Samjo, to his and your dismay, doesn't have alot of freetime.

More often than not he will be busy working since he is. you know. Working under a literal WING of all places what a nerd

So unfortunately you won't be having much time together, but if he ever catches any sort of free time, he makes sure to spend it with you

✦ Boo! (How do they feel about surprises, giving and receiving?)

I think he'd be delighted by them! it wouldn't show that much, but you can see see a glimmer in his eyes and the subtle interest in his voice that is not that subtle at all .

He is a very big surprise giver too I believe... from his antics I can tell he likes to catch people off guard and shock them. So I think he would very much enjoy doing the same to you albeit in a more loving way

Infact they may aswell be a love language of his

✧ Cuddling (How do they like to cuddle?)

He's really selective. Sometimes he insists on being big spoon, sometimes he insists on being small spoon

You're happy with either since you atleast get to spend time with your lover<3

In either position, he makes sure to hold you close. Sometimes you can't even breathe 😭 he definitely has some arm muscle since he wanted to be a baseballer once, and his throwing skills are impressive

Honestly I don't think he cares much ? Just as long as he's with you he will enjoy himself.

I can see you two hanging out at chicken places due to the k corp influence, and I think he would even be proud of it, since he works for the wing

But either way, he'd enjoy anything! even if it's just mundane stuff like cuddling.

Another thing I can imagine him liking is athletic dates. like doing some stuff that requires your body to put in some energy. Just because he changed career paths to a less sporty job doesn't mean he doesnt enjoy any activities surrounding it anymore 🙈🙈

✧ Emotions (How do they express emotion around you?)

He's a bit stoic and honestly not that expressive, but there's still emotion in his actions and his words, even if it isn't outright noticeable

The most important thing would be that he definitely smiles around you. Maybe not 24/7, but he definitely does !

His other emotions are not that visible though, even around you. But you can notice it more easily anyway, since you've been together with him for longer and would know when something is off or when something isnt (ie when hes frustrated, whether in an irritated or upset way) .

✦ Future (What are their plans tor for tuture? Do they see themselves getting married, having kids?)

Honestly, I don't think this is something he ever considered

Marriage doesn't seem like a topic that he would ever think about until one of his co-workers would ask him about it, and he would go "Oh yeah. Maybe" (externally) 'What a prick. Why didn't i think of that.' (internally)

I think he'd love the idea of marrying you! It's just a matter of when, and how, and if you have the funds, and who you would invite... Obviously mr. Dongrang is coming. Well either way there would be some things he would take a long time thinking about before proposing to you

Unsure about kids, I don't think he would want them; not because he doesn't want to be a father, but because he thinks he genuinely would just not have the time to be available for his children. He barely is for you, so the situation is even more dire if you put children into it

✧ Gratitude (How grateful are they, and how do they express it?)

He expresses his gratitude toward you with his love languages! Obviously.

Samjo is indeed a very grateful man, and you can observe it in his gestures . There's not much more to say

Loves holding your hand. He also likes kissing it

He doesn't really care about people seeing you both, most of the time he's showing you off even, but he'll never admit it.

"Morning, Mr. Dongrang. Is it alright if I show my s/o around the workplace?" "Are you sure it's not showing the workplace your s/o?" "Ahem. No? Why would you ask that?"

Either way, will hold your hand when and wherever you're comfortable

Not really worried about anything you get.

Infact, more worried about splinters or small cuts.

When that happens, it goes like: "Honey, it doesn't hurt, right? Do you need anything?" "Samjo, this is a paper cut."

On the other hand, when you have REALLY fatal injuries, he just goes: "Ah. Where are your limbs, sweetheart? ...Well, nevermind that. Here, let me help you." *injects your ass with some fuck ass k corp ampule

✦ Jokes (Do they like to joke around with or prank you how?)

Even before getting into a relationship with him, you noticed that Samjo is kind of sarcastic

Scratch that, hes REALLY sarcastic.

But heres the thing: he's the most sarcastic bitch you ever knew while being completely unaware of it.

Or is he pretending? You'll never know im afraid .

When you ask him if he's sarcastic on purpose he's all like "Hm? No. Why would I even try and attempt that?"

You still don't know if he meant his words or not. His ragebait tactics are truly unmatched and I fear you will be a reoccuring victim to them

Jokes from time to time, and they're either the weirdest/funniest jokes you've ever heard or they're something that make you get flustered like CRAZY

✧ Kisses (How do they like to kiss you?)

Even you didn't expect it, but he loves them. Will kiss you whenever he can 💁‍♀️

"Goodnight, love" *smooch*

"I'm heading off, see you." *mwah*

As to HOW he likes to kiss you, forehead kisses are probably his favourite. He finds them efficient and cute, quick and easy

Also likes french kissing you but thats when you both actually have time and are lying in bed together 🙏

MAY be the type of cheesy bitch to go "You taste sweeter than my lollipops." :skull

Words of affirmation and physical contact. Period.

He also loves doing acts of service and spending quality time with you, but the problem is time itself as mentioned

Like i said, surprising you in any way is also a love language! Could go any way, like with physical touch (ie. kisses or hugs), giving gifts, all that sort of stuff. maybe even jumpscaring you. maybe.

✧ Mornings (How are mornings spent with them?)

Samjo is very dedicated to his work, so if you're not a morning person, expect him to be gone by the time you wake up.

He always wakes up 1 hour before his worktime by heart, even if he fell asleep 10 minutes before it hits his worktime (how would that even work, you ask? heh. well. lets just say(suddenly a train flies by) wow did you see that i didnt know trains could take flight

When he wakes up and he sees how you're either lying beside him or in his arms, he'll either touch you faintly or kiss you depending on the position and on how how much of a light sleeper you are, and then he'll head straight off

If you wake up before him (impressive), i think he would converse abit with you before heading off. Ofcourse accompanied with a peck anywhere on your face, or with you giving him a peck anywhere on his face.

✦ Nightmares (What are their fears?)

I honestly dont think Samjo would concern himself with fears till he is in a situation where he should be afraid (although it's hard to see sometimes, but it's definitely there and its more noticeable in his behaviour)

For sure his "worst fears" would be losing you and his job. He has both of you in his life, and it could not look better for him. To lose both would be heartbreaking to say the least

If he lost you, his work etiquette may turn abit sloppy, and who knows when he would feel better?

If he lost his job, he wouldnt be able to provide for you and him

So its definitely both.

✧ Oddity (What is one quirk they have?)

I have a feeling Samjo is somehow very good at counting.

Like if you gave him any equation, he would be able to solve it in his head in seconds

Give him the most nefarious multiplication ever and he still somehow gets the summary correct .

✦ Pet names (What do they like to call you?)

Just standard pet names i think ! Stuff like sweetheart, honey and the usual stuff you hear partners call eachother

Though I think hes the type of person who would use pet names like "babe" and "baby" not as much. I don't know why he just doesn't give off dat vibe

Will also give you a nickname! Bonus points if you're annoyed /endearingly by it.

✧ Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

His memory is GOLDEN

Remembers everything you tell him. From you telling him that your cactus died 4 years ago to you telling him about how you dreamt that both of you were red necks waving white flags in space yesterday

Not just that, but will remember things you said then connect them

For example: He sees your room and will immediately take guesses on what your favourite color is, what animal is your favourite, etc.

And the guesses are ALWAYS correct

And if you ever asked him how he does it he'd definitely say "I just know, I guess" (hes smug about it fosho

✦ Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Showing you around K. Corp.

His favourite person? In his favourite workplace? The 2 things that saved his life? Yes please.

To your luck there weren't any breaches on the day he showed you around, and he even got allowed to show you a little of the things normal visitors usually aren't allowed to see

When he introduced you to Shrenne you two got along very well, even though you don't contact eachother privately or on the daily, you're still two good acquaintances

Dongrang loved you. He thinks it's funny how you managed to steal Samjo's heart (Samjo will be kind of stunned upon hearing that his boss thinks he can't love anyone romantically)

Dongrang also tells you about embarassing things he did in the worklplace, with Samjo denying or giving good reasoning for every single one of them

Nontheless, he loved that day, and it's definitely one of his favourite days ever.

Seeing you having fun and getting along with his co workers makes Samjo so happy that he smiled at home alot more than usual.

He even laughed with you when you both talked about your trip after arriving at home, so It was the most perfect day to him

✧ Security (Will they protect their S/O? How well? Does their S/O protect them?)

He's extremely and weirdly skilled at knocking out people, but other than that, he can't do much.

Also, REALLY good at humbling people. The best way he'll "protect you" is definitely by humilaiting whoever is making you uncomfortable or embarassing them so badly they just choose to leave

However if it is actual hand to hand combat or anything similar, you'd have to handle it. he would hide behind you in a discreet way

Will help you emotionally though. He's like a football player cheering you on while you fight bitches

✦ Time (How long did it take you to get together?)

Somewhere in the middle?

I feel like you and Samjo would know eachother before actively being together. Whether that be just seeing him on the same way to eachothers jobs, being coworkers, him being a regular at any shop you're working at etc.

Like, you would've seen eachother atleast once before

Well, that aside, it won't take him long to realize that he likes you. He'd be the one to confess, too

If he keeps thinking about you, he'll get distracted from work after all!

So it's either you and him being together so he doesn't have to think about "Will I see them today?" every single second - Or it's you rejecting him and him being abit sad but either way he wont really be distracted from work anymore

As smart as he is, he can't control his feelings, he's no Faust

✧ Unique (What's an unusual thing about them that's oddly charming?)

I'd say his way of words.

We all know Samjo talks in a really straightforward way that makes him come off as sassy, but in all honesty? It sort of has a charm to it .

One day both of you had the time to go shopping for new clothes (Samjo DESPERATELY needed some new pajamas and you just wanted .. well something. you choose. or you just accompany him)

later on you two were with an employee, them leading you to a certain clothing aisle that you were searching for but couldnt find and it. Would basically just go down like this:

"Huh... This is REALLY cute... What do you think, Samjeans?" you turned towards him, holding the fluffy sweater over your torso, to make it look like you're wearing it.

"Wouldn't fit you." Before he could answer, the employee, for no reason at all, interrupted him.

"Ex-" And another interruption has happened. This time, Samjo interrupted you. "Your barking doesn't fit your job." "Huh?" The employee said in surprise, even though they should have expected a comment getting thrown back at them. "If it actually doesn't fit, bring them a size that would. Or is that a task as hard to do as combing your hair?"

and the employee looked angry, then defeated, then turned around and left.

After you told him that you didn't know he was that mean, he told you that he just said what's on his mind

And THAT'S whats charming! in a way. you get the appeal right

✦ Value (How important is the relationship to them?)

He values it as much as his work.

If anybody would ask them to choose, he'd tell them that he literally just cant (he can and it might just lead a teeeeeensy bit toward you)

For Samjo, K corp saved his life physically, while you savid his life mentally, so he finds it unfair to choose between the 2.

While he admires Dongrang more, he definitely trusts and loves you more

So if you talked with him enough about any topic regarding K corp, while he wouldn't quit his job or anything, he'd take your word genuinely to heart

✧ Wild card (Random headcanon)

When Samjo feels like he isn't showing you his appreciation alot, he will be extra affectionate on whichever day this thought occurs

He'd hold you tighter in bed, kiss you more, and just generally say "I love you" more

If you questioned him he'd just say "Why? Can I not act lovingly, like a boyfriend should?"

Sometimes this behaviour concerns you.

Samjo realizes this, he's smart after all. He'll tell you the right words to calm you down and just genuinely talk about how he feels like hes not giving you enough, especially because you two don't get to spend time as much due to his work.

He hopes you understand and will still stay with him

✦ X-ray (How well are they able to read you?)

Oh REALLY well

He notices the slightest of face expression changes on you that could be gone in the blink of an eye

Is he just really observant and smart or is he just ridiculously inlove? Your choice.

Samjo can read you like an open book, and it scares you sometimes, especially because he himself is abit harder to read (although its easier for you than for other people)

✧ Yearn (How do they act when they miss you? Do they show it?)

He doesn't show it, but god does it tear him apart from the inside.

He yearns for you badly. As said before, Samjo doesn't see you often, so missing you is an occurence that happens pretty often. ESPECIALLY bad if its while hes working, which is the time it happens 99% of the time

So everytime he feels that way, he'd be more affectionate with you at home and maybe you two would take things abit further than just making out but you didnt hear it from me (matter of fact, you read it from me)ok whatever just pull the trigger bro i dont want to live anymore

✦ Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

I don't think he has any to be honest. He is the most normal sleeper ever

He clings onto you, snores lightly sometimes, maybe drools too if he sleeps with his mouth open (please close it if he does)...

Nothing odd about it I believe. I don't think he'd be the type to toss and turn around that much, either

But I have a feeling he is abit of a light sleeper! so careful with him while he's resting. He won't snap at you if you wake him up or anything, but nevertheless, he really needs the sleep

He would probably find out by you accidently letting it slip out during a conversation, you get the sudden intrusive thought to tell him or telling him you suffer from it during a rant session

If you accidently let it slip out, he'd let it be. although he definitely would second guess questioning you further about it, but it'd take awhile, since hes scared shitless of confrontation

So if you ever just told him it directly, he'd be way more relieved.

But now is the downside that he just dosen't know how to respond exactly ..

He read about personality disorders in his school once, and he has a very faint memory of what BPD is, but he still isn't sure how to respond.

In the end, he just goes "Oh." (not in a bad way) . and after a few seconds of trying to figure out what else to say to that, he asks if there's any triggers for you he should be aware of, and then that was it

He'd go looking into the disorder more, but besides that he won't really mention anything about it, because he thinks it's not a topic that should be brought up all the time

He probably would get overwhelmed if you ever had an episode. Again, he's not good with confrontation, and when he sees you breaking down infront of him whether that be from the inside or the outside he wouldn't know what to do

But it's you, so he'll try atleast

You can notice how tense and fidgety is, yet you can also notice how his stuttering voice is turning soft, and if you allow him to touch you, you can feel how careful he is with his movements

If you ever yelled at him he'd be scared to death, it's a natural reaction

He convinced himself he'd be prepared for the day you maybe would have a breakdown even before you told him you had bpd

Yet now that it's infront of him it's. Well. Another story.

Although Sinclair does get through it (forces himself to because he loves you that much), and attempts to talk with you and reassure your worries away

After something like this happens, he decides it might be best to question you directly on how your experience with the disorder is, since everybodys experience is different, and a simple book on the topic won't tell the story for everybody

It takes him abit of mental preparation to ask you, but he manages, and you comply, telling him how it is for you

He puts your words in mental (and physical) notes, and it shows from his actions that he now notices the smallest things that irk you

Aside from now him reminding you to take your medication once in awhile, nothing in the relationship would change that much

Sinclair is still the abit awkward and tense but darling man you love and care about, and you're still his affectionate and captivating s/o he holds dear

i dont have bpd (but i have another personality disorder lol) but i tried i hope its ok :heart: also apologies that this was so late HKPEL

I feel like Liu Ishmael specifically does like/use sarcasm but not to the point that it's someones whole personality in a way

As in 24/7, because she thinks it's insufficient for work when sarcastic comments are used all the time

I could imagine teasing her because of her loner lifestyle in the story

Sarcastic smart reader would definitley be on Ishmaels ass all the time, relationship established or not

Pre-established relationship would be tons of back and forth.

Problem is reader sees it as teasing (atleast on their side) but Ishmael genuinely wants to punch their guts and turn it into tommorows beef noodles

Ishmael is a smart person herself, but everytime reader corrects her on something (especially because they're being so painfully irritable about it) she wants to punt them.

If they're on the same branch it's #over

Rodion would see your relationship as some kinda old marriage trope, make comments about it etc and Ishmael hates her for it

but what she hates more is how lowkey true it is

Rodion hops in on the teasing just for fun when reader and Ishmael have their 'lovers quarrel' and Ishmael ALWAYS goes "STAY OUT OF THIS?!"

One is enough. She dosen't want to deal with two idiots.

Reader would join her sometimes when she has lunch and she hates to admit it but she tolerates their company (the toleration starts on day 4)

To the point where she'd miss them at times when they're not together

She still prefers to be alone, as she dosen't make an effort to get on a table with others even after her and reader share some lunch periods together. But everytime reader is in the room, she'd prefer to be with them instead of being alone

She thought of them as just a familar first, and tried to not get too close (keyword tried) as that could backfire quickly, especially in the City

But she realized her feelings rather early .

And as embarassed as she was, she didn't want to deny them

I could imagine Ishmael confessing first and reader being caught off guard for the first time .

Ishmael didn't have any intention of making them flustered, but she definitely wouldn't let go of it after

Now she has something to be an asshole about to YOU

You were recently promoted to south section 4, and ofcourse you heard the things you dubbed as 'rumours' about the director of the branch.

Now, not only did you think wrong, but you felt like he had something against you

Yes, you talked to him from time to time, and from the way he spoke with you and with others you gathered that he was a timid and nervous man

But it all just changed when he was lecturing people, moreso if he was in an ACTUAL duel

Seeing him in the 'training hall' trying to teach tricks and whatnot to his underlings, but ultimately he either accidently ends up being too hard on them or

Actually just that .

Frankly you were abit scared to train under him aswell

Sure, he did seem truly kind hearted ..

So why is it that whenever you felt a stare on you, you felt like you were having a fight to the death with the south section 1 fixers

Soon enough, it was your time to train with him! Yay!

He had his eye on you (very obviously) and was excited to have a friendly training session with you<3

But you were (also very obviously) scared and reluctant around him, sighing alot

Which made the maneven more nervous 😭😭

He's used to people being frightened while getting trained by him but he genuinely thought he was nice with you so far and that you two had something going

Did he do something wrong. Why are you scared. He dosen't mean to bite he swears

He tries to distract himself from the fact you might REALLY REALLY not like him by straying off course and teaching you random ass association battle tricks everyone should actually be aware of (even though suprisingly you learnt some new stuff)

He can't properly express his emotions, it's a thing he struggles with

"G-good day, [name]! How are you?" The child asked, looking at them with curiosity. "...Well, you know, same old, same old... Ha. Ha. Haha." Some thoughts suicide got into their head for a moment.

However, the child didn't seem to care. Infact, he was ecstatic at the answer he had been given. "That's good to hear..! Uhm, as you're new, I'll make sure to teach you alot." He said with a smile.

Yet again, he wasn't entirely stupid. He could tell that everyone he duelled against had always been in a state of distress, and this time was no different.

What was different was the fact that the child had a newfound determination of trying his best to make sure the same incident dosen't happen again.

He had been wanting to talk to the newly promoted fixer for awhile now. At times, he would think of trying to figure out what to say that would be a good enough excuse to approach them.

He did not find this excuse, and kept staring at them for a long period of time accidently, which in turn inevitably brought upon a wrong idea in the head of his person of interest.

Sure, he was awkward, but he tried, and he found this a good oppurtunity. The child didn't want to give up.

"Alright, so..." He started to raise his voice just a little bit, not wanting to come off as too uncertain. "First, it's important to know the right way to yield the sword, but I'm aware you know that..." He chuckled abit, trying to lighten up the mood. He was in thought for abit, then began speaking once more.

"'Disengagement' is a commonly used tactic, as it is also very effective if executed correctly. I assume you also know of that?" The child questioned and proceeded to draw his sword.

The other child, dubbed [name], nodded their head. "I do." Although, the voice suggested more of a 'I don't actually know, but please let me be.' tone rather than a 'I know, and you don't have to teach me.' tone.

"Well, I would still like to teach you it in a more proper way. As your new director!" A sigh came out of the newly promoted Fixer's mouth, which made the child awkwardly chuckle. "...Uhm..." He thought he might've done something wrong. Not just in the interaction happening right now, but also the several times he attempted to be friendly with his person of interest, who now looked completely done and unnerved infront of him. Yet he couldn't focus on that right now. "Alright, let me demonstrate --"

The childs underling looked abit more stressed after he uttered those words, but they drew their sword aswell regardless.

The child proceeded to instruct his trainee.

It was obvious that both of them were in completely different physical spaces.

"'Pistol Grip', [name]." "Like this?" "N... No. Wait, let me -" "Ouch." "- Sorry!"

What was also kind of obvious was that they were in completely different mental spaces.

'Oh god. I can't keep going on like this... The awkwardness is killing me. I feel like I'm doing something wrong.' 'I wonder if director Quixote is singing in the Caféteria again...'

However, as both the children were distracted on the training field, an accident was sure to arrive soon.

Unfortunately, the director almost completely pierced through the shoulder of the one he trained. "Shit--" "O-oh dear..! [Name], I'm- I'm so sorry! I was..." The child panicked as he dropped his weapon and walked towards his trainee for today with haste, abit uncharacteristically. Thankfully, nobody really paid attention to nor noticed the both of them, due to the hall being so loud. The injured child groaned abit in pain as they clutched their shoulder, which made the directors heart fill up with guilt.

"A-again, I apologize sincerely, [name]. I'm just... Really distracted, I don't know how to explain it." He did, actually. He just really didn't want to because pf embarassment. "Maybe we should cancel the training session, I'll get you some assistance --"

"O-oh, director, don't worry about it." "..?" "It's alright. I know how you feel, actually. So I can understand. Cancelling the session really isn't necessary, It was probably my fault for treating this whole encounter weirdly in the first place... Maybe you in general, too. So I should apologize... Sorry."

The child looked abit taken aback from that statement, but shook his head and let out a relieved chuckle, "It's alright, please don't worry... I'm, uh, glad we resolved this." He smiled, a smile unusually soft and heart felt, especially coming from this one.

"Then, I hope you can come to me abit more in confidence if you need anything, [name]." The child seemed to have been abit more at ease now, which made him manage to speak quite normally.

He wondered if it would be considered weird to ask them to hang out later right in this moment.

"... I change my mind, can we bandage this?" "Ah, but ofcourse..!"

He grabs your hands to gesture on things you should be wary about while being on the back of a horse, knowing it'll mess your brain up and lead you to not pay attention to a single thing coming out of his mouth

On the other hand if you're able to handle it in a short amount of time, he'll start flirting with you
