Baela & Rhaena placed a hit on Jaehaera cause why Baela had Daenaera up in KL like it was nothing ?
I think Rhaena had spies & courtesans whispering in Peake’s ears like “you are the hand, your daughter could be queen” knowing that he would try to harm that girl. Baela was tasked to find a replacement, a Valyrian bride from Essos perhaps with the help of Velaryon fleet.
Fast forward and instead of sending Alyn all the way to Essos to find Aegon’s new wife, they managed to find a Velaryon girl, Baela’s ward, an orphan, just like Aegon. Rhaena’s plan comes to fruition: Peake trying to pull an Otto and killing that girl. All Baela and Rhaena need now is to prepare Daenaera for KL.
It was genius when you think about it. Baela gets to solidify her maternal house status in KL by having the king’s wife be from House Velaryon & giving more protection to her brother, and Rhaena managed to completely destroy what’s left of the Green’s influence on the council by having him demoted.
Rhaena is very political astute and one thing about the Greens… they gon throw childish tantrums when their plans do not go as planned. She most likely knew Peake was going to threaten the king & council with his resignation. But the greed he had shown by trying to marry his daughter to Aegon rubbed the rest of the council the wrong way. thus no one was sad to see him go.
....I'm going to treat this as the joke I think it is and just not give a real answer.

Who would have Daeron I Targaryen "the Young Dragon" married?
Credits to @wweskywalker
I think that regarding to who would have become Daeron I's queen is very interesting.
Obviously, many (including myself) ship Daeron I x Daena, but at this moment that the Dragons had died the matter for the Targaryens was to still be at the top and keep their power, in order to survive Daeron would have to wed someone outside of his immediate family to gain more allies and power for the future Targaryens he would potentially sire.
Daeron I wanted to prove himself by conquering and bringing Dorne into the fold of Westeros and being known as the First Official King of the Seven Kingdoms.
We know he was allied with the many lords, such as the Tyrells one of whom he made Governor of Dorne, but his greatest allies were the Velaryons as they helped him greatly with the Conquest. The influence of House Velaryon was so great that when Alyn and Elaena got involved years later it was seen as a love story rather than adultery (also because Aegon IV had bigger scandals.)
In the case Daeron had lived and wed one day, he had to marry an extremely powerful and advantageous match for the benefit of the Targaryen dynasty, specially in that moment since they had conquered Dorne.
Chances are there were possible choices in The Vale as they had one of the greatest armies of Westeros, it could have been a maiden from House Arryn, Royce, Hunter, Borrell, Shett, Upcliff, etc. They all were powerful houses on their own and Daeron needed all the support he could get if his reign was to be successful, also they could have been highly trained to be an ideal queen consort and per alliance.
Other choice was marrying a Velaryon cousin, like Laena (Baela's daughter) or a Velaryon lady from another branch, in a way of showing the realm their Valyrian Exceptionalism still proved the strength of the Targaryens.
Other choice is that Daeron could have looked for an alliance with the Triarchy in fixing their relationship and wedding a woman with Valyrian heritage from there or a daughter of the Sealord of Braavos with Valyrian blood, doing both, keeping his Valyrian blood pure and getting an alliance.
Now, had Daeron noticed that a marriage between Baelor and Daena was pointless, he would have needed to arrange for Baelor to be a Septon and wed Daena to another ally, whether from The Vale or a son of Baela and Alyn or a Crownlands lord.
If Rhaena was convinced she needed to gain more power for the Targaryens, she would have been a scholar and fund charities convincing the smallfolk the gods loved the Targaryens and been wed to the Sealord of Braavos as we are told from semi-canon.

Killing off Jaehaera was completely unnecessary I mean would it really have changed anything if she was the mother of Aegon iii's children?
I agree that the manner of her death is absurdly cruel, but I also don't mind that GRRM killed the character? I think it's too neat an ending to the Dance to have both lines merge back into one, too much of a suggestion of reconciliation and harmony and healing. (I know, traumatized children, but still.) Jaehaera's death crushes that narrative. The obvious solution is dismantled and they are back where they started: a widowed king without a son to inherit. There's an open question once more, in the wake of her death, and the way Baela and Rhaena make use of a kindergarten-aged orphan ward to answer that question, a show of force and a decision coldly presented, disrupting an event that suggested the option of another intermarriage, to make a big fat point to the lords of Westeros about who controls House Targaryen and that Valyrian ancestry will always be preferred... it's creepy and gross and despicable and perfect. There are no good guys, no lessons learned. The young king may hate dragons but the blood of Old Valyria will run pure on the throne, no matter what, and it's enforced by the girls who are ultimately, most of all, Daemon's daughters.
It's ugly and dark and I kind of love it.
(PS: Ser Denys of Rhaenyra-supporting House Harte, supposedly hired a Faceless Man in Braavos just around the time Jaehaera died, and resulting in the late Hazel Harte's daughter Daenaera becoming queen? That's... quite a coincidence. Or a political conspiracy by those not interested in having Green blood on the throne. Old grudges die hard.)

Another sobriquet for Mariah/Myriah Martell would be 'The Resilient' as I think she adapted to every condition, giving up Dorne for the sake of peace, living in King's Landing without her family but then finding allies, and later helping her husband during the Blackfyre rebellions.
And for Alyssa Velaryon I would also call her Alyssa the Brave. She stole Dark Sister during Visenya's funeral! Who can say she's not brave?!
And for Aemma Arryn, Rhaenyra's mother, 'Aemma the Kind'
Hi SLAL. Quick question. If you had to give sobriquets to the Targaryen queens and princesses such as Rhaenys, Visenya, Alyssa, and Alicent what would they be?
Spoke with @goodqueenaly and we would probably pick the following:
Merry Queen Rhaenys, given her promotion of songs, poetry, and courtly life. Other suggestions might be Rhaenys the Noble.
Iron Queen Visenya, given her strength and conviction as well as projecting an image of stability as compared to her brutal, unstable son Maegor. Other choices might be Visenya the Formidable or Visenya the Undaunted. I’m sure during Maegor’s reign people might have less flattering things to call her.
Given Alyssa’s harrowing escape from the Red Keep and her personal resolve and capability, Alyssa is probably best dubbed Alyssa the Able.
If there’s one thing that defines Alicent Hightower, it’s her ambition, so she’s called Alicent the Ambitious, no question.
Helaena was considered less striking, but pleasant and happy, so I think she would probably be called Helaena the Beloved, with the commons making unkind jokes about Aegon II’s infidelity rather unfairly at her expense.
Short-lived Jaehaera would almost certainly be called the Silent, given her personality.
Daenaera would probably be named the Fair given that she was considered the most beautiful of the masked ball wherein she would be betrothed to Aegon III. However, I think the commons would call her “The Queen Worth a Thousand” in reference to that ball.
Elaena Targaryen was never a queen, but she would either be called Elaena the Clever or Elaena the Erudite, to reference her intelligence, get some sweet alliteration, and as a pun to the house sigil of the Penroses.
Rhaena was also never a queen, but she was famous for her piety and septa’s vows, so I think she would be the Septa-Princess, or Rhaena the Chaste.
Naerys Targaryen was also known for her piety, so I would guess that she would be Naerys the Pious.
Mariah would almost certainly be referred to as “The Dornish Queen” and “The Dornish” by many within Westeros, not all of them referenced kindly. Those more favorably-inclined would probably refer to her as the Peaceful for being a part of Baelor’s peace treaty. Unfortunately, we don’t know too much about her personality.
Aelinor Penrose would probably be unkindly referred to as “Aelinor the Maiden” or “The Maiden Queen.”
Assuming that Betha doesn’t already have the nickname the Black (because why else is Davos’s ship named the Black Betha), I think the Bold works as she is considered to be spirited and willful. Black Betha the Bold works well.
Given that Shaera ran away from the castle with Jaehaerys II, and had a brief stint as queen, I’d say that she would be Shaera the Swift (all GQA that one).
Rhaella’s long sufferance as queen would probably be referred to as Rhaella the Patient within earshot of the king (as to not to risk offending him). Elsewise, the kind would pray for her as they saw her savaged after Aerys’s forceful, unwanted coupling, and refer to her as Rhaella the Mournful. Others might not be so kind, and add insult upon very real injury with less kind monikers.
Thanks for the question, Anon.

If you had the chance to change something about the dance of the dragons (TV show or book), what would it be? For example, how a character dies, which team a house is on,or an entire character personally. How would you change it to make the story better, in your opinion?♥️🖤💙💚
House Velaryon would be split 50/50, with Vaemond's family joining the Greens in hopes of restoring Driftmark to people with trueborn Velaryon heirs.
The Vale would be split as well, and Jeyne Arryn would have to bargain with the Royces of Runestone (Rhea's people) to support Rhaenyra. Actually I'd make it that clashes break out in the Vale. Despite of the arrival of Joffrey and little Aegon's dragons, Rhaena would try to quell the Royces doubts with diplomatic talks, giving her more to do, and introducing her to her first husband Corywn Corbray in the process.
Instead of having Garmund Hightower sent away to be squire I'd have him remain in Oldtown, participating in politics as the Dance takes a toll on his father Ormund and his brothers. I'd actually do an Oldtown subplot in the show showing us the politically adept man that Rhaena marries in the future, quelling tensions at a time of instability and House Targaryen's dwindling power.
Helaena would participate more in government just as she was hinted to do in the books. I'd show why she was Beloved of Smallfolk and have her fly Dreamfyre more often, as well as make her more active in her relationships with her family members. She and Aegon would have a marriage of constant trials, she would give advice to her brothers and be a companion to Alicent constantly, accompanying her in the halls and encouraging her often when she's down. I feel like her bond with Alicent was underrepresented in the show.
I would highlight Aegon's night life, show his understanding of the outside world from which his family is sheltered behind the walls of the Keep. This would be good build up for when his Dragonstone arc is portrayed. We need to understand how he easily seduced the population of Dragonstone into turning against Rhaenyra.
I'd expand Alys' arc by building a connection between her and Larys. This would make her relationship with Aemond complex and would get you questioning her motives and loyalty. In the end she chooses Aemond out of sincerity, while Larys focuses on Aegon as his more malleable chess piece.
Alicent and Criston would have a romantic entanglement, but only after Viserys' death and Helaena becomes the new queen. This would make his death on his way back to her more tragic and darken Alicent's heart towards Rhaenyra.
Daeron would be present for Jaehaerys' funeral. Aegon would summon him as King, despite of Alicent's concerns that he's better off protected in Oldtown. After Aemond becomes Regent he sends Daeron to tackle the rising rebellions in the Reach against Aegon.
Vaemond's family strike an uneasy alliance with Alyn and Corlys after the war. In return Vaemond's son demands his daughter Daenaera be given to Aegon iii as wife. Rhaena oversees this sensitive negotiations and manages to strike a deal in the end.
Aemond would refuse to leave Harrenhal when Criston asks him to, because Alys was pregnant (he doesn't tell Criston this) and he fears for her safety should his family learn of her. At this time, Borros could still be looking to betroth Aemond to his daughter Floris as a strict condition for him to add to the Greens army. Aemond perceives this, and declines to go immediately to retake King's Landing. He wants to plan first before making a jump (the Alys bewitching him to abandon his family thing is too juvenile for me).

Yet it would all be undone in a trice by the king’s half-sisters, the very twins whose succession Unwin Peake had been so determined to prevent. Fewer than a dozen maids remained, and the press had thinned considerably, when a sudden trumpet blast heralded the arrival of Baela Velaryon and Rhaena Corbray. The doors to the throne room were thrown open, and the daughters of Prince Daemon entered upon a blast of winter air. Lady Baela was great with child, Lady Rhaena wan and thin from her miscarriage, yet seldom had they seemed more as one. Both were dressed in gowns of soft black velvet with rubies at their throats, and the three-headed dragon of House Targaryen on their cloaks. Mounted on a pair of coal black chargers, the twins rode the length of the hall side by side. When Ser Marston Waters of the Kingsguard blocked their path and demanded they dismount, Lady Baela slashed him across the cheek with her riding crop. “His Grace my brother can command me. You cannot.” At the foot of the Iron Throne they reined up. Lord Unwin rushed forward, demanding to know the meaning of this. The twins paid him no more heed than they would a serving man. “Brother,” Lady Rhaena said to Aegon, “if it please you, we have brought your new queen.” Her lord husband, Ser Corwyn Corbray, brought the girl forward. A gasp went through the hall. “Lady Daenaera of House Velaryon,” boomed out the herald, somewhat hoarsely, “daughter of the late and lamented Daeron of that house and his lady wife, Hazel of House Harte, also departed, a ward of Lady Baela of House Targaryen and Alyn the Oakenfist of House Velaryon, Lord Admiral, Master of Driftmark, and Lord of the Tides.”

Queen Daenaera Velaryon's Mermaid Crown
Daenaera is the daughter of the Lord Daeron Velaryon, who fought for both Queen Rhaenyra I and King Aegon III Targaryen.
It is obvious her family is Team Black no matter what antis want to say, and the marriage of Aegon and Daenaera was the best choice for him both as a political alliance and as a match.
Daenaera brought House Velaryon back to the royal family; her father Daeron Velaryon fought for Rhaenyra and for Aegon III Targaryen and his wife Hazel Harte and him seemed to have had a good relationship with Baela and Rhaena in order to entrust their daughter to them in case something happened to them (and sadly it did, my poor baby girl became an orphan at six years old 🥺).
After all the strife that happened to both House Targaryen and House Velaryon, Daenaera and Aegon met and wed each other.
Queen Rhaenyra I Targaryen had made a deal with House Velaryon that there would be Velaryon blood in the Iron Throne one way or another, and here it was the chance to fulfill that agreement after all the fighting that had make it seem there would not be another Targaryen - Velaryon union.
Daenaera was a queen who had given everyone hope even if she herself struggled with it at times, her queenship represented hope.
It is likely Daenaera died from the same illness of Aegon III as she dedicated herself to take care of him (because she loved him).
Daenaera had to wear a crown that represented a new beginning and to be the symbol of peace and freshness, and to emphasize how House Velaryon was as godly as House Targaryen.
Daenaera wearing a mermaid-like crown would be perfect for her and her legacy.
...
If her son Daeron the Young Dragon had lived and married a maiden from Volantis as it is presumed, then she would have worn Daenaera's crown.
And this is surely the same crown her daughter Daena wore for the short time she was queen consort (likely a year) honoring her mother as Daena also honored her father with her black outfits signaling her love for both her parents; later on Naerys would wear the crown of her aunt Daenaera as a homage to the line of her uncle King Aegon III Targaryen as her father Viserys II Targaryen became king after Baelor died and the lords preferred him over Aegon and Daenaera's daughters (Viserys had years of experience whereas Daena, Rhaena and Elaena had been isolated) and Aegon IV and her became king and queen after Viserys II Targaryen died.
It is also possible Daenerys Targaryen The Second (the daughter of Aegon IV and Naerys) also wore it, in an attempt of showing both House Targaryen and House Velaryon were reconciling with Dorne, and therefore the crown of Queen Daenaera would be needed.
After Daenerys, the crown of Queen Daenaera probably went back to Daenaera's descendants, this time to the children of Jeyne Waters (my headcanon is that Jeyne married into House Borrell while Jon married into House Waxley, Houses from the Vale) as a tribute to Queen Daenaera and to give legitimacy to Jeyne as the bastard daughter of Alyn Velaryon and Elaena Targaryen.
In the end it was Elaena who carried on with Aegon and Daenaera's line aside from the Blackfyres, though Rhaena had a great legacy of reclaiming the Targaryen status as different from the rest of the men with her work as a Septa, Elaena deserved to have the crown of her mother who had been so far one of the most beloved queens.
...
Daenaera's legacy is still alive through the actions of all of her children - we may not like the Blackfyres, but we can't deny Daena was an icon of resistance - and has influenced the whole story of GOT
Daenaera is one of the best queens in the whole saga of books.

Rhaena "The Pious" Targaryen was probably one of the smartest of the Targaryens.
Fire and Blood vol. 2 will give more information, but I think Rhaena becoming a septa after Baelor dying and her uncle Viserys becoming king was a political move.
I think Rhaena and Viserys were the ones who were the closest to Baelor, and maybe they tried to council him to not give too much power to the Faith as they feared Baelor's zealotry would cause a war with the North and the Iron Islands.
Rhaena is said to be pious, while Baelor is described as blessed, other septons have not received the categorization of pious. This may have been due to Rhaena being interested more in helping the smallfolk. Remember that not necessarily all people who are religious are selfless, just look at the Hightowers in the Faith Militant Uprising and the Dance of the Dragons.
My headcanon is that Rhaena dedicated herself to help the smallfolk and subtly remind the Faith that the Targaryens were Valyrians who would not give away their power just because they accepted the Faith of the Seven, like Aegon The Conqueror did when he accepted to be crowned and blessed by a septons, and like Jaehaerys who said he would protect the Faith as he introduced the Doctrine of Exceptionalism at the same time.
Rhaena may not have had complained to Baelor, but she did it not because she was fine with being locked, she did it because she hoped that through being obedient and let him see his mistake he would free them, as Daena herself tried to escape many times and Elaena had cut her "crowning beauty" that was her hair and even then Baelor refused to free them.
Rhaena was not a zealot like Baelor, she did not try to "change" her sisters not disowned them when they had children out of wedlock, she supported them and protected them when all Baelor did was fast to "clean himself from their sins".
Rhaena was described as more beautiful than Daena and Elaena, and that's something, and yet she chose to have a life of celibacy, and I think someone as beautiful as Rhaena obviously would have had a lot of suitors after her.
I won't say she was antisocial or that she was against a liberal life, or that she thought sex was impure like Baelor did, but maybe Rhaena simply did not want to get married. She had seen Baelor annuling his marriage to Daena and how her cousin Aegon treated Naerys. In the context of Westeros being like Medieval Europe, it is fair to say women who didn't get married didn't have many options unless they became nuns.
Nuns also could hold a lot of power in the Medieval times, and Westeros is based in Medieval Europe.
Rhaena must have wanted to find a way to influence the Faith in accepting the customs of the Targaryens once again and not interfere in the Crown's matters anymore, and getting inside the nest was how she did it.
She very probably went to the North and the Iron Islands to repair the relationships broken with the crown.
Rhaena became a septa to give back to her House the power Baelor had given away so easily.
