"Happiness Is..." um-hum, just some japanese easy listening. Kind of reminds me of something that might've come from TWEWY or a Persona game.

"Dying" The Drums ft Rico Nasty. I loove ho Rico Nasty can feature on a track of any genre and make it work and make it feel distinctly her. This song is dark, ambient, and yet bubbly, the way a cauldron might be. While we're talking about Rico, shout out to her song "War" with Nostalgix. A bop with edge.

"Capable of Love" Pinkpantheress. Feels like a sugar rimmed cocktail. Dreamy and potent, this song is an instant fave. Also loving 'Mosquito" tbh.

"ก่อนจบเพลงนี้ (get to know me)" MXFruit. Not an amazing track but I just find it really pleasant to listen to. Like just close your eyes and lean back, it's nice.

"Resonance" Mo Beats. Incredible instrumental. The contrast between the piano and the almost trilling synths bit is great.

"We Looked like Giants" Car Seat Headrest. Death Cab cover. I'm a sucker for it.

what languages do you think the character's know?

Alex knows Irish and maybe some French.

Avery knows French and Latin. Maybe some Mandarin Chinese for business reasons. Maybe German for business as well. Definitely doesn't know Klingon because they're a secret diehard Trekkie.

Bailey will not reveal how many languages they know. At the bare minimum knows German, French, Spanish, Latin, and Russian. Has a good understanding of Arabic and Mandarin Chinese but they wouldn't say they're fluent. Belarusian and Cornish they don't get to use often yet somehow they can still communicate effectively in it.

Eden knows English. Full stop. They probably know a bit of French or German, but they haven't had to use it in so long that their skill has atrophied.

Great Hawk knows English and a strange bird language that they try to teach their spouse.

Kylar learned German specifically so they could read Faustus, A Death in Venice, Perfume, and Franz Kafka in their original language. Knows a bit of Finnish from listening to death metal. Has picked up some Japanese from hentai anime.

Leighton can, at the very least, read French and Latin.

I don't know why but my gut response for Remy is French and Welsh.

Robin is trying to learn Esperanto. Has picked up some Korean from Korean music, TV shows, and movies. Picked up some Japanese from anime. Teaching themself Python.

Sydney knows French and Latin. Maybe a smattering of Greek. A little bit of Italian.

I subscribe to the 'Whitney is a burned-out gifted kid' hc. As a result, they have a spongy brain. Only needs to hear something a few times to pick it up. They have a good grasp on a bunch of languages. Enough to have a basic conversation, and to swear. French and German are the ones they're the most fluent in, besides English. I could see Rich!Whitney's father forcing them to take classes in Mandarin Chinese for "when Whitney takes over the family business."

Wren is similar to Bailey in never revealing how many languages they know. At the bare minimum, Wren knows German, French, Spanish, and Russian. Knows Arabic and Chinese but won't reveal to what extent. I want to say Korean but it's up in the air on if Wren knows Korean or if they've just memorized kpop songs. Probably both. The Bias List

(that was a lie almost as fat as me) So in this bias list I will only list groups that I listen to. The last bias list I posted there were a lot of groups that I hadn’t listened to yet so this one will just be the groups I know of. wow, it’s been a year since Kick It

one of the last things i did before lockdown last year was seeing Welcome to Night Vale live with my boyfriend, and listening to songs and podcasts in the car with him on the way there and back, and i remember one of them was Kick It, because it had just come out and my bf liked it. he’s not really a kpoppie, but he likes some of the stuff i show him haha. he was actually into kpop before me, he had a phase in like 2012-2013 before i met him, but anyway that’s neither here nor there lol.

seeing that it’s been a year since something that i remember being involved in one of the last things i did with my bf in person is... wild. i’ve seen him since then, but only three or four times, with loooong stretches in between. i havent seen him since december at this point... we’ve been safe with how we’ve seen each other, which is why it’s only happened three times over the last 12 months. and tbh, i’m not sure when i’ll get to hang out with him next. but we’re in a really great relationship and we trust each other and talk every day and i couldn’t do it without him. we’ve been together for five whole years, as of this last december. and i’m only 24 lol, that’s literally more than a fifth of my life. we’re both pretty different people from who we were when we first met.... we’re both going by different names and using different pronouns now hahaha. i mean, by the time we started dating, Remy was already going by Remy, but his pronouns weren’t the pronouns I’m currently using, and I hadn’t started experimenting with my own gender and name and stuff yet lol. we’ve grown a lot together and i’m really happy with how we’ve turned out. i love you @ymcr

“You ready for this mate?” Sirius asked as he clapped Remus on the back and the man stared into his reflection in the mirror. Remus gave him a smile and fixed the lapel on this suit as Sirius checked him over making sure everything was fine in the outfit aspect. “I can’t believe you’re actually doing it.” Sirius whispers made Remus chuckle and take a glance at the moving picture above the fireplace. The small picture was his favorite, both you and him just sitting at the dinner table before you threw your arms around him in happiness, the exact moment Lily came into the room carrying a baby Harry and a camera. Warmth spread through his body as he thought about you, turning back to mirror with a beaming grin across his face.

“I can’t believe you’re getting married today.”

“Lily I don’t like parties!” You yelled over the booming music, tugging on your best friends arm as she ignored your arguments again. Her eyes were scanning the dimly lit room for the idiots you both decide to spend your time with before a small tap landed on your shoulder. You glanced behind you, getting sight of a ruffled brown hair before your lips turned into a smile. Letting go of Lily’s arms you turned towards Remus, accepting the outstretched drink he gave you with a soft grin. “The best part of parties.” You whispered as you finished gulping down the drink.

“Figured you’d need it. Can’t believe Lily actually got you to come.” His voice was loud but you still couldn’t hear him over the music. He leaned down to your ear, barely inches from your skin as his breath tickled you right down your spine. “I didn’t think you’d be here.” His voice was deep as he spoke making you shiver.

“Almost didn’t, but Lily me she’d go to Hogsmeade with me tomorrow.” He chuckled and nodded, finding humor in the fact he knew you needed to be bribed to actually leave your room. You stretched your hand out, grabbing a cup someone a year younger than you just poured. He was about to complain before you gave him a wink, making him blush and start pouring another. He barely finished it before you grabbed that one as well, handing it off to Remus who just stared at you in shock. You shrugged and drank the liquid in front of you, loving the cozy feeling it brought you before the buzz started to hit you. At this point both you and Remus had a few more drinks and conversation was flowing. You really had no clue what you were saying but it didn’t matter. The music around you became muffled in your ears as you clung to Remus, swaying way off the beat and you tried to sing along a little.

“I know I needed you, but I never showed...” you began as Remus let his head bob to look at you, a drunken smile playing on his face as he joined you.

“But I wanna stay with you until we’re grey and old, Just say you won’t let go...” you were about to sing the next line before your stomach started doing flips. Without wasting a second, you stood over a waste bin, emptying your stomach contents into it. For a moment all you think about was throwing up until a pair of hands was pulling your hair back from your face, rubbing your back up and down before you finished. You smiled at him over your shoulder and pushed away from the now foul smelling container. By luck, Remus wrapped an arm around your waist and let you fall back onto his chest as he rested on a wall. You sat like for a while, neither of you saying anything as Remus’ arm remained locked around you and you held it close to your stomach, watching the lights of the party dance in the room as your eyes started to close a little before Remus nudged you from behind.

“Come on, you should get some rest.” He whispered into your ear as you nodded your head. You both struggled to get up, leaning onto each other and the wall for support before he lead you to your room, staggering along the way. You plopped yourself down onto the mattress, giggling to yourself as Remus helped tuck the sheets over you.

“Stay with me?” You asked softly, eyes hooded over as you pressed yourself into the mattress and looked up at him. He fixed the blanket to cover the spot you made for him and pressed a quick kiss to your forehead.

“You need to get some sleep Y/N. I’ll let Lily know you’re here.” He said before your body succumbed to a light sleep.

Remus’ eyes were casted upon you, watching the way your body moved slightly from breathing. His thoughts ran rampant as he finally went left your room and headed to his, talking to Lily real quick along the way before finding himself falling into his bed with you on his mind. He knew the moment ok looked at him with those big Y/E/C eyes that he was in trouble, you knocked him out of his stupor with just one look.

Remus looked down at you once again, only this time you were smiling wider than he’d ever seen wearing a white dress. Your hair was done in your favorite style, and your lips were a nice red that Remus just wanted to press his onto. And after you both said the magical words, kissing you was exactly what he did.

The years only did you and Remus better. You had a son, Teddy who just turned 11 and Remus landed a job as a professor at hogwarts where Teddy was finally old enough to attend. You and Remus both stayed in the castle, throughly embarrassing your son anytime either of you would see him but what you mainly loved to do was watch your husband teach Defense against the Dark Arts. It was always hard during his “time of the month” but you figured out a way around that. Since you were just as knowledgeable in the subject as Remus, you would take over as teacher for the days needed. Remus always felt bad though and the next day he was better after his moon days he would wake up early and head to the kitchen, getting the house elves help to make you the perfect breakfast.

“Good morning.” Remus whispered into the bedroom as you tossed in bed, moving to face him with a smile.

“Morning Moony.” You cooed as he pressed a kiss to your head, much like he’d done that night. It seemed so long ago he realized he loved you but he knew that nothing could ever change his mind. He joined you with your breakfast before you both got up (officially) and got dressed for the day. You wound up in front of the mirror, staring at your reflection with a frown before Remus approached from behind.

“What’s wrong love?” He asked as you sighed.

“I have grey hair Remy.” You sounded more disappointed than sad but Remus still couldn’t help but chuckle a little, making you feign offense towards him. You looked back at him, so beautiful, and all he saw was the girl from the party, the girl he fell in love with.

“Im so in love with you and I hope you know. Darling your love is more than worth its weight in gold. We’ve come so far my dear, look how we’ve grown, and I wanna stay with you until we’re grey and old...” Remus sang in your ear, pressing your back into his chest and listening to his words.

“Just say you won’t let go, just say you won’t let go.” You joined him, letting your fingers intertwine with his.

“Let’s grow old together.” Remus said, this time not singing. Your eyes softened as you stood on the tips of your toes to kiss his lips, catching him chuckling against you.

“I think we already are.” You joked and ruffled his hair, letting him rest his arms around your waist and you wrapped yours around his neck, playing with the short hairs there. “I wanna live with you even when we’re ghosts.” You whispered over his lips, feeling the light touch of his over your bottom lip.

“I’m gonna love you until my lungs run out.” Remus continued, making you both sway to the beat of the music in your heads. “I promise till death we part like in our vows.” You finally pressed your lips flush against his slowly as you both melted into each other’s embrace. Remus’ hold on you got tighter and you deepened the kiss.

You didn’t know what the future would hold but you knew Remus would stay by yourself the whole time because he was always there for you when you needed him the most. You pulled apart from Remus and sucked in a breath, losing yourself in his eyes before he smiled, letting you whisper in his ear one more time.

“Say you won’t let go.”

Surprise - Kihyun

 This is the first story I've ever finished and I'm kind of excited about it. Hope you like it.

Warning: Cussing

The first time it happened, Mazee was five and had woken up with a slight bruise across her chest. She didn't really think anything of it and went about her day.

 As the days went on, there was a new mark on her arm, leg, chest or side but it wasn't until she was seven that one showed up on her face. She had been getting ready for bed and went to brush her teeth before saying goodnight to her sisters, Emilia and Remi, when she looked into the mirror to find she had a black eye.

 She couldn't remember being hit in the face so she called for her mom. Her mom said that it was probably her soulmate and explained the bond to her. She asked all the questions her seven year old brain could come up with then went to bed to dream of faceless boys with black eyes. Her life continued on with more soulmate bruises and quite a few of her own.

 It wasn't until middle school that words started to appear on her arm, at least she thought they were words as it was weird symbols. After countless hours on the internet, she found that the symbols were actually the Korean alphabet. She then spent the rest of seventh grade and the summer learning the language.

 Then spent the first couple of weeks of eighth grade building up the courage to conduct an experiment. She decided to talk to her best friend, Riah, about it.

 “Ri! I don't know what to do!” She says loudly, catching him off guard and making him drop his burrito. “Damn it, woman! My burrito!” He whines causing her to roll her eyes.

 “Calm down, Fatty. Help me would you?” Mazee whines and now it's Riah’s turn to roll his eyes. “With what, Maze? I swear to the gods I'm not writing another essay for you.” He glares at her as she cackles like a mad woman.

 “Anyway, I want your advice on something.” She says as she leans her head on his shoulder. “Oh now you want my advice.” He mumbled as she reaches out and steals his burrito.

 “I'm being serious, Riah. I want to try to contact my soulmate by writing on my arm. What do you think?” She asks, taking a huge bite of his burrito. “I think that's my burrito, you bitch. Also I would say do it. What's the worst that can happen?” He shrugs, taking his burrito back from her.

 “You're right.” She sighs, pulling a pen from her backpack and writing the word ‘Hi’ on her wrist. A few minutes later, the word ‘Hello’ shows up just below her ‘Hi’. Riah sees it first and gasps, pointing at her wrist. “It worked!” She grins at him.

 The first conversation she had with her soulmate resulted in them both realizing two things: one, they couldn't tell each other their names and two, they were halfway around the world from each other, her in California, him in South Korea.

 They wrote back and forth to each other on and off for the next three and a half years until about halfway through her senior year when the words, ‘I’m becoming a trainee’ appeared across her left wrist during English. ‘I have no idea what that means.’ Was what she replied with when her teacher wasn't looking. ‘It's a Kpop thing.” Came the reply.

 Still having no idea what that meant, Mazee relied on the internet and her sisters for information thus leading to an undying love of Kpop.

 She graduated from high school and went to college for dance and music with Riah as well as starting a band with Emilia and Remi. Her and her soulmate kept in touch and congratulated each other on major accomplishments like when he debuted and when her band, Renegade Youth, signed with a record label.

 They were talking about music shortly after she finished her last year of college when she mentioned that she'd recently found a band she really liked. ‘It's an all male Kpop group and a couple of the members are super cute.’ She wrote honestly. ‘Oh you think they're cute do you?’ Came the reply and she knew he was teasing her. ‘Well I am a girl so I'm allowed. :P’ she teases him right back.

 ‘Well at least I know you're a girl. :P’ her soulmate replies causing her to roll her eyes. ‘You already knew that, nerd. What about you then? Any new bands?’ she asks turning the tables back on him.

 ‘Well there is an all female rock band that I've become quite fond of lately.’ He replies after a few minutes. ‘All female huh?’ She asks with a laugh to herself. ‘Well I am a guy.’ Comes the reply which she laughed at. ‘At least I know you're a guy. XD’ she replies still laughing.

 ‘Haha. I have to go but wash your arm, okay?’ He writes to which she rolls her eyes. ‘Duh. Just letting you know though. I'm going to draw something on my arm cause I can.’ She tells him as she heads to the bathroom.

 ‘That's fine. Just nothing obscene. I still remember that one time in high school with the dick.’ He replies causing her to groan. ‘I told you that was Riah!’ She writes back and begins washing her arm. ‘I know’ he replies before his responses disappear.

 Mazee heads back to her desk and begins drawing a stylized guitar on her left arm when a Vlive notification pops up on her computer. She clicks on it upon realizing that it's Monsta X and goes back to drawing.

 “Oh she started again.” Mazee hears Minhyuk say and glances up briefly to find them all staring at something on Kihyun's arm. “Kihyun's soulmate is drawing something on his arm. He'll show you, Monbebes, when she's done.” Hyungwon says as Mazee draws the last line of the guitar and looks up at the screen.

 “I think she's done. It's beautiful.” Kihyun says, dropping his arm so the camera can see the stylized guitar on his arm. “Holy shit!” Mazee yells at the top of her lungs, running her left hand through her hair as her sisters come into the room.

 “What? Who died?” Emilia asks causing Mazee to point at the screen. “That's beautiful. Is it a tattoo?” Remi asks causing Mazee to shake her head and drop her arm. “Oh!” Both of her sisters say at the same time. “Well this just made life more interesting.” Emilia says as her and Remi leave their shocked sister to finish watching her soulmate’s Vlive.

 When the Vlive ends, Mazee goes and washes her arm. ‘Aww. I liked that. It was beautiful.’ Writes itself across her wrist as soon as the guitar is gone. ‘I know. Apparently so did Wonho.’ She replies after drying her forearm. ‘Yeah. He… wait how did you know that?’ Comes the reply seconds later.

 ‘I saw the fucking Vlive, Kihyun.’ She writes back almost immediately. ‘Well at least you know who I am now.’ He writes back then doesn't reply to her, ‘yep’.

 The writing disappears the next morning and it's quiet for a few days while she's getting ready to film a new music video. ‘How's it going?’ suddenly appears on her arm twenty minutes before she's supposed to film. ‘Meh.’ She writes back before going back to doing her makeup.

 ‘What's the matter?’ Kihyun writes back causing her to chuckle. ‘Nothing. I only have a few minutes to talk.’ Mazee replies as she finishes her makeup. ‘Oh well I'll leave you be and wash my arm but I'm gonna draw something.’ He writes, making her chuckle again.

 ‘That's fine. Just nothing obscene.’ She repeats his words from the other day, only to receive no response except his responses disappearing. As she's washing her arm, lines start appearing, forming a stylized heart on her left forearm.

 A couple of days after the video was posted, people on the internet were wondering if she'd gotten a tattoo. While she was reading one such article, the office phone started ringing. “Hello?” She answers quickly.

 “Hello. Is this the number to reach the band, Renegade Youth?” The man on the other line asks. “Yes. My name is Mazee. What can I do for you?” She replies curiously. “I represent a South Korean entertainment company called Starship. We would like to extend a collaboration offer with one of our artists.” He says causing Mazee’s eyes to widen in shock.

 “Hello?” The man on the other line says snapping Mazee out of her daze. “Oh my god! I'm so sorry. I was in shock. Can I discuss it with my band mates and call you back?” She asks which he agreed to and gave the number to call.

 As soon as she hung up the phone, she yelled at the top of her lungs for her sisters. “What?” Remi asks as they walk into the room. “I just got a call from a South Korean entertainment company wanting to collab with us. Are we gonna say no?” Mazee asks her sisters.

 Emilia deadpans at her as Remi shakes her head. “You are dumb.” Remi says causing Mazee to laugh. “Didn't think so. Now get out. I have to call them back.” Both of her sisters flip her off as they leave and she calls Starship back. They hash out the details and Mazee receives an email with the ticket confirmation for two days away then she calls Riah. “We leave in two days.” She tells her sisters as she heads to her room from the office.

 The two days go by quickly and suddenly they're landing in Korea then being taken to a hotel. Mazee bids her sisters goodnight before heading to her hotel room where she notices words on her wrist.

 ‘How's it going?’ It says causing Mazee to realize that she'd missed his presence. ‘It's pretty great actually.’ She writes back quickly. ‘Oh really? Usually all I get is meh.’ He replies, teasingly. ‘I can't even find words, Ki. There's a collab and I'm practically dying of excitement but also exhaustion. Can I tell you about it tomorrow?’ She replies as she yawns to herself. ‘Of course. Get some rest and we'll talk tomorrow.’ Comes his reply a few seconds later. ‘Goodnight, Kihyun.’ She replies before falling asleep.

 When she woke up the next morning, Kihyun's responses had disappeared so she quickly washed her arm and got ready. Someone from Starship picked them up from the hotel and took them to the company building, showing them to a conference room.

 “They're late.” Emilia says after they'd been in the conference room for fifteen minutes. “Will you chill, Em? They'll get here when they get here.” Mazee says, glancing at Remi who is asleep in her chair before looking down at her phone.

 Not even five minutes later, the door flies open causing Remi to jump violently and fall on the floor. “Hi! It's really you! I love you guys!” A voice that makes Mazee’s head snap up says as Emilia snorts at Remi. “Wonho, move! I want to go eat!” Hyungwon says before shoving shoving Wonho into the room.

 Mazee watches in shock as the boys file in one by one. “Holy shit! It's you!” She says as the last boy walks into the room with his head down. At the sound of her voice, he raises his head. “Surprise!” He says with a shit eating grin.

 “I'm going to kill you.”
