My latest coloured pencil experiments!

The first was largely so I could experiment with blending a rainbow and learn to use the gel pen to make the stars. I am happy with this one.

The second was trying to replicate a cloisonne-like look, shown both before and after I added gel pen gold around the lines (which was a significant learning curve!). I like the general effect and really like how the blue and turquoise bits turned out, but the red blobs around the edge didn't blend like I wanted. But that's why I do these, to learn about my pencils and what they do vs what they don't. Which is why I'm sticking to NO ADVICE PLEASE.

The third was done with one of those kiddie four-in-one coloured pencils, trying to embrace the randomness but also learning that each colour in the four-colour pencils I found on ebay doesn't colour equally. The Enterprise bits are blue fineliner pen in random designs to see which I like drawing and which I don't.

As mentioned previously, my coloured pencils are a mix of cheap ones, my favourite being extremely cheap ones from Tesco that blend beautifully (but need a better red, apparently). Also as stated previously, I do these for relaxation, joy, and self-teaching so I am not interested in critiques or suggestions at this time. Share the joy with me or walk away, please.
