The majority of you characterize GER wrong and it gets on my damn nerves

I am SICK and TIRED of seeing people portray Gold Experience Requiem as some kind of demon that resents Giorno or wants total world domination or some other stupid shit.

First of all, despite their ascended state of being, GER is still Giorno’s Stand, and as his Stand, they will do anything to protect him. Y’all act like the chemistry between Giorno and GE just vanished when GE ascended into Requiem, but it’s still clearly there and arguably stronger than ever.

Sure, GER sounds ominous as hell when they explain their ability and how Giorno isn’t even aware of it, but they CLEARLY meant it in a “he doesn’t need to worry about that” kind of way because there were MORE PRESSING ISSUES AT THE MOMENT.

ALSO, the whole death loop is a reflection of how desperately Giorno craved justice. Giorno may not know what became of Diavolo, but he does say that he knows GER took care of it and he TRUSTS his Stand and his Stand TRUSTS him in turn.

Can we also talk about how GER has COMPLETE sentience but CHOOSES to stay with Giorno?? That is the biggest factor a good deal of you just blatantly ignore. Because if GER did resent Giorno and wanted to go and become god, they would’ve left his ass because they’re on a completely different state of existence from him, but no, GER still cares about Giorno and cares about his wishes so that’s why they stay, they STILL care about him, that feeling never changed.

GER was supposed to be if your pet dog became god and chose to stay loyal to you because they still loved you so much, not whatever the fuck some of y’all are doing. It’s like a complete assassination of GER’s integrity as a Stand and I HATE how this is becoming fandom wide canon. Y’all sicken me. GER still loves Giorno, just the same as GE did, but y’all demonize them and spin some twisted nonsense about them being some kind of monster who only craves violence and death.
