one of the most fucked up things about Yuri Limbus Company is that "Yuri" is on the list of random names that can be generated for your employees in Lobotomy Corporation. the first nugget the game handed me was named Yuri, in fact

and then there's her bright red-pink hair. the majority of people in the city have neutral/natural colored hair, save for some exceptions (and of those exceptions, several of them were the sephirot, which have a whole color coordinated thing going that I'm not really sure I understand the workings of, and then there are some like Alfonso and Ricardo who both care a lot about their appearances). of those that do have bright and unnatural hair, most of them aren't concrete characters at all, instead being the randomly generated nuggets that show up in both LobCorp and Ruina. her hair seems distinctive, but to someone who's played those prior games, Yuri's name and hair mark her as just another person to get tossed in the meat grinder.

i think Ishmael fits Korsica the most for sure. basically no competition here.

Peppermint is a genius with a sorta sad backstory, but i don't see any other similarities between her and Yi Sang/Faust. Sinclair is a viable alternative if you don't need the technological prodigy trait to be the thing that connects the characters (also, a version of Sinclair who was augmented by his mother because he lost his leg in an accident would be pretty interesting)

Macaron... i'm stumped. i would say Sinclair, but i've already used him... and the vibe is just not there. i can't think of any other reluctant fighters in Limbus Company who would match Macaron. maybe Dongrang if he wasn't a dick (so if he wasn't Dongrang. it only works if you erase everything except the animal lover 'pacifist' part of Dongrang)

Hong Lu would be CNMN even if him acting similar to the funny robot is just a facade. i just find the idea funny

The palace of Velarde, also called the palace de las arenas, is a building located in the Plaza de las Arenas in Santillana del Mar (Cantabria, Spain). It was completed in the mid-sixteenth century for Alonso de Velarde.

Its architecture is from the first Renaissance. It has rhythmic windows and a pinnacle crowning. The main room is lined with a plinth decorated with Plateresque motifs.

It was built in the sixteenth century by Alonso Velarde, scion of a powerful local lineage. He was the younger brother of Rodrigo Fernández Velarde, who built the house of the Canton in the same town, and son of another Rodrigo or Ruy Fernández Velarde and María Fernández de Villa, patrons of the chapel of San Juan de la Colegiata, which they testified in 1528. The palace succeeded each other in the lineage of Velarde and remained in his descendants until the early twentieth century. The last hereditary owner was María García de la Llata, that in 1915 he sold it to the writer Ricardo León. Then it was bought by Fernando de la Cerda, Duke of Parcent, who undertook a vast rehabilitation. The duke died childless and inherited the palace his widow, Trinidad von Scholtz Hermensdorff, a noted patron and art collector. The Duchess left as heir her daughter from a previous marriage: Piedad de Yturbe, Marchioness of Belvís de las Navas, and from this there was the palace her son Prince Alfonso de Hohenlohe, who died in 2003. In 2008 it was put up for sale by the famous Yale University doctor, Francisco Guerra.

Ivanov Seniors Graduate!

Ivanov Seniors experienced a bittersweet day today, even more so than any usual High School Graduation, as over the celebrations and festivities hung a black cloud of doom.

After the conference officially announcing that the Empire was at war with Windenburg, all foreign students were immediately sent back to their respective countries and families- except for the graduating seniors, who were allowed to stay a few more weeks in order to complete their courses and celebrate this momentous milestone.

Lady Josephine Arrington celebrated her big day with her parents, Princess Natasha and Jamie Arrington, Duke and Duchess Eastmeadow, and her younger brothers, Theodore, Marquess Branmar, and Christopher, Earl Maymour. Lady Josephine will be continuing her education at Britechester University where she plans to major in Ballet Performance, and one day transfer to the Royal Ballet Academy and follow in her parents' footsteps.

Miss Wren Hathaway was joined by her mother, Megan Ivanov, Duchess Arnsey, her step-father, Prince Nickolai Ivanov, her step-sister, Princess Victoria Yang, and her husband, Lord Louis Yang. Miss Hathaway will be joining her friend and cousin, Lady Josephine, at Britechester University, where she will be studying pre-med, in the hopes of also following in her mother's footsteps and one day becoming a pediatrician.

Crown Princess Claude will be joining Lady Josephine and Miss Hathaway at Britechester University, where she plans to double major in Foreign Languages and World History.

His Lordship, Viscount Beckham Landgraab, walked across the stage in front of his parents, Princess Carolin and Soren Landgraab, Duke and Duchess Clovervale, and his older sister, Lady Brianne. The Viscount is choosing to defer his collegiate experience until after the war and instead has volunteered for the Oasis Springs Military Service. After the war, he plans to attend "whatever school Malie ends up at" but wherever he goes, he'd like to study Music Performance.

Princess Malie celebrated her culture by wearing a Sulani Lei as she walked across the stage, in honor of her mother, grandmother, and younger sister who could not be at her graduation. Sulani is one of the island nations in the Southern Sea currently being occupied by Windenburgian Naval Forces. But Malie did not celebrate alone. She was able to be joined by her paternal Aunt and Uncle, Queen Misha and King Cesare Colona, and grandfather, Prince Widower Alfonso Colona, all three of whom currently reside in Glimmerbrooke. Princess Malie will be continuing her education at Britechester University for the duration of the war, then plans to transfer to the Chieftain's International University in Sulani when she's able to. She hopes to double major in Sulani History and Mythology, and Sports Medicine.

The guy right here in the image is Ricardo Alfonso Cerna (1959 - dec 19 2003) in a police station due to the police stopping him because of a traffic violation the police stopped him but he got out of the car and shot one of them two times in the abdomen the policeman survived and they arrested Cerna and while they left him alone in the room alone he got out a gun from his pants and shot himself in the head the police came in shocked not knowing where he got it from.

One possible motive he could have done this is because he probably didn’t want life sentence

Como todos los años, el Velero-Escuela “Cuauhtémoc” fondea en el muelle de la zona naval del puerto, donde los jóvenes marinos son esperados ansiosamente por familiares y amistades, en un ambiente de algarabía y felicidad. “El Caballeros de los Mares”, como también se le conoce al famoso buque-escuela llegó a la base naval el día sábado 14, después de un largo “Viaje de Instrucción Tricontinental 2024”, por Estados Unidos de América, Japón, Corea del Sur, Singapur, Filipinas, Indonesia, Australia, Nueva Zelanda y Tahití, con la entusiasta participación de 259 tripulantes, 8 capitanes, 47 oficiales, 2 invitados de escuelas náuticas mercantes e invitados de las Armadas de Albania, Brasil, Guatemala y República Dominicana, así como 96 cadetes y 114 clases y marinería, de los cuales, por primera vez 50 fueron elementos femeninos. En total se navegaron 25 mil millas náuticas en 165 singladuras, todo el personal concluyó el Curso de Navegación a Vela y Maniobra en Buque de Vela, después de zarpar el 5 de mayo, en el 44 viaje de instrucción, navegando durante siete meses por 12 puertos y nueve países, surcando mares de América, Asia y Oceanía.
