ISO People to Participate in My Survey!
Hello!! I am looking for people who might be interested in participating in my survey for my Research Design course!
Participants interested in completing the survey must be 18+ and residents of the United States.
The survey aims to analyze the relationship between tattoos and level of education. Because there is a stigma that is associated with tattoos, many people make false assumptions about heavily-tattooed individuals. One of those assumptions often tends to involve the individual’s level of education or ability to maintain good work. Through this study, I am hopeful to disprove these claims and show that tattooed and non-tattooed individuals do not differ in their ability to earn higher education and maintain good employment. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE TATTOOS TO PARTICIPATE. This survey will also analyze attitudes toward tattoos in the workplace or in educational settings.
If you are interested in participating in this survey to help contribute to this research, please follow this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdhTae5CH03833J7tKNdDhyVWhPakKJzvSKnEQ5op7O-lpj5A/viewform?usp=sf_link

Making the Ethical Oversight of All Clinical Trials Fit for Purpose. JAMA. 2024), and is part of a special issue including a renewed version of the Declaration of Helsinki World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki:…

Research design refers to the framework or plan that guides the collection and analysis of data in a research study. Different types of research designs are employed based on the nature of the research questions, objectives, and the level of control researchers have over variables. Each research design has its strengths and limitations, and researchers select the most appropriate design based on their research questions, resources, and ethical considerations.

So i'm working on a project that involves looking at people's opinions on public transportation, and something that keeps coming up is that a lot of people like the idea of public transportation but ridership is at the same time low, so I wanna figure out what stops people from riding.
If you could reblog this for bigger sample size that would be so so appreciated

Badly performed, badly presented, unethical published research; what to do?
Since at least 2013 the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki has mandated registration of clinical trials prior to enrolment of the first subject. Since 2005 the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors has required trial registration as a condition of publication, before the onset of patient enrolment. This principle is reiterated in the new version of the declaration of…

I love libraries.
I'm browsing the WWI shelves (as you do) and notice a very old book about the war. I glance at the first pages that talk about how one day the war will be over and we'll look at this place and not see any signs of the battlefield.
Then it hits me. And I check the publishing date.
This book was printed before the war's end. Not written. Printed. The physical object was created in 1918, while the war in question was raging and the end was as yet uncertain.
Now I'm standing on the other side of the apocalypse, with this physical link to that era in my hands. I'm living proof that the war did end and life did go on and we can all look at the end of the world as a long-ago memory.
Reading old books is cool enough, connecting our minds and hearts through the ideas of people who lived long ago, but there's something extra profound about holding a copy of the book that comes from the time that it was written. It's a physical link between the past and the present connecting me to those long-ago people. A piece of the past come into the future that gives me the chance to almost take the hand of some long-ago reader, to hold something they could have held, connecting not just mentally but physically to their era, a moment of connection across more than a century.
Excuse me while I go weep.
