Thinking about Helluva Boss again and god I’m so fucking mad because Ozzie’s was basically just calling out Stolas for his shit (and I don’t think I even have to mention the ending where Blitz stands up to him) and then it was just never brought up again. And then the rest of the series was just reaching for excuses and retcons to make you feel bad for Stolas. Like no I think we should kill this guy with hammers

oughhhh I wish my thoughts about the au weren't so incoherent 99% of the time so that I could talk about it more

it's just so... the sheer size of the world is so much bigger than the smp. this world has billions of people. yet here they are, c!dream and c!wilbur, in some random town in utah. they're the only familiar face in this giant world. (technically there are other members of the smp in this world, but it's not like c!dream and c!wilbur know this).

they don't really talk about their shared history, but it still inhabits the space around them. c!wilbur wakes to cold sheets every morning, but it doesn't change the fact that c!dream sleeps in the same bed as him every night. c!wilbur hated the fact that there was such a blatant reminder of the smp in his house. he hated when c!dream left for a week. c!dream didn't initially want to stay with c!wilbur. but, as far as he knows, there's not another familiar face in this whole entire world.

c!wilbur is in therapy by time c!dream arrives. it takes months for him to even bring up the mere idea of c!dream trying therapy. they start leaning on each other. they start caring about each other. c!wilbur hates himself for how much he wants c!dream. c!dream just wants c!wilbur to wash away the pain he doesn't admit is there. c!wilbur is practically drowning in guilt when he looks at what c!dream's become. a part of c!dream resents c!wilbur. a part of c!wilbur resents c!dream. they don't talk about it until they do. eventually, eventually they try couple's group therapy.

things get better. then they get worse. and then they get so much better.

at some point, much later, c!dream looks at c!wilbur—once again complaining about the people who don't know how to use the traffic circle even though c!wilbur can't even drive—and he thinks, I love you. at some point, c!wilbur looks at c!dream—sweat causing his hair to stick to his forehead, swollen lips tugged into a smirk—and he thinks, I love you.

they want each other—they crave each other—and c!wilbur hates himself for it. then they care about each other, and it makes c!dream want to snarl and bare his teeth. then they love each other, and they realize that they love this soft, domestic epilogue that they stumbled into years ago.

it gets better. they heal. they don't talk about everything until they do, and then those hurts get better, too. and some days it still feels like they don't really deserve this peace they've found, but they love it anyway.

and they have friends. friends who give them christmas gifts and invite them to new year's parties. friends who laugh with them and bring them baked goods.

eventually they stumble across more people from the smp. it's not fine until it is. which is kinda the big thing with this au. it eventually gets better.

Did we all recover from this race yet? Who would have thought Miami would bring such an amazing race!

For the third time in the last 2! years, we have a non-Red Bull race winner!

So let's focus on the race-winning team of this week 🏁

McLaren came into the Miami GP race weekend with new upgrades to the car, and both drivers have been reporting all weekend that the car feels great. This immediately became clear in the race, with Oscar going from P6 to P3 in turn 1. Lando's first stint was held up by being stuck behind Perez, but at the end of this stint, he had the fastest pace on the grid.

The second stint was more in favour of Norris. He could continue on his medium tires while everyone ahead pitted and then got a free pitstop under the Safety Car. He got out of the pits before Verstappen on fresh hard tires and managed to ace the restart to stay ahead for the last stint of the race.

During this last stint, Oscar became an unfortunate victim of a racing incident with Sainz and was send to the back of the grid following damage to his front wing. He managed to climb back to 13th, just outside the points. Lando's final stint was flawless. He was able to keep Verstappen behind him at the restart and with fresh tires and clean air pulled away to his first win 🎉

A fantastic weekend for the McLaren team and fans and not an easy one to forget 🧡

So yeah, Lando Now Wins 😉🔥

Claude Montana, "Dream Maker"

(29 June 1947 – 23 February 2024)

Claude Montana began his career in London with a jewelry line that was instantly noticed by the professional press. When he returned to Paris in the late 60s, he joined John Voigt's team at Mac Douglas, where he learned leatherwork, which he would later democratize through his own collections.

In 1975, he presented his first fashion show, to international acclaim. He launched his own House in 1979, assisted by his sister Jacqueline, and joined the Official Calendar of Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall-Winter 1981/1992, in April 1981. In 1989, he became artistic director of Lanvin, where he successfully experimented with Haute Couture.

During his time there, he was awarded two Dés d'or for the Autumn-Winter 1990-1991 and Spring-Summer 1991 collections.

After leaving Lanvin, he launches a new ready-to-wear line, Odyssée. Claude Montana was promoted to Commandeur dans l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres in July 2014.

Claude Montana leaves an indelible legacy in the fashion industry, his singular style still inspiring many contemporary designers.

With his unique vision and boundless approach he created his own vocabulary of fashion that continues to live on today; inspiring contemporary designers such as Alexander McQueen – who cited Montana in many of his collections – and most recently Montana’s influences can be seen in the sumptuous proportions of Tom Ford’s debut women’s wear collection.

As power dressing makes a return to the catwalk, it is Montana’s 1980s designs that create the basis for Stella McCartney’s autumn/winter 2011 voluminous silhouette, Balmain’s pointed and padded shoulders and Martin Margiela’s exaggerated angles.

Your work will forever be timeless and legendary.
