Got back into pencil art earlier latest year -- I think I might have been hyped for Sonic 3, but either way, I indulged in drawing my and Jinkz’s SANIC OCs, including a few new ones!

More of the lemur sibs Chester and Rachel will be shared in a later post, but this was my first dive into creating their Sonic-style looks. There’s also some RickiYoko, SolRosco, Reese, and-- what the hell is Set doing there..

Adalyia

Adalyia is the leader of the Outcasts. Why? Because she's the only one willing to step up to the plate. Adalyia is strong willed and determined, a good leader, and a kind person. She sincerely wants every single one of her crew to make it through this alive, and would really appreciate it if they would all get with the program.

Devin

Devin is everyone's favorite asshole. A smart alec and a know-it-all, Devin always is willing to be the naysayer and pointer outer of bad ideas, without taking any responsibility for figuring out any good ideas on his own. Devin works hard to make sure everyone sees him as a cold jackass but, nobody's that shallow, right?

Niko

The actual smartest person in the room. Niko is practical and willing to do whatever it takes to get them through this alive. She's cold as can be and isn't afraid of making sacrificies for the greater good. Her loyalty to Adalyia is admireable and her brain is something to be feared. She will figure out how to win this game and the others would be fools not to listen to her.

Jake

Our kind-hearted muscle boy. Jake is a lot of things, but stalwart and true are some of the most apt descriptions. Jake has a good heart and a sound conscience, but is prone to allowing other people to push him around. He unfortunately sees his tendency toward kindness as a weakness, and tries to hide it as much as he can. He sees the good in people and will automatically try to include them. He's definitely the heart of their little group, and deserves more recognition for it.

Ricki

Our sweet, summer, problem child. Ricki is the youngest of the group and the one with the most complaints. The others seem to be pretty willing to just sit around and see how things play out, but Ricki cannot bring herself to sit around. She's not exactly known for being a team player, and is willing and eager to head off on her own. But in this world, being on your own isn't going to win you any points, and their lives are depending on her figuring that out.
