At first, he’s shocked. Like, the man’s teleporting back and forth from the fridge to the couch, pacing, completely losing it. But the second it finally sinks in? He’s wrapped around your finger, doing everything to make sure you’re okay. He'd jump (literally teleport) to the best prenatal specialists in the world, shower you with every craving you could possibly have, and probably whisper to your belly at night when he thinks you’re asleep.

During the pregnancy, David would not let you lift a finger. You’d get frustrated at times because he’d be so overprotective, teleporting you away from even minor inconveniences like a long line at the grocery store. "I’m not letting you stress, okay? You’re carrying my baby, for God’s sake."

When the baby’s born, he's DONE FOR. That baby is his whole world. He’d teleport the two of you out of storms, away from any much dangerous germs or viruses, to Paris (or literally any other place you'd like) for a quick lunch just because. And he’d constantly stare at the baby like they’re the eighth wonder of the world. “How the hell did we make something so perfect?” he'd also sometimes gently poke at the baby's body, just to make sure it's really true.

David’s the type to wake up in the middle of the night without complaint, teleporting bottles or diapers to your hand like a freaking magician. He’s also the parent who’ll teach your kid to teleport the second they show any signs of inheriting his ability, which may or may not result in the toddler vanishing during hide-and-seek games.

He’d be the fun dad who bends all the rules for his kid yet still manages to melt your heart every time you see him holding them, babbling nonsense and looking utterly smitten :)

ngl kind of curious as to why zixuan is the only worker at this cafe who cooks, like not even Yanli's items are said to be made by her but his carrot cake is explicitly made by him. Are they warning me that rich boy probably left eggshells in the batter, or is Zixuan trying to impress Yanli by becoming a genuinely good baker?

The fact that his best is not very good will not stop his one (1) piece of carrot cake from costing 800 yen, the same as all the other food offerings, including his half-brother's entire lunchbox and his brother-in-law's own baked good offering that also includes ice cream. Zixuan's is made with LOVE, okay!
