I am aware this one took me a long time to get out, my motivation is a fickle beast and work has been busy, but it's done now.

Quick Disclaimer, if any of the images look weird, it's because I had to stitch a few separate images together to create a full body shot of the character.

Gen 1 - ~13 feet (TFWiki, fucking love having to put no effort in.)

Bayverse - 15 feet (TFWiki, again, no effort, fuckin love it.)

One V1 - ~16 feet (Okay, so this movie doesn't have any actual numbers, aside for some bullshit ones from a Walmart Promotional. I've been using the Knightverse Optimus number as a baseline since these were at one point said to be vaguely canon to each other. And the Bumblebee-Optimus scaling is the same. Jazz is like the only side character in this whole thing who we got their character model for. None of my other ones look half as good as this. I measured him against Optimus, I forgot to mention.)

Animated - 17 feet 7 inches (This number actually comes from @phoenix-inanis and the glorious calculations they have done on the TFA Characters. One V2 - ~18 feet (Same reasons as before, no source, but my method of "knocking off or adding two feet" has been pretty accurate so far (I got Bumblebee right), so I'm just going to keep doing it.)

Aligned Cont. WF/FOC/RID15 - 21 feet (No true source, but he's the same size as RID15 Bumblebee, who's 21 feet tall. And his WFC/FOC model is about that same height compared to Optimus, so I went with it.)

...That's it, I'm not even kidding. Jazz only shows up with a character model like 6 times. It's a fucking travesty, I tell you.

I feel like this is the day when I finally introduce more Jazz in my au!

Basically his story looks like this: Jazz in my au was really close to Optimus (like he was his very close friend, besides of Megatron), before and after he became a Prime. He was even caring for Arcee and Bee when they were sparklings and nor Optimus, neither Ratchet were available. Like he was really close to them, basically he was like he has a role of being your father bff, so he lives with you, and your other dad is sometimes irritated by him anddddd OP told you to call him an uncle XDD

But when Optimus initiated evacuation from Cybertron (at this time Arcee wasn't there anymore, like she was alive, but Arachnid had more fun with her rn XDD), and because Jazz wasn't around Prime during it, he did it with other ppl which are dead at this point like Hound, etc.

And all this years he was fighting in space with decepticons and never came on Earth.

Soooo after all this cycles, only he was left, and came back on Cybertron, fortunately he got a message of autobots winning the war, he hope to see his friend first time for long time, but he got on his funeral XDD

So after the war he came back to his work as a cop, and later he helps Arcee as her second hand, trying to kinda take care of her, because she is all the time overworked, and he kinda feels to take care of his favorite and only little niece :'3

Jazz X Gender Neutral! Reader

The humming melody of an engine fills the air with tranquility as I watch the passing luminous lights emitted by the city in the dimness of the night, a warm seat softly vibrating under me as if enveloping me to an embrace. I struggled to maintain my attention at the scene from the side window through heavy lidded eyes, my perception gradually blacking out as I surrender to the comfort of the void.

“Awe, don’t sleep on me now.” A teasing voice followed by a chuckle exited the car’s speakers. “I won’t. I was just thinking.” I denied groggily, a little flushed from almost falling asleep on the slightly too amused bot. “What are you thinking about?” Jazz’s tone shifted, still playful but laced with curiosity. I could almost feel the slight rumble of his engine matching the rhythm of his words.

I paused, biting my lip. "Ah you know, about everything.. and maybe about how far we’ve come.” The calming atmosphere surrounding me took me into thinking about matters involving these bots such as the one accompanying me here and now. “Can I ask you something, Jazz?”

The blue and white bot was always bursting with high spirits and effortlessly managing to fill any room he’s in with positive energy. As expected, he easily captured my full attention and despite being very alien, he had, over time, become intimately aware of my lifestyle without needing much guidance, as such, we had taken to regularly contacting and meeting whenever his duties allowed. During these encounters, I would inquisitively interview him about the Cybertronian world and its intricacies. He always answered my questions—though not without teasing me endlessly about my curiosity. However, I never had the opportunity to reveal to him the mysteries our own world harbors.

Jazz hummed. “Whatever keeps that frame of yours up and around.” I giggled lightly, his playful charm never failing to brighten the mood. “It’s nothing serious. Just… thinking about how different things would be if you hadn’t shown up in my life.”

His engine rumbled gently, almost as if in response to my words. “Yeah? You think I’ve made that much of a difference?” There was something deeper behind his tone now, a hint of genuine curiosity mixed with his usual easygoing manner.

I glanced out the window, the city lights blurring together in a soft haze as we cruised through the night. “You and your kind… you’ve made everything feel larger than life. Every day feels like there’s more to discover, more to understand. And yet, I’ve never really told you much about my world, have I?”

A brief silence followed, broken only by the rhythmic whir of the road beneath us. Jazz’s voice came through, softer this time. “Nah, you’ve been pretty tight-lipped about it. But that’s okay. I figure you’ll share when you’re ready.”

I bit my lip again, considering his words. He was right—I had always kept him in the dark about the intricacies of Earth, our struggles, our stories. Maybe it was because, deep down, I felt like our world was too small compared to his. But now, with him beside me, maybe it was time to change that.

“Well,” I began, heart racing a little, “maybe it’s time I start telling you some things. About us. About me.” Jazz’s engine purred, his curiosity palpable even through the subtle vibrations of the car. “I’m all ears.”

“There’s so much to say, every time we talk about your world, it seems like it’s not much different than ours in many aspects; in the way that your social and cultural structures variant.”  I had been staring at the view through the window while reflecting on our similarities. “Despite our differences in several other things, I feel more connected to you than I have with anyone else.” There was a moment of quietness inside the car. “Is that so, kiddo? Well, I can’t blame ya, I just got that knack of turning anything I touch into a fine thing.” A purring voice left the car’s cabin trembling slightly under me, my heart skipping for a second.

I chuckled, a little embarrassed but not surprised by the effect he had on me. “Yeah, I’ve noticed.” I replied, half-joking, but my voice was more serious than I intended.

Jazz’s engine purred again, almost like a quiet laugh. “Ain’t gotta be shy about it. We’ve been through a lot together, haven’t we?”

“Yeah, we have,” I said softly, the weight of those words sinking in. I leaned my head back against the seat, letting the soothing vibrations of the car lull me into a peaceful haze. “I guess I’ve just been afraid of saying too much. Of showing too much.” Jazz let out a low hum, almost as if he was mulling over my words. “You don’t have to worry about that with me, kiddo. You can lay it all out. I’m listening.”

I smiled to myself, comforted by his words. “Maybe that’s exactly what I needed to hear.”

What if I told you all that I’m working on a big project. A writing project. A story about Jazz and Prowl having to work together and going through their divorce arc and then getting back together eventually through bonding by searching for their sorta-kinda adopted kid and discovering old government secrets and having to fix them. And that it takes place after Transformers: Prime and RiD15? And that the plot is really thought out and it’s going to be epic?? Would anyone read that self-indulgent story?? Because I want Jazz and Prowl to argue like an old married couple.

Oh I'm so glad to see someone else who thinks that Hashtag should have had cassettes! For a new transformers race, I feel like the first ones should be different from each other, a group of unique individuals. They're kids for now, but one day they'll be known as the first Terrans, they should all be memorable.

Like if we threw in medic servos being a thing, we could have the first Terran medic. Actually we don't even need that, we just need any one of the Terran kids wanting to heal instead of fight. It would still be relatable to a lot of children since not everyone wants to get in on the action.

The only thing I can think of right now are Twitch and Thrash being the first two, then JB being the first dinobot and Nightshade having an animal for an altmode. (Ignoring the fact that he scanned a statue and not an actual organic. Actually, I guess he could be the first scientist)

Hashtag having cassettes would be the thing that makes her stand out from her siblings, especially if the quintessons invade and she becomes similar to Soundwave, hacking into their databases and spying on them. (Probably not the best comparison, she'd need some sort of character arc before I can actually see that happening. Which could be what the cassettes are for: learning the responsibility that comes with adopting pets. And just imagine the cute companions she could get! Or little sibling figures, if they're like Rumble.)

EarthSpark is a frustrating experience with interesting ideas but lack of interest to make them work as you’d think they should.

A medic seems like an obvious choice to better explain Terranit biology and how it differs from Cybertronian born Transformer biology. You could transplant Medix into a Terran, with his RBA personality but his G1/RB body type.

It would also be a better use of Ratchet, as he could bond with Medix and together with their applied knowledge better understand the Terrans and Cyber Sleeves.

In fairness to Nightshade, Scanning an object related to an animal or vehicle is something older stuff did before. Galaxy Force in particular shows Transformers can Scan pictures of cars or animal statues to gain the data necessary to Transform. Beast Wars era Transformers can Scan fossils and recreate the animal to Transform into it like Megatron, Terrorsaur, and Dinobot. Jawbreaker doing that is likely a reference to this.

Still this goes back to the medic idea, where Medix realizes Terrans might have a more advanced Scanning system that allows them to better adapt than regular Transformers.

Also I feel like Blaster and/or Jazz would be a much better fit as mentor to Hashtag. Both are already enamored by Earth culture and Jazz mentored Sideswipe in RiD15, so it’s not unheard of.

I don’t trust the old writers to make Decepticons into mentors because as we’ve seen they don’t seem interested in picking Decepticons better suited for that, vs forcing the popular ones in the role. It’d be much more fitting to have a well meaning Decepticon that isn’t Starscream or Soundwave give bad advice that the Terrans have to struggle to figure out with the Maltos and Bee. Like say IDW Flatline was another medic that Medix mentored under, but his advice and skills are considered ghoulish by Ratchet, but Medix is able to hybridize Flatline and Ratchet’s skills into something that helps the Terrans and Autobots.

The pet analogy fits pretty well as the cassettes I had in mind would be based on CatDog and Reptar.

I am begging fanfic writers to please spend at least 5 minutes listening to how Jazz actually speaks before spelling out an accent.

Here! This video is a compilation of him in G1, TFA, and RID15.

His speech pattern doesn't generally have much of an "accent" to bother spelling out and... We could all perhaps think twice about overdramatizing the way a character who always has a black VA speaks (before someone says it, this is clearly about English language Jazz, not foreign language Jazz. If someone is writing Jazz in English, they need to follow English language Jazz rules).

Nothing makes me question how much I really want to read a fic more than someone typing Jazz speaking like "Ah though' ya didn' wan' ta talk ta meh". That's not how he talks, it's awkward to read, and it's not good writing.

RID15 circus au(circus rivalry)

So, for this au Steeljaw's pack would have like a creepypasta/ creature feature circus deal going. Bee team genuinely wants the public to be happy, so a standard circus that the people love. (THIS IS ALL BASED OF A HUMAN FANTASY AU)

Bumblebee would have the wings of a wasp, with two more sets of small eyes and horns like his g1 self. Strongarm is a German Shepherd (anthropomorphic), Grimlock is a dinosaur hybrid, Drift and Jetstorm are oni, Slipstream is a human and Dragon born(lung), Sideswipe is a centaur yearling, Fixit is a serpent)

Steel jaw and Bumblebee are the ring masters, obv. Steel jaw would be very good at hypnotizing children with his voice.

Strongarm is a strongman, reference to that one episode where Fixit watches her lift something of a hundred or a few.

Sideswipe is the stunt man, another reference to where Jazz comes in and he talks about the biker gang jackets on TV. It's also just a very brash very sideswipe thing to do.

Grimlock is the clown, he's definitely clumsy enough and everyone can get a crack out of it.

Fixit was gonna be a clown, but I made him a magician. He's a tech wizard in the series, now he's just a wizard. Makes sense to me.

Drift is a tightrope walker. He would spin some sword tricks and do some skill stuff on the rope cause he just got that skill.

Slip+Jet are trapeze artists. They be fliers at spark, they'd make a good duo in both standard trapeze and flying.

Steeljaw's pack: (NOTE: Thunderhoof would be a centaur, Fracture would be a creature with spines on his back, a long whip like tail, and sharp teeth/claws. The rest would pretty much be furries with Rottweiler Underbite)

Thunderhoof is the circus horse(read bottom⏬) I could see him with lights and streamers prancing around with Fracture trick riding on his back.

Fracture is the jester. He would be like candy pop more like, with the black lines on the eye. He's hothic, don't even argue with that. He's also we'll equipped, with colorful fire, tricks, and such.

Divebomb + Airazor are the lion/tiger doing the hoops. Airazor is a spider, ik, but could still have the fuzzy neck thing and jump hoops with his cat friend.

Underbite is the muscleman. Pretty self explanatory, or a sword swallower. Idk what to do with the fact that he eats a lot so he could do both? I don't know.

Springload is tumbling. He's sticky, he's got the long ass legs. He'd have the little red hatter top hat with Quillfire, who he would also have throw quills at him on a roulette wheel.

And quillfire is knife throwing. He'd volunteer people from the audience, or Springload. He'd use his quills for sure, and sometimes throw them at Thunderhoof to have him dodge them.

Honorable mentions: (Raker would be a being with beetle wings, horns, and animalistic legs.Clipshade is a Rottweiler (anthro) and Windblade is a Griffin born meaning she's half Griffin)

Shadow Raker would be a human fly. (Dancers commonly at a brothel who would dance upside down on the roof) He is also skilled in several stunts such as trapeze and tightrope, which he has taught to Slip, Jet, and Drift.

Clipshade would be a clown, if you've ever read the comics. Or a mime.

Windblade would be a silk aerialist. I don't think I have to explain that much.
