I don't really have this theory anymore but I had a theory that lunia was actually Mateo and Izzie’s mother and the reason why she disappeared from the dreamworld because she got sick and died in the waking world (This was a year before season 2 released and it turned out they mama ain't dead she just left them)

I used to slightly enjoy this theory never believed it myself HOWEVER

I do not like Lunia is X's mother Theories at allll I absolutely believe theyre not real and if they ever are I will genuinely rewrite this shit bc

A good bit of the characters appeal to me is that. None of them arent 'destined' or 'phrophecised' to do this or that

The main 4 simply were in the wrong places at the wrong times and they ended up as aware dreamers

Having Lunia be on of the mains parent takes away that aspect of them that makes them feel so real and the story a bit more haunting because. This all couldve happened to ANYONE and it just so happens to be them

Lunia being one of their parents enters bullshit "written in the stars" reasoning and i just do not like that trope all that much (And yes maybe you could include Zoey in this catorgorization but its different because shes the ONLY character who falls into something like it and its not multiple.)

Like idk it just makes the writing feel a bit more cheap and it would take away a lot about what i love about certain characters

going through some old logs, and I need you to understand just how truly unhinged early 2010s RP omegle was.

genuinely you could stay on there for hours with just one person, hashing out complex traumatic backstories, drawn-out love confessions, detailed action scenes...collaboratively describing graphic violence, past abuse, comfort, hurt/comfort, hurt/no comfort, any number of sex acts...and then one of you would be like, "oh haha it's 2AM! I have to sleep :(" and the other person would say, "omg saaaame. :( gnight!!!" and then you'd exit the chat and never speak to each other again, and this was. fine.

you could just spend an entire evening shoving your wretched, bleeding soul into a chat log with someone you'd never meet or learn the name of, achieve some form of emotional catharsis, and then go about your day or night like this was an average way to spend your time.

I'm really normal about this, actually

#sbs rambles #omegle #it wasn't always serious ofc. there was a lot of lighthearded silliness #but I usually went in for the darker sadder stuff that built up to a happy ending #there's really a special form of intimacy when you and an internet stranger are each controlling a fictional character #and describing them doing things like bandaging each other's wounds #checking each other for bruises. asking them to talk about what they've been through. great stuff!#I hope there are still places where people do stuff like this. like I know there are forums and servers for this but that's not the same.#and I mean. I keep thinking ''there must be other places like this!'' but then I remember the goodbye message when omegle shut down #and...I dunno. the internet is different now #we don't live in that world anymore #anyway if you ever RP'd sherlock stuff on omegle you might have talked to me. :) we might have written something together #and despite it being superwholock-era fandom “cringe”#I'm proud of that #that was a really important part of my life #it was fun :) though I definitely had issues I wasn't willing to confront yet lmao #and I wish I had saved more of the logs :/#oh! “South Park is a satirical show that goes after everybody and at the end of the day is meant to make you laugh and not be taken seriously” and “south park jokes about sensitive topics that hit close to home for a lot of people and it’s absolutely valid to feel uncomfortable by some of it” are statements that should be able to co-exist tbh

#this is something I think a lot of people need to realize tbh lol #because I see so many people who take this show WAY too seriously #fans of the show a lot of the time to boot #and the things they choose to draw the line at are always so weird??#like why is every single other thing they make fun of in the show fine to you but the second they make fun of one particular topic it’s #going too far??#however I also think it’s important to remember that something being a joke doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not gonna be hurtful #esp since YEAH this show is very offensive and jokes about a lot of dark topics #and some of it CAN feel like a bit much or take things too far sometimes #I feel like it’s pretty normal to feel uncomfortable by it at least a bit??#like I’m one of this show’s number one defenders and there are still absolutely things that make me uncomfortable jokes or not #doesn’t mean I’m gonna go around throwing a fit over it but it doesn’t mean I have to like it either??#and I do think a lot of people have this mindset of you either have to love everything in this show or hate everything #which I think is kind of silly lol
