I'm not sure if I'm okay but randomly I remembered some repressed trauma related how I was treated in kid for my my meltdowns that where called "tantrums" and I was even labelled a "bad girl" and that even made my mom soffer... She knew deep down that I want being mean but the doctors couldn't tell her why I was acting that way... I know that I wasn't badly treated in a medical environment but the way Medicine was in just 20 years ago made me soffered so much that now a days I have so many wrong leading things about myself in the past in my head... Things I thought I was and in the true I never was and that I basically was wrongly labelled and treated like a "spoiled brat" when I was just a very scared girl that was never explained what was adhd and never diagnosed with autism until the end of 2022... And now I'm crying thinking of the little me... How much she deserved better...

I love The Forgotten Son, because Brigadier (tho he’s still a colonel when this is set) goes back to his home village, and realises he remembers basically none of his childhood, and the other soldier he’s with asks “did you have a traumatic childhood?” And Brig’s like “nope. Definitely not a traumatic childhood. I remember basically nothing but it must be because of something else”

Then the rest of the book proceeds to show that Brig did indeed have a traumatic childhood that slowly comes back to him

Funnily enough anything artistic is looked down on in my family so growing up I used to pretend to be studying/doing homework so I could write poetry in peace and/or draw stuff. The one time a parental figure discovered my writing via snooping through my stuff, they ripped up the poem lol that just made me want to write more and from then on I never stopped. that's also why I focused so much on learning english as a second language. try to understand me now bitch
