed with her whenever he visited. Chas felt guilty she left Aaron behind while Aaron felt angry that his mother didn’t seem to want him. Aaron comes back in 2008, Chas learning Aaron is a drug dealer for the McFarlane’s and kicked out of Gordons house after hitting Sandra, his stepmother. The Dingles get him out of the problem and Gordon won’t take him back. He ends up moving to Emmerdale for good. After getting into numerous scrapes, stealing and selling animal drugs from Paddy and stealing a van and setting Belle up for it, Lisa gets him a job as a mechanic. He dated two girls, Victoria and Holly, only to have his true feelings revealed when he kisses Adam. Scared to death Adam would reveal his secret he convinces him it was nothing. He meets Jackson and flirts with the idea of kissing him almost being caught by Paddy and Marlon. Jackson tries to touch Aarons arm and he punches him. Aaron tries to commit suicide once his secret is out being saved by Adam and Cain. He goes out with Jackson who moves the relationship too fast and ends up having to help him with his decision to kill himself, good and sweet Ed is next who he runs off with and abandons in France and then he is home for good after finding that going on the run doesn’t work. We learn later that Gordon had been raping Aaron as a child which explains his moods but doesn’t excuse his actions. He is guarded and doesn’t have time for more than one-night stands, until Robert Sugden appears in his life.

Aaron is a Dingle through and through. He is someone who hits first and asks questions later. Anytime Aaron doesn’t want to deal with his emotions. The audience tends to excuse Aarons choices in life because of how his father raped him, and Chas left him behind. Which, can be detrimental to his character. The walls around his heart were built by Gordon, Chas and the people who have let him down for good. Aaron doesn’t trust easily even when the people he loves shows they love him. He doesn’t take to flaws well even though he is full of them. He is grumpy and keeps to himself, not daring himself to love at all.

Robert Sugden

Robert never had an easy life. Born to Pat and Jack Sugden in 1986 he lost his mother at four months old leaving him to be raised by Jack and his grandmother Annie Sugden. As time went on Jack met and married Sarah, the woman who would become his mother figure. He then got a little sister named Victoria. He made a friend in Andy and got him adopted by his family. That is when it started. Like the first pancake, he was pushed aside for the new brother by Jack. After Andy kills Sarah in a barn fire (the one person who was always on his side and loved him like her own), Andy and Robert become friendly enemies. Between fighting for Jacks attention, Katie’s attention and ultimately who belongs in the village. Robert dated/slept with a lot of women (sometimes drunk) which included Nicola, Charity, and Sadie. We found out later that there was more going on there. Robert interested in the family farm hand, kissing him and getting caught by Jack. Getting beaten for this Robert has hidden that side away. Until his return in 2014 when the man who put up a wall of charm and revenge comes home and meets Aaron Dingle.

Robert is a legacy. Born to the Sugdens, the fans who were there from his birth have seen him grow up in front of their eyes. They feel a connection to him as they watched him grow up in Emmerdale. He was open and wide eyed until Andy came about and things started to change. He was fighting for the approval of his dad, the one person in his life that has been there always. The one he thought would protect him. Instead, Jack hit him, belittled him and ultimately sent him away from the village. So, it is no wonder that when he comes home, he is bitterly charming towards the family left behind. In his time away, surviving on his own, his heart had a wall around it, a wall built by Jack. He still had that wide-eyed child in there, but it was drowned out by all the trauma his time in Emmerdale and beyond inflicted on him.

Should They Be Together?

Robert and Aaron have daddy issues. Fathers who didn’t do their jobs of protecting their sons and raising them to be the best people they can be. Not giving them a real chance at leading a semi-normal life in the slightest. They both have/had mothers who loved them but left them in different ways. Aaron and Robert both hid who they truly were (Gay and Bi) and tried to over compensate for that through drinking, fighting and causing general mayhem. Aaron uses his fists to get out of problems. Robert uses his mind. Both had first experiences that tainted their views of living a gay and bi lifestyle in the future. They both get into trouble easily, especially when protecting their own.

They even each other out. Where one fails, the other picks up the slack. They are both highly aware of what is it is like to be left behind. That pain that comes from the heart when one is left behind used and abused and kicked out of the family way too soon. They both have a lot of love to share but don’t know how to share it. They can’t stay away from each other for long because they are like magnets. They know and understand each other’s good and bad sides and still want to love each other with all their heart.

So. Should they be together after all?

They are good for each other. They are. They both have similar demons that need to be handled, and they will handle them once they learn to communicate with each other. Learn that Aaron uses his fists when he is scared and doesn’t know his way out. Robert uses his mind and alcohol when he is scared and doesn’t know a way out. They are each other’s families. Yes, they have their blood (The Dingles/The Sugdens), but those families have failed them. They want to create a family with each other. A family of their love and the arrival of Liv strengthen that feeling between them.

Aaron and Robert understand each other in a way that other people cannot. Sometimes all they have to do is look at each other and they know what is going on in their mind. They know each other’s triggers. They figured them out quickly over the course of the affair. This is something that would be harder to convey to someone who hasn’t been through a rough life. They just get each other in a way that no one else could. Rebecca thinks she knows Robert. She knows the Robert with the walls. Aaron not only knew Robert with the walls, but he knew how to take those walls down with one conversation. He sees all of Roberts sides and not just the charming, revenge minded, and sarcastic one either. Robert knows Aarons walls and knew how deep and intense those walls are; one would say they are still coming down. Robert knew Aaron was hurting himself before everything came out about Gordon because Aaron couldn’t fight his way out of his emotions. So, he fought himself by running obsessively and hurting himself. Robert was the only one to see Aaron and what he was going through. These two can read each other like a book, even with the walls way up.

Robert and Aaron are more similar than different. They will have huge highs and scary lows, but that doesn’t make them wrong for each other. Not in the slightest.

That makes them a classic super couple. A couple we can get behind and root for regardless of what happens to them in the future.

Conclusion

People question if Aaron and Robert should be together. Looking at their histories and how they balance each other out, of course, they should be together. Aaron isn’t happier without Robert. Robert is worthy of Aarons love. Aaron is worthy of Roberts. They just don’t realize they are worthy of each other. So, fans out there should stay true and support this couple while they are at their lowest of lows because soon, they will be building to the highest of highs. I know I want to be there when it happens, will you?

I’m not really bothered by people shipping Robert & the lesser White sister (even if I see no chemistry between them & the thought of it makes me want to vom) 😂 because people ship unpopular ships all the time, like the look of two character’s together, even when there’s little chance of that happening.

What worries me is that some people are so delusional that they completely disregard canon & fact to believe that Robert wanted her at all since October 16.

The Kisses in October & November were manipulation on his part to keep her on side to help Andy & take down the Whites (The October one also Robert’s way of confirming that he only wanted Aaron & no one else, before he made a huge commitment to him) & the ONS was home messed up & hurting & being a dick trying to hurt Aaron back.

Canon & fact shows that if Robert Sugden wants you, he will have you. Multiple times over a short period of time (he doesn’t do waiting over months to have you again if he has any say in the matter) & he will not be satisfied with a ONS, Robert does full blown affairs if he wants you (Like Elaine when he was with Donna, with Katie when she was with Andy, with Sadie while he was with Katie, with multiple randoms when he was with Chrissie & with Aaron when he was with Chrissie). Robert has never been satisfied with only sleeping with you once if he wants you, he goes straight back for more, he does not insist over & over that it was a mistake.

Whenever he & Aaron went a long time without hooking up during the affair, that was always by Aaron’s choice, not his. Even when Robert put the breaks on it, he always came running back after a short period.

When Robert wants you, he is not sustained by a hook up every now & again, he wants as much as he can. When Robert wants you, he doesn’t wait months to sleep with you, he does it practically straight away. He also doesn’t stop your advances multiple times. If your handing it to him on a plate & he want’s you, he will sleep with you as soon as possible (With possibly one minor attempt to not give in to temptation, not multiple refusals to give in).

Yes, I believe he wanted to have sex with the lesser White sister when he was with Chrissie. But I don’t think that was ever about wanting her as an individual (She’s too much of a pushover, too simpering, to be of long term attraction to him. He likes those with bite, like Donna, Elaine, Katie, Sadie, Chrissie & Aaron. They all share a similar verbal bite that Robert has, he enjoys that witty back & forth with them, that the lesser White sister severely lacks). For him, having the lesser White sister while he was with Chrissie was all about the taboo (Yes, in my mind I’m hearing this word in Ryan Hawley’s voice) of having his girlfriend’s sister, he was never fulfilled by Chrissie completely, he was bored & she was easy.

So to summarise again. If Robert Sugden truly wants you, he will have a full blown affair with you. Not 2 kisses with a month break in between & not just a ONS.

As we all know, on January 3, 2019, the California parole Board found the killer of musician Gary Hinman, Robert Kenneth Beausoleil, acceptable for parole!

This decision will be considered by a special Commission another 120 days and the people of California and adjacent areas can still appeal to the new Governor of the State and to help Deborah Tate in her current struggle to the decision of the Commission was blocked and he was left in prison, what needs to happen in the end, because it is right!

Anyway, my new post today isn't about him, and about a monster whose release from prison is even more dangerous than Bobby's freedom!

This post will be about Leslie Louise Van Houten, who is currently awaiting a new hearing on her early release...

This hearing scheduled for January 30, 2019, and for now, we can all help the California parole Board make the right decision this time!

This woman is a mortal danger to normal society!

For all her very long stay in different prisons (1971-2019), she never admitted her guilt in her own actions!

She's a professional liar, smart enough to learn over the years, even remotely from Charles Manson, how to falsify all the facts to be considered clean and worthy of parole!

At the time of the crime she was only 19 years old! and this fact is just one of many others that make this woman even more unfit for liberation...

Let's not be deceived by her youth in 1969 and old age now!

This woman was cruel from the very beginning, long before meeting Robert Kenneth Beausoleil and Charles Manson!

I can write for you an example of an excerpt from the Prosecutor's book on the Charles Manson cult and many other cases-Vincent T. Bugliosi Jr.:

- Leslie Van Houten often beating her younger sister on the head with her Shoe when she did not like something..

She was very tough from her youth hurting those who couldn't answer her!

This behavior is one of the classic signs that characterize maniac tendencies in humans and reveal all their hidden dark sides...

Parents knew about everything,but did nothing, so the daughter continued to do everything she wanted until she was convicted, naively believing that for all her actions she would not be punished...

A story that demonstrates her cruelty and desire to please Charlie Manson:

It was a late evening on August 8, 1969...

Charles Manson ordered Susan Denise Atkins, better known as" Sadie Mae Glatz", to find and bring to the car Linda Darlene Kasabian (née druin) because she was the only one who had a driver's license and Patricia Diana "Katie" Krenwinkel...

After that he took Charles Danton " Tex " Watson, wrapped with him behind Danny DeCarlo's car and gave him a knife and a revolver, saying that he and the girls will need to get in the car and go to the former residence of Terry Melcher to kill everyone there, whom they will only see such terrible and bloody methods as he can ...

The Murder Of Rosemary La Bianca....

The next day, just hours after Tex, Sadie, Katie and Linda came back from Cielo Drive, Charlie outfitted them for a new case...

This time they were joined by Leslie Van Houten, Clem and Manson himself...

They spent several hours looking for new victims and only about two o'clock in the morning choosing a beautiful house of the spouses La Bianca,stopping in the Parking lot in front of the house, where they many times before that night took LSD...

Leno was the owner of a small supermarket chain, and his wife rosemary La Bianca owned her own flower shop...

Manson snuck into their house, tied them up when they preparing go sleep and promised them that they will only Rob them...

He then went back to Watson and gave him instructions to "kill everyone without a fuss", sending him, Patricia and Leslie Van Houten to "murderous work" instead of Susan,who by then had still not moved away from LSD ...

Rosemary La Bianca received a total of 41 stab wounds, she desperately resisted Patricia with Leslie wanting to help her husband, who at the same time had already been killed by Watson, but cruel monsters in the form of harmless, cute teenage girls, did not give her the opportunity to leave the bedroom, tying her and killing the poor woman in four hands!

Regardless of Leslie's subsequent words, which she repeats so far in each of her interviews and in all of her parole hearings, she doesn't repent because she has elementary never pleaded guilty, and it's the likes of her that most often have "relapses" despite all the efforts to correct them at the California Institute For Woman`s...

At the moment,all of us, despite the cities and countries in which we live, can show that the entire world community is AGAINST the release of people like her from prison....

Ollie… a friend for a long time with zero romance of any kind. They just drifted apart as the character was slowly being written out. Shame since a true friendship would have been nice for Robert.

Lucy… Robert’s first girlfriend where he never got further than snogging. When it was time to write out Lucy and her family, Robert got the short end of the stick as he wanted to sleep with her and she really didn’t. They went with humiliating him in the end.

Nicola… while she ‘popped Robert’s cherry’, it wasn’t long before SHE wanted rid of him as he was getting more enamored in her. Nicola wound up using Syd to have Robert see them together. This made Robert mistrustful of women in general.

Elaine… she was decent with some dry wit but once again she and her family were being written out (if they ever need a legitimate long-lost child, perfect candidate here as they were sleeping together before she left) so where to go from there? Get him involved with someone who was out of his reach.

Katie… this pairing came out of nowhere (at least to me) when both started to have growing feelings for each other even though involved with others (namely Andy and Elaine). Robert himself didn’t want to hurt his brother (they made peace with each other) but the pull was too strong and so the affair and eventual official hookup (this was NOT like when Robert wanted revenge against Andy when he returned with a new head on his shoulders, they fell in love against their own better judgment). Katie needed to be written out and enter him sleeping with Sadie again (after having ended things with her months ago) to accommodate that departure.

Sadie… Forbidden fruit with no strings attached (Katie was not enough apparently as Chrissie was later, my own interpretation, so enter Sadie). But the writing seemed mixed here. Robert didn’t want to hurt Katie as he was happy with her yet… almost right away, he was back to sleeping with Sadie. Needed more insight on this turn as he willingly helped her with King information via an unsuspecting Katie.

Donna… simply should have remained as friends without the sexual benefits as with Ollie. They had a longstanding friendship since they were kids that was destroyed by hooking them up unnessarily. The way they were presented on screen, they never came off as boyfriend/girlfriend other than in Donna’s mind that first go round.

Victoria… they had their moments which were not as often as they should have been and you could see that Robert loved his sister yet the producer went to the extreme when he and Katie started their affair and wanted to make sure she didn’t say anything. It’s unfortunate that his exit led to a nine year separation between the two. Robert, in the end, became collateral damage (for his own exit) for having protected his sister (as Jack and Andy most certainly would have done if they were around).

And we still have some time remaining before Karl!Robert’s exit for him to go after Debbie.

Classic ED schedule, week 45 (2024)

UK START TIME FOR MONDAY: 1:35 P.M.

04-Nov: 30-Mar-2006 (4323), 31-Mar-2006 (4324)

1) NOTE: Script editor was Maxine Exley (later Alderton)!. KATIE has harsh words for Debbie who plans some revenge on her and Andy for what they did to Daz with Jasmine’s help involving ewes. The revenge only causes chaos not only for Andy’s livelihood but for Laurel nearly having an accident. Sadie and Alasdair reach an amicable rapproachment but not with Rosemary. Pollard sees Alice’s fundraising as a campaign plus for him. 2) Sadie gets what she wants from the Sinclairs infuriating Rosemary. Pollard uses the check presentation as a PR push. It’s Victoria birthday where she’s cold toward Katie as is Daz but Jack sees things differently (Daz the new Robert?) 🙄.

UK START TIME FOR TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY: 1:20 P.M.

05-Nov: 02-Apr-2006 (4325), 03-Apr-2006 (4326)

1) Rosemary gets the last laugh with Sadie as the million dollar company she was expecting to get is now worth nothing and she just ate her horse Cossack 🤢🤮! Rodney apologizes to Paul for not understanding his sexuality and that he’s proud of him. Jamie’s keeping some of the cafe’s profits and Viv’s not amused. 2) Tom is offered to buy his rival’s haulage but leaves it to Jimmy when distressing news has him headed to Spain. Paul moves back into Rodney’s. A CD leads to final closure between Paul and Ivan. Rodney offers Jamie a challenge.

06-Nov: 04-Apr-2006 (4327), 05-Apr-2006 (4328)

1) It’s 70s disco night at the Woolie with Rodney trying to get Paul and Ivan back together. Steph surprises Adam by moving his things into her room! Adam won’t talk about his past to Steph. Alice admits her fading body is winning over her will to live. Jamie’s attempt to sell a vase fails. 2) Ivan wants to try again but Paul doesn’t feel the same prompting Ivan to leave for a while. Adam’s tolerance level about Steph and Betty wanting to know about his past reaches a breaking point. Jamie finds a way to get rid of the vase to his advantage. Terry wants a larger role in TJ’s life.

UK START TIME FOR THURSDAY & FRIDAY: 1:35 P.M.

07-Nov: 06-Apr-2006 (4329), 07-Apr-2006 (4330)

1) Adam’s ex, Isla, shows up making Steph believe Adam’s good mood is about her. Adam proposes to Steph only for her to admit to killing Shelley! Dawn blows Terry’s money for TJ on drinks. Pearl finally gets a chance to talk with her grandson in Hong Kong. 2) Adam needs time to let Steph’s revelation to sink in. Lesley’s phone service has been cut off. Jamie’s back at the cafe with ideas which Viv won’t consider. Fine, Jamie will just open a mobile cafe! Edna receives a wedding invitation from granddaughter Eve!

08-Nov: 09-Apr-2006 (4331), 10-Apr-2006 (4332)

1) Leslie uses Rodney’s credit card she finds to pay her phone bill before cutting it up to avoid further temptation. Both Lesley and Pearl are barely scrimping by as is Dawn with Jo not paying full rent. Adam is horrified that Terence apparently knows the truth about his past! 2) A repayment letter to Dawn devastates her. Seeing Scott with a brand new car has Dawn trashing it. An incriminating newspaper article sent by Terence has Adam ready to flee the country! Lesley seeks employment with the Kings. Hari moves into the village.

Andy right off attacks Robert at the garage over his cheating on Katie. Daz brings Katie to the garage to help with the situation. With Katie there, Andy tells her about Robert and Sadie but Robert denies, denies, denies! Satisfied that Daz was telling the truth about Robert, Katie winds up in the pub where she confronts Sadie with all looking on… Note: Gifs for this episode in general will be posted separately.

Oh, so Robert left you holding the baby did he? Typical.

Dawn puts her foot down with Scott… he start teaching her to drive that afternoon… which also means Robert is left holding the baby literally 😂. When Katie shows up to talk to Dawn at her home, she winds up looking after TJ when Robert has a callout for a tow. After Dawn and Scott finally get home, Katie asks Dawn to help her learn bookkeeping as she is clueless with the King accounting. Robert comes across a maudlin Sadie and offers an ear or whatever she might want as he does care.

I say his damaged by all people who suppose to love and trust let him down both his parents had affairs that ultimately ruined the family and he constantly passed over in favour of someone esp Andy the friend he helped who killed the woman he saw as his mum, and also pretty much screwed him over, yet he always the victim when Robert reacted. his own dad screwed him over and favoured andy over him constantly excusing all andy did while being harsh on him and even disowning him while andy usurped his place in the family and never cringed. his first gf say did humiliate him, he used and spat out by Nicola, I wonder if all these events shaped how he treated people. Katie strung him along, married Andy, she did choose Robert but then quick to believe Andy and jump back into bed with him, she also forgave Andy for all stuff he did and go back to him while looking down on Robert. Sadie used him too. Donna also used to bully him so (this might make me sound evil but it part reason had no sympathy for how Robert treated her plus how many times he treated her like crap to go back to him) Chrissie then dumped him and started seeing Andy. Liv come along when finally got with Aaron, then Bex come along causing trouble and playing the victim. Even Aaron in the end chose Ben over Robert. I agree having friends like Syd and Scott was hardly good influence on him. Diane also had gall to berate him when he trying help Andy and even brang up Sarah the woman Andy killed. frankly robert owed andy nothing imo but been gaslighted by everyone in thinking he owed andy something and that he was the bad un and andy the saint who could do no wrong even when did they had some excuse for him and robert just the whiny, jealous brat when point stuff out about how he treated by his own family and passed over by the guy who he brang into the family then we have andy who laps up the attention and refuses treat robert like an equal after he HELPED him. sorry just can't stand andy.

Andy arrived at a time when Robert needed someone to hang out with and got attached to him quite quickly. They played up the broken family background angle with Andy to get sympathy for him and, in a way, he needed someone as well. But by the time Andy was about to be adopted by Jack and Sarah, Robert was already seeing the negatives with him but still came through for him anyway. During Christopher!Robert’s time, his parents disappointed him, Richie as well as Andy (his taking up with Cain to do dodgy stuff, the lying, bullying) but he dealt with it the best he could until he found out about the barn fire triggering that drastic head transplant change. He did have Annie, Kathie and Angie Reynolds was also sympathetic to him but they were gone in the end.

When Karl!Robert arrived, that’s when the hits kept on coming to turn him into a bad boy in record time. Nicola was the last straw in the trust department and anything after that influenced his persona from there on out including those he associated with. Even with Katie he probably held back a part of himself because of all the letdowns he faced. She saw a lot of the real Robert but not all of it. It was with Aaron he was able to be completely vulnerable with and drop the mask fully. Liv was just a boosted Andy 2.0 plot wise. You want Aaron, you gotta accept his little sister which will be his first priority forevermore.

I do think Robert did want to subconsciously hurt Andy, I don't buy he got over things like Sarah and Jack appearing to favour Andy and being pushed out etc, I mean sure he tried hide the affair but in the end decided tell Andy and was kind of cruel with the whole she wants me not you. I do think part of it was about getting one over on Andy. That how it always felt to me. I do also think he took a real shine to her and fell for her. But i do also think it was wrapped up in his rivalry with Andy, it why he seduced Debbie afterwards again to get at Andy by using her to try and take Sarah from him. I do think his attractions to Sadie, Rebecca and Chrissie were about materialistic things. I think Aaron first person he fell for no motive, I think he was someone he did not really want to fall for. I personally think Aaron the only person who really stole his heart. others were about motives and he never was really himself with them truly. Katie obsession was weird as i think remember the actress insisting Katie had no feelings for Robert when Robert first come back but then suddenly she becomes obsessed to point she wrecks own marriage literally just after marrying andy again very bizarre. even before she come across as weirdly obsessed and bothered about robert moving back, sure he made a few digs and had nasty stuff in her rings but still felt ott. but then robert reacts to her trying out his affair, like ok robert should not be cheating and she had every right to expose his hypocrisy, but she ott about not caring who she hurt she literally was robert lol. i just find katie as hypocritical as robert as she cheated on andy with robert and caused part of their issues in first place

How could anyone get over losing their mum the way Sarah died and by the person he himself brought into his own family too (Diane and even Aaron bemoaned him for holding on to a teenage grudge and not keeping it in the past)?! But again, when Andy revealed he was behind Sarah’s death and not Jack as Robert suspected, the way the scene played out, Andy was out to hurt Robert both verbally with his words and by the way they attacked each other physically - Robert was the innocent in all of this!). It was harsh and cruel to say the least. Robert did try to move on in 2002 after finally letting it all out with his feelings about Sarah’s death and all to Jack and Andy with a truce of a sorts.

When Katie left (Andy playing a part in it), all that hurt from before came back strong. Now Jack was again putting more focus on Andy and that land that was next to Andy’s. There was the check also to Andy to help him out and Katie writing to Andy and nothing to Robert. Everything was once again churning toward the tearaway he brought into the family so we returned to the revenge angle… getting back at Andy where it hurt… through those he was involved with. Libby was a wash. Debbie, the mum of his child that he apparently fell out of love, would be next in line.

I’ve already answered about Katie’s obsession previously. Sadie, Chrissie and the others all came from money and offered other things to Robert with Chrissie being the only one that matched his drive at that time to marry (they were too alike to last). Aaron had nothing yet he was the one that he was most attracted to in all facets and fell for hard for making Robert see (at least after his shooting) what the heart wants overrides all materialistic things he had with Chrissie and others.
