Raccon regreser poe 'n cg Ranpo pleas?/nf (*/∀＼*)

Hello there! I have been SO excited to answer this ask you have no idea. Do I know what I’m doing with it? Nope! But I get to do research into raccoon regressors! And I love researching things like this!

Raccoon Regressor Poe + Caretaker Ranpo

༘⋆ Let’s start off strong with nicknames! I don’t need to do much research for nicknames, so it’s a nice easy start to things “Kit” is the obvious. It’s what you call a baby raccoon! That’s literally what Poe is. Ranpo also definitely uses “Darling”, it makes Poe feel sooo gentle and loved. Ranpo also uses “Sweetheart” for the same reasons. All nicknames are of course best delivered with head pats too! Poe will just nuzzle up into the touch and chitter quietly. Words are absolutely impossible, no babbling even! Poe just chitters like a little raccoon would! So he can’t really have a nickname to call Ranpo, but he does get super excited and fidgety when he’s chittering about Ranpo!

✦ Alrighty onto the actual raccoon stuff! Poe has soooo many fidget toys! He has a tiny little basket he keeps them all in and he gets to scour through them all to find the toy he wants! He never gets any two toys that are the same either, Ranpo has memorized which toys Poe already has so that he never accidentally buys a duplicate. Poe loves the feeling of digging through all his trinkets! Sometimes he’ll lay everything out so he can look at it all at once, but he prefers the feeling of digging through his stuff. He feels like a little Kit going out and scavenging for things!

༘⋆ Poe steals all of Ranpo’s clothes! They don’t exactly fit him sadly, which is super sad ૮꒰◞ ˕ ◟ ྀི꒱ა But he’ll add Ranpo’s clothes to his nest! He loves collecting things that smell like Ranpo to surround himself with, which also means a lot of candy scented candles everywhere. Ranpo always smells like candy, either because he’s eaten it or just carrying it in pockets, there’s always candy somewhere when it comes to Ranpo! However Poe will wear Ranpo’s little capes! Capes are able to fit no matter what! Ranpo has also definitely bought his usual hats, but with raccoon ears for Poe to steal. Maybe even he had someone at the agency sew them on for him, I’m imaging Naomi being good at sewing

✦ Let’s focus in on Poe’s nest a bit! I think he’d like enclosed spaces, he gets overwhelmed really easily, and the smaller the space the easier it is to control the environment. So I think he’d have a closet somewhere in his house that the inside had been converted to a safe space! Fairy lights hung up to avoid harsh lighting, lots of soft blankets and pillows and all his plushy friends, Ranpo’s clothes, a miniature bed for Karl of course too! Poe will go in and burrow around, making himself nice and comfortable. I think he’d go hide in his nest if he’s feeling overwhelmed, sometimes not even wanting Ranpo in there with him. But Ranpo will be patient, sitting nearby through the open door, eventually Poe will want affection, and Ranpo will be there to give it

༘⋆ Karl! Everyone’s favorite raccoon. And Poe’s favorite playmate! Poe spends a lot of time making a special spot in his nest for Karl. If Karl ever doesn’t want to cuddle Poe will absolutely start bawling. He just wants snuggles with his bestest bud ｡°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°｡ He also does everything with Karl! Whenever it’s time to eat he insists that Karl gets a little plate (Ranpo makes sure it’s food safe for raccoons of course), even if Poe is getting fed a bottle of warm milk! He insists that they fill a little dish with milk so Karl can have a snack time with him! This has in the past led to Poe saying he’s hungry even of he isn’t because he thinks that Karl wants a snack. Luckily Ranpo is the worlds greatest detective and can figure out what’s going on to reassure him that Karl doesn’t need a snack every 2 minutes

✦ Snacks! Ranpo is viewed as the magic man because he always has snacks. Ranpo can dump out whole piles of candies and Poe gets to rummage around to find the ones he wants! Or they get to play a game! Poe will tackle Ranpo to the ground, searching his caretakers pockets for alllll the yummy snacks. He of course finds them, so many of them. Ranpo will sit up and gently scratch Poe behind the ears, going through each candy one by one and explaining if they’re safe to share with Karl, and if not then why not. Poe is sad of course, but he’ll usually just give those candy’s to Ranpo (Ranpo knows he does this and plans accordingly, the ones not safe for raccoons are usually the ones he actually wants)

༘⋆ Poe loves to watch Pocahontas! Ranpo tries pointing out educational stuff in the movie, or any sort of details, but Poe is only focused on Meeko the raccoon! They usually watch it with a plate of crackers nearby so that Poe can nibble on a cracker along with Meeko! Poe will bounce around to mimic Meeko’s actions to! Yes he had tried to climb on Ranpo’s shoulders, no it did not go well. They settle for Ranpo lying down so that Poe can climb and crawl all over him! This usually just leads to cuddling. If Poe wants attention that he feels he isn’t getting, he’ll lightly scratch or bite at Ranpo’s wrists/hands until he starts petting him! Ranpo finds it adorably amusing

✦ Poe definitely has clothes with a lot of pockets! Cargo pants are a necessary, he’ll carry around a small bag (Or two, or three, or- Ranpo usually stops him before it gets out of hand), he’ll even wear long coats with lots of pockets! He loves going on in the nature, he’s rich after all, he can afford a huge property! Poe will collect just about anything he can get his little claws on! He has an entire shelf in his room just dedicated to his treasures. He’s always so happy to add things to it! Ranpo helps him organize things all nice and neat, however there’s a good chance Poe will rearrange things a million times over just because

Cg Fukuzawa/Littles Dazai & Ranpo & Yosano

I'm so sorry this took so long. I was gonna upload it earlier, but I accidently dropped my phone in water.

Yosano, Ranpo and Dazai had left the Agency early so that Ranpo could stock up on more candy so that he didn't run out. He had convinced Dazai to come by telling him that he would do his work for him, (Ranpo was actually just going to convince Kunikida to do the work,) and Yosano had agreed to go with them because she didn't want to be left out.

Unfortunately, though, whilst they were out,  Yosano had started to feel small. They hurried their shopping up, getting less sweets than Ranpo would have liked, but he didn't mind if it meant that Yosano would be more comfortable going back to the Agency instead of being small in public. 

Once they got back to the Agency, though, it was empty. No one was there besides the three that had just arrived. Ranpo glanced around nervously. He was also beginning to feel small and he could tell that Dazai was beginning to as well. 

All three of them were regressed and there was nobody else around. They huddled together in the middle of the room, tears beginning to form in their eyes as they sat there, not knowing what to do.

Just then, the main door of the office squeaks open, and Fukuzawa walks in, all three littles' attention on him immediately. Fukuzawa picks up on what is happening and makes his way over to the three, crouching down in front of them. 

"Are you okay?" He asks. Giving no answer, Ranpo and Yosano launch themselves at Fukuzawa, and he catches them, even though he is caught slightly  off guard. Dazai just continues to sit on the floor, though, watching the other two littles. Fukuzawa glances over at Dazai. "Are you okay?" He repeats his question, and Dazai nods. "Okay. It's getting  late. Let's go to the dorms." Fukuzawa suggests, and the littles agree.

Getting up, Yosano took Fukuzawa's left hand whilst Ranpo took his right and Dazai took a fistful of the back of Fukuzawa's shirt. Fukuzawa lead all three littles back to the dorms and into his own, as even though in their own dorms they did have little gear, they only had their own, but inside Fukuzawa's dorm, they all had little gear.

"Okay, let's get you all into comfy clothes, hm?" Fukuzawa suggested which got hums of agreement from Yosano and Ranpo and a nod from Dazai. Fukuzawa got out three onesies. One was purple for Yosano, another was green for Ranpo, and the last one was blue for Dazai. Fukuzawa colour coordinated all their little gear like that. All the purple gear was Yosano's, all the green gear was Ranpo's, and all the blue gear was Dazai's.

Dazai tugged on Fukuzawa's sleeve. Fukuzawa glanced down at him. "Yes, Dazai? What do you need?" Fukuzawa asked. "Paci?" Dazai asked shyly. "You want your paci? Of course, I'll go get it for you now." Fukuzawa was about to go and get Dazai's pacifier, but before he could, Ranpo ran off and came back with a blue pacifier, holding it out to Dazai. Dazai smiled at Ranpo and thanked him before taking the pacifier. 

Fukuzawa smiled at Ranpo, ruffling his hair. "Thank you for helping." He said. Ranpo returned the smile before running over to Yosano who was colouring. He took a seat beside her and she handed him a picture and crayons. Dazai crawled over over to the two and was handed a picture and crayons as well. 

The three stayed like that for a while,  Yosano and Ranpo talking to each other whilst Dazai babbled along. Soon, Dazai started to grow tired and abandoned his picture which had actually just become a paper filled with colourful squiggles. He crawled over to Yosano and cuddled into her side as she continued to colour her picture in.

Ranpo was the next to decide that he had finished colouring and he decided to give the picture to Fukuzawa. He smiled proudly as Fukuzawa took the picture. It was obvious that Ranpo had tried to keep the crayon inside the lines but had been unsuccessful. "Well done. It's really good." Fukuzawa said as he ruffled Ranpo's hair. Ranpo giggled happily and ran back to Yosano, who had finished colouring and was holding a sleeping Dazai in her arms. 

Ranpo quickly sits down and hugs Yosano, cuddling against her. Dazai whines and clings to Yosano tighter, having been woken up by Ranpo. Yosano glares at Ranpo who gives her an apologetic look but doesn't let go of her. She sighs, cuddling both of them. 

Ranpo can feel himself dropping smaller and whines. He looks at Dazai who still has his own paci. Ranpo wants his paci! Ranpo whines again. Yosano glances at him in concern. "What's wrong?" She asks just as Fukuzawa crouches down next to them to check why Ranpo was whining.

"Paci!" Ranpo whines. Fukuzawa nods, getting up and leaving the room, coming back shortly after with a green pacifier for Ranpo. Ranpo happily accepts it. "Thank oo..." He thanked. "You're welcome." Fukuzawa said. Ranpo placed the pacifier in his mouth, sucking on it to soothe himself.

"I'm sleepy." Yosano stated. "Do you want to go to bed?" Fukuzawa asked. Ranpo quickly shook his head as Yosano nodded, and Dazai nodded tiredly as well. "Well the other two want to go to bed, Ranpo, you should go as well." Fukuzawa stated. Ranpo whined, shaking his head. "I'll read you a story." Fukuzawa coaxed. Ranpo perked up before nodding.

Yosano stood up, Dazai still in her arms and started walking to the bedroom. "Are you fine with carrying him?" Fukuzawa asked. Yosano nodded. "I'm fine." She said. Fukuzawa nodded, turning his attention back on Ranpo. 

"Come on, let's go." Fukuzawa started towards the bedroom, gesturing for Ranpo to follow. Ranpo just whined, still sitting on the floor. Fukuzawa turned back to ask what was wrong, but before he could, Ranpo made grabby hands for him. Fukuzawa smiled and picked Ranpo up, carrying him to the bedroom.

Once all three littles were comfy in bed, Fukuzawa started to reading as promised. Dazai, who had already been drifting in and out of sleep fell asleep first followed by Ranpo. Yosano was able to stay awake until Fukuzawa finished the book, drifting off to sleep shortly after.

HOW I THINK THE BSD SHIPS ARE AS AGE REGRESSORS

Fyolai

Fyodor regresses to 2-5. He is shy, quiet, and clingy. He enjoys nap time and "cooking" (he thinks he is bigger than he is). He calls Nikolai 'jester' as a title. Sometimes "Mr." And "Sir"

Nikolai regresses to 10-12. He is yappy, over dramatic, and needs activities and attention. He enjoys putting on puppet shows and making crafts with Fyo. He calls Fyo "Sir"

Dazai/Chuuya

Dazai regresses to 4-8. He is whiny and throws a lot of tantrums. He enjoys breaking stuff and playing with toys that aren't his. He calls Chuuya his big brother or just whines

Chuuya regresses to 12-15. He is mean and likes to shop at the mall and play video games. He wont use any title for Dazai out of spite.

RanPoe -

Ranpo regresses to 2-3. He is a babbly clingy toddler who likes doodling and clinging to Poe's leg. He also loves little sweets. He refers to Poe as his name, Sir, or Mr. Poe

Poe regresses to 8-10. He enjoys writing (ofc) and watching movies and playing board games. He is also INCREDIBLY clingy. He is constantly tugging on his clothes trying to get kisses. He calls Ranpo "Detective or Mr. Detective"

Teccho/Jouno

Teccho regresses to a dog, probably some sort of shepher or doberman. He is always at Jouno's feet. Jouno is soft with him and gives him treats, pets, and trains him. They go out and he has a collar on (but it's a subtle chain) and basically acts as a guard/guide dog for Jouno.

Jouno regresses to a kitten. A cuddly princess kitten. That is all

Bsd characters that I think canonically age regress

Whether or not it's done on purpose, there's a few bsd characters that have scenes that could fit with them being age regressors!

1) Ranpo

The most obvious age regressor. He's the oldest ADA member (after Fukuzawa) but still indulges in childish things and has tantrums sometimes.

And even when he was 14 he started regressing when he finally had a guardian, like asking Fukuzawa to pick him up and expecting treats from him.

Even at 14, Fukuzawa took care of Ranpo more like he was a young child.

2) Chuuya

I'll never be convinced that Chuuya doesn't age regress and this Wan chapter plays a big part in that. I know wan isn't technically canon but I find it more fun to see it as semi- canon at least.

- Loses an important (/comfort) item

- spaces out and asks for his mother

- cries and has a temper tantrum on the floor

3) Lucy

Fitzgerald is of course a girldad and let's Lucy indulge like the little princess she is.

She's allowed to bring as many dolls and plush toys as she wants!

She names all her dolls and even brings the adults into her game by giving them doll names.

Also there's the older Guild members parenting Lucy, with Fitzgerald listening to her ramble about her ideas and the other man having to be the strict parent and tell her to tidy up her toys.

Honestly I can see most of the bsd cast being age regressors! But these three stand out to me because they have actual scenes that could show them as age regressors.

Little!Ranpo and Cg!Fukuzawa headcannons

• Ranpo would always be up for playing detective games and solving puzzles. Fukuzawa would try to play along with him, always making the little giggle from how silly he would look.

• Ranpo would be the kid who always asks "why?" and have a huge curiosity about everything. Fukuzawa would be always trying to explain everything to him.

• Ranpo would have a collection of toy magnifying glasses and detective hats.

^ He'd be a master at hide and seek, too, always wanting to be the one to look for Fukuzawa, since he always wins!

• Ranpo would be full of energy, always finding ways to entertain himself and others, so he would try to annoy Fukuzawa while he works if he gets bored.

• Fukuzawa would act as the responsible dad as always, but he would be a little more careful depending on the age Ranpo regresses to.

^ If Ranpo ever gets too tired or overstimulated, he will let him sit oh his lap on his chair with a pacifier and just quietly play games with him for him to calm down.

i associate ranpo with blue and puppies so i added those elements to the moodboard! i think ranpo as a regressor would have an even bigger sweet tooth than when hes big! his caregiver (fukuzawa in my mind, but whoever you wanna imagine!) would insist on him brushing his teeth and hed always whine and complain because he wants candy, not toothpaste! so i think he has one of those sticker reward sheets for things like brushing his teeth. i need to make little ranpo headcanons… so much potential.

Regressor Poe and Caregiver Ranpo!!

♡I think Poe would regress to around 1-4, not really regressing older than that!

♡Poe would probably be pretty quiet while he's regressed, but thats no problem for the worlds best detective! I'd imagine Ranpo is really good at reading Poes body language, even more so when he's regressed and not trying to hide his wants!

♡Raccoons everywhere. Pacis, Bottles, outfits. Ranpo found one thing Poe loves and ran with it, not that Poes complaining.

♡Although Ranpo isn't the best with feelings he tries! And it really isn't that hard to calm down a baby Poe.

♡Poe probably usually listens to calming music like lullabies or instrument covers of his favorite songs!

♡Ranpo probably wouldn't come up with any fancy nicknames, he would probably just call him 'ed' 'poe' 'eddy' and occasional 'Baby'!

♡The only thing Poe really says while he's regressed is 'Ran' and 'Karl', because his caregiver and his raccoon are his main priorities when regressed!

♡He probably has a ton of pictures books and trys to read them on his own! Its harder for him when he's regressed younger so he needs help from Ranpo!

♡I think he'd try to be more independent while regressed, he definitely wants to do most things on his own but most of the time he ends up getting help from his caregiver!

♡Ranpo doesn't realize that Poe doesn't need to eat a lot of sugar while regressed, Poe may not get super hyper but he will definitely have trouble going down for a nap, and that makes him a fussy baby.

I love regressor Poe, he needs more content :( This is once again self-indulgent, I just can't help myself when it comes to my comfort characters (^^;)

Hear me out... Ranpo as a regressor when him and Fukuzawa have just met. Learning to trust each other - aurghhh ! (thwomp from Mario noise).

I AM SO HEARING YOU OUT. I love their relationship, they are so regressor and caregiver coded… THAT PICTURE FROM THE WAN. THAT ENTIRE EPISODE FROM THE WAN

Little Ranpo + Caregiver Fukuzawa (Beginnings)

✦ Big Ranpo can deduce anything. World’s greatest detective! So he knows Fukuzawa wouldn’t judge him. He knows Fukuzawa would help him. But he also knows that Fukuzawa has no idea what age regression is. And the idea of needing to explain it is so nauseating… Just thinking about it has pushed him into a tantrum before. Overall it seems much easier to just not. He can take care of himself! He’s perfectly capable!

★ However… Baby Ranpo isn’t quite as good with his deduction skills. Maybe he miscalculated? He’s been dropping less often, so it was harder to pull himself out of headspace. He was down for longer than he usually is… And Fukuzawa came home. And saw him. Sitting on the grounding sucking on his thumb and clutching a blanket, like a baby. What would Fukuzawa think? In his regressed state he couldn’t get into the presidents head to figure it out. Not knowing things is so frustrating. It makes him feel stupid. It wasn’t long before the meltdown started, big fat tears streaming down the little one’s face. Everything just felt like too much!

✦ Fukuzawa was certainly stunned by this. He wouldn’t have really questioned the boys behavior. Blankets can be nice for anyone. Sucking on his thumb? Perhaps some form of oral fixation? Ranpo is clearly autistic and the two can be related (NOT IN A SEXUAL WAY IN THIS SITUATION). But bursting into tears? Something is wrong. And now Fukuzawa has to do something. He can’t just leave Ranpo like this…

★ All Fukuzawa has to do is calm him down. Ranpo tends to shut down a lot when he gets overstimulated with work, perhaps this is similar? So Fukuzawa simply pats Ranpo on the head (They’ve discussed previously that touch like that is ok to avoid unnecessary communication during stressful times) and sits down next to him. Fukuzawa does a gentle groan as he sits, maybe he mutters a small complaint about his back or his knees… And Ranpo calms down because... That’s the presidents biggest concern? Not him acting like a big baby?

✦ Fukuzawa just calmly talks to Ranpo to soothe him, maybe placing a hand on and gently rubbing the boys shoulder. He doesn’t ask, simply talks about how his day was, praises Ranpo on whatever work was done that day… Tiny things. And eventually Ranpo calms down! But Ranpo knows he can’t explain well right now, so he whines that he’s tired, he’s trying really hard to talk normal too “‘M sleepy… Talk in… Mornin’?” Fukuzawa of course agrees, gently tucking Ranpo into bed

★ In the morning Ranpo swallows his anxieties and approaches the president, and he explains. He knows that Fukuzawa doesn’t know what age regression is so he explains, then says that he is a regressor. Fukuzawa certainly seems confused, but he almost immediately offers to take care of Ranpo when he’s like that. He’s already taking care of the boy in so many ways… What’s one more going to matter? Ranpo, relieved that it didn’t take them long to get to this point, gladly accepts

✦ Once Ranpo knows Fukuzawa is willing to take care of him he starts relying on him more! Unless he knows the president is busy. He doesn’t want to be a bother! Many times Fukuzawa has walked into a room to find Ranpo curled up sucking on his thumb, Fukuzawa has to explain over and over that even if he’s busy he still wants to take care of Ranpo. It’s like a break for both of them. Breaks are important. Besides finding Ranpo like this only makes him feel bad, Ranpo doesn’t want that of course

★ So much cat stuff! As Fukuzawa starts looking at little things, he’s drawn to cat themed items… Ranpo liked cats right? He didn’t hate them at the very least. Good enough. Occasionally he’ll get something candy themed but it’s mostly cats, with Fukuzawa as a caregiver Ranpo learns to love cats. Before he thought they were ok? After Fukuzawa starts taking care of him though it’s like an obsession. Fukuzawa’s love for cats is contagious

✦ Ranpo definitely has sensory issues! So Fukuzawa is very careful to pick out soft gentle clothes for him! Ranpo can get overwhelmed easily. Whether it’s because of textures, work, sounds, meltdowns are very common! Fukuzawa knows to get him into a comfortable and familiar environment (Usually Fukuzawa’s office) then just lets him calm down! Things like noise cancelling headphones are always at the ready!

★ I think Fukuzawa likes just sitting with his little one, this definitely applies to Ranpo! Fukuzawa can sit at a desk doing paperwork and Ranpo curls up under the desk, leans against Fukuzawa’s legs and watches a cartoon! Whenever he goes to make the little one a drink he’ll also make himself tea! Once Ranpo tried the tea thinking he was being sneaky… He instantly spit it out and started crying because it didn’t taste sweet enough for him ( ">﹏< ) Of course he was given hot cocoa to wash out the yucky taste!

✦ At first Fukuzawa tried getting Ranpo to eat less sweets! But he quickly gave up on that, it was just miserable. Instead he pushes brushing teeth, and makes deals! He’ll allow Ranpo to have sweets, but Ranpo has to eat something healthy first! Ranpo still eats far too many sweets from Fukuzawa’s perspective, but at least he knows Ranpo is being healthy enough to make up for it!

★ I genuinely almost forgot nicknames… My favorite part. Nicknames time right at the end then! Fukuzawa definitely uses nicknames like “Baby” “Little One” and “Sweetie”! Classics, but they make Ranpo feel so happy and tiny! I think Ranpo either calls Fukuzawa “Fufu” or “Zawa” either one works! Sometimes he’ll say “Dada” but not too often? He gets embarrassed when he says that one hehe

I know there is a criminal lack (by lack I mean none) of sweets in this but I wanted to focus on something other than those with this because of course Ranpo likes sweets ^^!

Agere headcanons about him under the cut!

I think he'd also regress quite little, not as little as Atsushi but little nonetheless. 4-6 maybe.

Despite what I see other people say, I think he'd be shy about his regression. As someone who's always been the "mature beyond their years" type I definitely find it a little embarrassing sometimes even though it shouldn't be. Kind of like "I shouldn't feel this way".

Fukuzawa would definitely be his caregiver, no questions about that. And probably the only one he'd really want to regress around.

If he ends up slipping and Fukuzawa isn't around though, he goes to Yosano and then Dazai in that order. And if those two aren't around and he's feeling brave he'll head over to Kunikida. He told Yosano at some point and she had already kind of puzzled him out, and Dazai had taken one look at him one of the afternoons he wasn't masking well and thought, "yep, he's like me". (I hc Dazai as a regressor as well, though I think he could also take on a caregiver role semi-easily if in the right headspace). With Kunikida, Ranpo had figured out that he wouldn't mind at all if he asked him for help, he just prefers to go to the other two first.

I think he'd enjoy kid's mystery novels when little, (like for kids 8-10) , and writes his deductions for them out in a little notebook with crayon. Never wrong in his predictions. Also enjoys puzzles! Solves them quite quick, likes small ones (like 500 pieces).

I think he'd also enjoy colourful baths, lots of toys, bubbles, bath bombs, etc. totally loves them.

Also aquariums! Take him to an aquarium regressed or not and you'll be his favourite person forever (exaggeration).

Extra sensitive to sensory input when little. Especially noise. One "shrieking" noise and it's crying time.

Of course he still loves sweets. Maybe even more. Doesn't want to eat anything but them. Whoever his caregiver is would have to goad him into eating something healthy with the promise of a small sweet afterward. Grilled cheese sandwiches often go over well without any bribery needed though.

Actually pretty low needs when little! Would prefer to have all your attention forever, yes, but is mostly content to sit and read or do puzzles.
