I don't really have this theory anymore but I had a theory that lunia was actually Mateo and Izzie’s mother and the reason why she disappeared from the dreamworld because she got sick and died in the waking world (This was a year before season 2 released and it turned out they mama ain't dead she just left them)
I used to slightly enjoy this theory never believed it myself HOWEVER

A good bit of the characters appeal to me is that. None of them arent 'destined' or 'phrophecised' to do this or that
The main 4 simply were in the wrong places at the wrong times and they ended up as aware dreamers
Having Lunia be on of the mains parent takes away that aspect of them that makes them feel so real and the story a bit more haunting because. This all couldve happened to ANYONE and it just so happens to be them
Lunia being one of their parents enters bullshit "written in the stars" reasoning and i just do not like that trope all that much (And yes maybe you could include Zoey in this catorgorization but its different because shes the ONLY character who falls into something like it and its not multiple.)
Like idk it just makes the writing feel a bit more cheap and it would take away a lot about what i love about certain characters

you don't understand i was obsessed with Night at the Museum as a kid and i loved Jed and subconsciously shipped him with Octavius before i even knew you were allowed to ship two boys together, heck, before i even knew what shipping was, and now Owen Wilson is Mobius and it's the same fucking thing again where he's playing a heavily queer-coded character but the media they're in forces him to call his soulmate his 'friend' but there's no fucking way they're straight but this time around i know what shipping is and i know what homosexuality is and maybe d*sney will never let them kiss but hell if that's gonna stop me from losing my mind over them-

#red is My Colour it’s my thing everyone knows that about me and sometimes I catch myself being like wow this is like actually really lame 😭#bc my hair is red my nails (when i have them done) are red i wear red clothes#and it was always tiny things like that where yeah it’s fun and noticeable but not super in ur face if you don’t know any better#but recently I’ve really been leaning into it like I ordered a red wallet and a red bag AND red sunnies#and i actively choose red whenever colour options are available for day to day stuff#like red perfume instead of the original black one (this is my pride and joy) or dumb shit like getting cherry coke instead of normal#and it’s SO dumb it’s so lame but it brings me so much genuine joy#like i fr feel like a character it’s such a harmless way of making myself happy#AND it makes me happier w how i look bc on top of the red I’ve leaned more into grunge aesthetic lately#bc i used to be too scared to whereas now I’m really enjoying it#like i cant remember the last time i was this comfortable in myself physically and that's kinda a big deal for me#fr find an aesthetic you love and just go with it idc if it’s silly I can’t recommend it enough

the faerie kingdom episode would have been better if they added worms and moles as their npcs and not a bunch of monotone grayscale silver aesthetic
in fact, the forest/woods aesthetic isnt the problem because compared to actual cottagecore faerie aesthetic, the faerie kingdom is too incredibly 'pristine' and feels like youre in in the utensil section of the cooking aisle

cookies that have heavy designs from wild berries and flowers would have been more suitable because it can build a more creative and colourful world instead and there would be endless possibilities for outfits

God, I hope patch DT msq is good.
#i just want to be able to talk about msq with good faith criticism again.#endwalker patch content breaking the trend of not being as good or better than base expansion was a fluke right?#we're gonna address the several elephants in the room of rushed plotlines that DT fumbled hard right?#we're gonna put in fun unique duties for u to play in instead of just making it all cutscenes right? cuz it's a game and therefore#an interactive medium right? u can even let me play as The Character Whose Name Summons Hellfire that's fine! that duty was fun!#and i love getting to see characters' unique strengths like that in gameplay!#some of my favorite story moments are from getting to FEEL the struggle of characters who aren't the wol! it's always impactful!#and we did not get enough this time.#all of her trials should have been interactive.#how cute would it have been to have to play as her trying to catch a llama? the spit gets on u and gives u heavy debuff.#how much fun to actually have to remember what ingredients went where and when they came in for a silly cooking mini game?#how RAD would that train scene have been if u had to play a duty to defend it with turrets and not just a cutscene!?#other expansions would have done this! this is why people were bored! half of it was low stakes non-interactive filler that didn't matter.#and the other half had no room to breathe and threw out insane shit with huge leaps in logic and felt contrived as hell bcs it was rushed.#just... be a cute beach episode but still be a fun game to play! or be the epic feelings jrpg but give shit time to marinate! pick! ONE!!!
