i saw *some* people saying that the dorym kiss seemed rushed and i wanted to say, i think it’s good that it was, narratively!!

you have to remember both dorian and orym have been pining for each other for YEARS. liam implied that with all of orym’s worries washing away during the kiss that orym has been ACHING to be able to kiss dorian. to feel that comfort and connection. and with dorian’s awkward reaction??? but quickly locking in at the end and kissing back??? they both wanted it. they both mutually were aching to kiss each other, some way, some how. in their circumstances it just … makes sense that it was rushed, because their entire relationship has been so built upon, so slowly burned.

so let them have this. let them have that fleeting moment of bliss.
