Kind of an unhinged one tbh lol, had a lot of struggles with the initial rough sketches as I tried to figure out what I even wanted this drawing to be. One of the recurring ideas was with something relating the parazon with Requiem mods with Styanax Tonatiuh, but it just felt like too big of a stretch and I couldn't figure out the posing fast enough

I see not many liked the torture scene in HSR and it has halted their need to romance some of the LI's involved. But when I said that Dia's torture scene in SOTC was wrong asf everyone was saying it was due to the Hunter's job. I can get the job aspect as the team in HSR is doing the same thing too. Lane is very sus, snuck into the leader's room, thought of killing Greg (I'm romancing him btw 👀), and honestly she's not normal.

I'm not justifying either(what they both went through was horrible) but I'm saying the LI's jobs were in the way before their actual feelings for Lane and Dia. Also not to mention some people didn't even care that Dia got tortured and were happy that she went through that.

So my question is do more people feel bad for Lane compared to Dia because she's mc or is it because one of them was an addict and liability? 🤔

spock's characterization in requiem for methuselah is actually quite interesting. he shows a very good understanding of human emotion, he understands the dudes plan before anyone else, he observes his jealousy (i wonder if it is at all connected to what he himself might (try not to) feel), rayna's love and in the infamous ending scene he understands his captains pain and goes to the extreme to ease it. by his own admittance he himself is 'close to feeling human emotion', that is when he sees the flint's amazing art collection- because oh yes btw he loves (or at least he's very knowledgeable about) music and figurative art. amd then oh god an then the fucking 'you'll never understand love. the broken rules, the glorious victories, the highs and lows of high-school football' bones speech but the thing is. he does. he really does. and he shows it in the most obvious blatant way
