I think it’s worth noting that just because Prowl is good at perceiving and calculating the movements of up to 800 objects (read: inanimate, non-alive things) at once, that absolutely doesn’t make him good at perceiving and calculating the movements of up to 800 beings… Which, unlike objects, can move of their own accord, make their own decisions, are often whimsical and unpredictable, etc… That’s probably why he made such a mess of everything.
