Katie & Travis QnA Rundown (Assumptions Edition)

They had people submit assumptions and addressed them:

"Travis would go on tour but he's too lazy"

Katie said she has never heard Travis be called lazy.

Touring would be too much to leave Katie and kids. He would consider it when they are older.

He does enjoy just singing at churches on weekends.

"In another life what would you have chosen for a career other than being a mom"

Nurse

She did cosmetology school instead. It is one of her biggest regrets that she did not do nursing school. Travis would have liked that.

She might pursue this when the kids are little.

Question: any big trips this year?

They have a Disney cruise trip in a couple of weeks.

"Neither of you have tried alcohol"

Katie did accidentally. Kelly was there and accidentally did too. They will be covering this in their Podcast with Carlin and Evan.

Travis has never.

Question: What does Katie think about wearing skirts growing up and how she was raised in general?

The skirts and dresses never seemed crazy to her growing up. She never wishes she would've gotten to wear pants earlier. Travis also grew up in a skirt/dress only family.

She will still wear a skirt or dress in front of her parents and Travis' family. She is not wearing pants in a rebellious way. They both love their parents and childhood.

Travis said Kelly and Gil and have done well with accepting their kids standards as they get married.

Travis and Katie appreciated their sheltering as children.

Question: How did ya'll knew the other one was the one?

Within a month Travis said "I love you". He knew quickly she was the one. Katie did not say it back and it took her longer to figure it out. It was a smooth relationship without red flags and both families were on board.

Question: Did you enjoy filming for the show and was it awkward to film while dating?

Katie saw it as very normal. It was never weird because they loved the crew.

Travis did feel a bit of pressure. He started filming 4 months into talking. It was awkward meeting families on camera.

A producer wanted Travis to say "I love you" on camera for the first time at a scenic spot. He said no because it would have been too awkward and they would have started laughing.

They thought it was fun and there were perks. She can't wait to show Hailey one day.

Question: any thought on baby #3?

Harvey is still a 5 month old baby so they are not in a baby #3 mindset.

They want an age gap between the next one especially due to Katie's pregnancy sickness.

Baby #3 will have an H name.
