Under Deepspace 07: Moonlight Under Sea, pt 1-11

01: Investigation: Using the high-level access, FMC manages to find a news article from two years ago; a man shot and killed in his apartment, with no evidence about anything. After listening to the recording*1 and viewing the video, she gets an offer to take a bounty: the bounty on Qi Yu's head.

02: Canvas Enigmas: FMC heads to Qi Yu's place, where she finds him on the floor. Luckily he's not dead, only asleep. All over the floor are sketches, each labeled with 'Lemuria.' When Qi Yu wakes up, he asked FMC to help him up; if she chooses to, Qi Yu yanks her to the floor, and they go out to eat. While at lunch with Qi Yu, FMC lets him know there's a bounty on his head in/from the N109 Zone, which he is already aware of.*2 He also notes that someone has been following them, and the two of them make plans to give the pursuer the slip.

03: Secret Tracking: As it turns out, their follower is a reporter, looking for gossip re: Qi Yu's possible involvement in Raymond's death by drowning, as his painting vanished from Raymond's room without anyone else being in or out. There were also rumors that Raymond had cut up the skin of his arms and legs to look like fish scales. After some sufficient threatening, Qi Yu lets the reporter go with the suggestion that he make up for his reckless behavior by finding out who exactly has been spreading the rumors/trying to cover up information in the first place.

04: Under the Waves: FMC and Qi Yu have a quiet moment in a sky garden; Qi Yu mentions that he daydreams in his studio all the time, and has difficulty remembering what the real world is actually like. He thanks FMC for "bringing (him) out of his dreams today." When FMC begins to leave, Qi Yu reminds her that they still haven't gone to find a replacement for the coral stones for his paintings. FMC is less than enthused, until Qi Yu offers his help to get her into N109. He says, "when you see the big picture, you need to use some bait... Trade intel for intel, gamble to make gambles with higher stakes. But whether or not you can play the game is up to you." He tells her that if she decides she wants to go through with it, she can meet him at Whitesand Bay the next day. She goes, of course; as it turns out, and according to Thomas, Qi Yu has rented a rowboat "for a date."

05: Set Sail: Qi Yu and FMC head for Hat Island*3 while conversing about how Qi Yu is going to try and obtain a protocore to make paint. There's some exasperated banter, and just after making a comment about how he'd rather swim, the trip is interrupted by a very sudden incoming wave. The two of them arrive at Hat Island somewhat worse for wear. Interestingly, FMC says she's the reason they made it to shore in the first place, while Qi Yu announces that "(he'd) rather float in the sea than be on land."

06: Spring Excursion: On the island, FMC explains field trips to Qi Yu, and he suggests that FMC resonate with the coral to see if she can pick up any Metaflux fluctuations; he stops her from accidentally breaking it, and assists her in resonating; he says, "Everything in this world has a unique, unmatchable frequency. That's why each life is isolated. But your Evol allows you to change your frequency. You can resonate with others. If you open your heart, you can establish a connection. And share your power."*4 It works, which visibly startles Qi Yu, and some Wanderers show themselves.

07: COMBAT

08: Weak Fiends: Qi Yu gives FMC the protocore they obtained. FMC is surprised that her resonating with the coral had any effect at all; she and Qi Yu decide to camp for the night. A cat with a metaflux injury makes itself known. Qi Yu is extremely upset about it.

09: Withstanding the Storm: FMC drags Qi Yu to find the cat, which scratches him. Almost immediately, a 'Deluge Wyrmlord' arrives. It attacks, and Qi Yu splits the water with his Evol. He says, "Guess you like my blood a lot more, huh? Sorry to break it to you, but my fire can never be extinguished."*5

10: COMBAT

11: Indomitable Spirit: After defeating the Wanderer, FMC and QI Yu are dragged out into the ocean; seeing Qi Yu in the water, FMC tries to head toward him. After a brief exchange (and a flashback scene where Qi Yu says, "It's settled then. If you don't return, I'll... I'll chase you to the ends of the Earth.") FMC starts to sink, and Qi Yu is going to let her. He only hesitates because he 'hears' FMC ask him not to go. A little red fish appears over his heart. He reaches her, and says, "You forgot everything. Yet, you still insist... All right... This is your choice." His eyes flash completely blue, instead of their usual blue-pink, and we are given a glimpse of his 'real' Lemurian body as he heads towards the surface.

*1, In hindsight, we will recognize this voice as Qin Che. It's likely that the two people with him are Luke and Kieran. *2, See World Underneath: Long Lost Treasures. *3, The MERMAN is taking his (probably) Long Lost Love out on a goddamn ROWBOAT. Just so we're all on the same page. *4, I believe this is the cleanest explanation of what exactly FMC's Evol is truly capable of, so far. *5, It can be universally agreed that it's a bit strange for the mermaid to have fire Evol, though that doesn't explain why the Wanderer appears after Qi Yu's blood, specifically. There may be some background lore happening there; also, I'm not entirely sure the English translation is 100% accurate.

ssso my good friend pastell @startagainaprologue mentioned it was struggling with making a human design for the guide and i rubbed my hands together evilly and got to work. aaaaa this was super fun to work on!!!!! thankyou again for letting me draw this graaaa. as always my deranged character design ramblings are below the cut 👍

CHARACTER DESIGN BLAST

most of guide’s colors are slightly shifted to be closer to red and more… desaturated? my default bonnie colors clashed with the palette i usually use for guide so they got changed slightly. i did add the blue on the sash as a reference to my nille design however! and i tend to use cooler colors to represent countries outside of vaugarde, so you could interpret it as a link to the island. if you so desire :3

speaking of the sash, just about everything they’re wearing here is based on another character!! in this case, it’s meant to resemble nille’s waist sash! but with a different pattern. something something only having an imitation of what it lost. the stars are meant to represent siffrin and loop, and also just the universe in general. fun stuff!

i mostly just made their shirt longer for the sake of looking Different from normal bonnie? but combined with the sash it has the fun bonus of having a silhouette similar to siffrin’s cloak. not full intentional but hey! i’ll take it!

the gems on its tail are there to represent odile!! as well as referencing the ka buan tradition of compressing ashes into diamonds. you can draw your own conclusions there! and they go ding ding when it walks :3

the hat/halo isss probably self explanatory? it’s a way to fit guide’s Spiky Head into the design. the halo was added pafter pastell drew buns version of the design auau. i like both! so their hat can be whatever shape you please.

okay! nno more talking about clothes i promise. similar to my ghostlight loop design, i gave it spikier hair!! i have to give sponsors spiky hair to resemble their Spiky Heads. it’s the law. their hair was supposed to be shorter but. i’m pretty sure this is the exact same length i usually draw bonnie’s hair. oops? oh well it looks cute. the stars are honestly just there for fun i didn’t have anything specific in mind

in a similar vein, i changed their eye shape to match the eye shape on guide’s ref! perpetually Sad Looking. on the bright side they aren’t constantly crying anymore!

thheir body is. mostly the same? i decided to make their body Red Tinted for the sake of consistency and i removed the separated limbs aaand. that’s basically it? not much to say! i did add the halo bracelet around their wrist as a callback to the separation though. i didn’t do the same for its shoulder because i am Lazy 🩶

Hello! A bit of a silly question, but are there any iconic or standout Johnny or Peter outfits from the comics? For Johnny, ones that aren’t Fantastic Four uniforms specifically. Hope you’re having a good day/night! I love reading ur comic rambles !

Oh, the outfits. Not sure if these are what you wanted by iconic or standout, but these are the ones I think about a lot.

So, on his own, Peter's not the most interesting dresser, but he's not bad at it, either.

This is a pretty typical look for him -- Turtleneck with this style of jacket, pants, hiking boots. It works for him, but there's a practical aspect here, too, because he can wear the Spider-Man costume under this combination without anyone being aware. (They put him in short sleeves too much today!)

He's had some outfits though. Some looks. Some better than others.

(ASM #311) "Le Derriere jeans." Let's be fair he's not even trying with this one. At least MJ's pink cowboy getup is cute but he's not even attempting to wear that hat. It's wearing him.

(ASM #299) Bless him he's trying. Barely and badly, but trying. Note to myself that I need to do a McFarlane reread at some point. It's not my favorite period of canon, as evidenced by the fact that this wasn't in my refs and I had to go looking for it.

(ASM #330) I love his stupid anti-Batman tank top. It takes a certain kind of man to be petty across publishing houses.

Thou who doth not make mention of three things -- namely, the red briefs, the Bathrobe Collection, and the animal crop top -- hath not done their duty to Spider-Man fandom. Seriously, why does he own so many of bathrobes. (ASM #299 and Web of Spider-Man #18)

(ASM #249) Imagine you just found out your father murdered one of your best friends in the whole world and one of your other best friends in the whole world shows up to your pool party wearing this.

(ASM #506) But yeah I would say, day to day, he wears a lot of button ups with ties and black turtlenecks. Again, stuff he can hide the costume under. He wore a lot of suits and ties when he was teaching.

In terms of costumes, I really like the black cloth Spider-Man suit, but it's not exactly unusual. I'm pretty conservative with Spider-Man suits, but I do like the Last Stand suit. I feel there's good narrative weight to that one.

(ASM #637) Not in its original context, but a good look at it all the same. Interesting that in Madame Web's vision of what would happen if Peter killed Kraven, he switches to the Last Stand suit. Something worth thinking about potentially. I do wish I liked his Future Foundation suit more than I actually do, but I only really like the black version. The plain white is just kind of boring to me.

Okay, Johnny, though -- Johnny Storm has never met a pattern he wouldn't violently clash up against another pattern. Johnny dresses like a whole circus. Johnny goes to Paris Fashion Week, buys everything, and still ends up on the worst dressed list. Johnny Storm's fashion choices are breathtaking.

(FF #164) "And I don't have to stop for red lights." Okay. Let's take it from the top here. The red ascot, the violently patterned shirt and pants, the fringed jacket with his initials on it. The multiple rings. When I say this outfit has it all I mean it has the whole store.

And do not forget his perfectly coiffed hair, a thing that he woke up with and required no styling whatsoever. ("I've got to do SOMETHING about my hair!" - Fantastic Four #138.)

(FF #191) I actually like this one, I think the maroon suit is cute.

(FF #296) I love his little red scarf and Four jacket. Guest appearance by Alicia/Lyja (this was written pre-retcon but we also have to apply the retcon to past appearances, you know how it is) who is definitely speaking like a human and not a space alien who has gone wildly off script.

(FF #309) Obsessed with this entire scene. "Oh, I'm going to fly down with my brand new wife to Fire Island, a famously gay vacation spot, while wearing my little ankle jeans and nautical striped tank top. Maybe we'll hold hands." Unbelievable.

He also tends to wear a lot of Four-branded and flame print stuff, in general, which is cute. The famous flame print swim trunks, etc.

(Fantastic Four v5 #14) You have to love his Depression Howard the Duck shirt. Context: Peter and Wyatt kidnapped him for his own good.

(Uncanny Avengers #8) I think about his wolf howling at the moon shirt and tiny orange shorts combo from this comic roughly five times a week.

For uniforms that are less common, I really like his gold and black suit, his 2n1 suit, and the black short sleeve variant of his suit from Claremont's run.

(Marvel Two-in-One (2018) #4) I loved this jacket. I wish they'd sold a version of it, I would have bought it.

(Moon Girl #25) Don't trauma dump on the child, Johnny.

(FF v3 #27) This one isn't anything particularly special or anything, I just think it's fun, and I like the boots. They desperately need to take things a step further and let him do his own version of one of Sue's opera glove costumes.

Also please look at this dumb little outfit he made himself when he was sixteen and being manipulated into breaking away from the Fantastic Four.

Uhhh here's a small lore dump (very w.i.p mind you)

Dracule-Whispers Isaac aka "Wild Witch" Isaac, is the 21 year old (19 Pre-TS) Transmasc son of World's Greatest Swordsman, Dracule "Hawkeye" Mihawk, and the deceased infamous witch, Whispers "Sea Witch Zelda" Esmeralda, making Isaac a half-witch. His mother died of unknown causes and for most of Isaac's life Mihawk hadn't even known he was born at all, so he was raised by an older woman named Drew D. Lisa in the East Blue.

Lisa had always told Isaac stories of his mother as well as stories of herself being apart of the Roger Pirates back in her hayday which inspired Isaac to want to become both a pirate and a witch, despite Lisa saying the latter wasn't likely since witches and Witchcraft had been officially deemed extinct after his mom's death.

When he turned 19 Isaac left the comforts of home to pursue a life at sea, hoping to uncover the secrets of his mother's past as well as the secrets behind Witchcraft. He then meets Luffy and Koby who save him from an attempted spell malfunction and shortly after Zoro, Nami, etc.

Due to all the trauma/mental health issues all the Straw Hats have, Isaac is at first as a joke referred to as the crew's emotional support system but he decides to officially take up the mantle, seeing it as a necessity for his crewmates. As he learns to increase and control his magical abilities he also becomes the designated "magic expert"

During the TS/2 Year Seperation he finds a group of four small secret islands of witch refugees concealed in the Florian Triangle called "The Hollow Isles" where he finds comradery and proper magic training in a select group of powerful witches, including Evergreen Amaryllis and Bloodsmith Jasper who become his sworn siblings.

One Piece OC : Magma

Finally! I'm done with Magma's ref sheet! I won't detail her story much here, but here's the main information:

(Quick) Backstory :

Rose D Emily was born in a small island in Grand-Line. Her parents were caring, and she had lots of friends. But when she was 7, she accidentally ate the Radioactive Devil Fruit and destroyed the half of her island.

This accident caught the curiosity of the MADS, who kept the uncontrollable girl with them. During 13 years, Emily, who was nicknamed Magma, sailed with the MADS. She learned a lot about science and technology to become a real scientist herself.

When the World Government dissolved the MADS, Magma choose to stay with Vegapunk and joined the government's research team alongside Caesar too. During 22 years, she worked on Punk Hazard, helping Vegapunk with his research.

When Caesar launched a powerful poison gas that devastated the island, Magma was knockout and disappeared in the chaos.

When Caesar came back on Punk Hazard, Magma was still here. Fortunately for him, she lost her memories and didn't remember who caused the explosion. Caesar lied, telling her it was all Vegapunk's fault. Disappointed, Magma helped Caesar by saving the former prisoners.

2 years later, Magma's memories came back. Remembering the truth, she confronted Caesar. Unfortunately, she wasn't strong enough to face him. Trapped in Punk Hazard, Magma had no choice but stay prisoner. (The power of her Devil Fruit was an asset for Caesar, who decided to keep her.)

2 years later, Magma was saved by Luffy's crew and Law. Feeling responsible for Caesar crimes, she joined them on their journey to keep an eye on him. She'll travel to Dressrosa, Zou and Whole Cake before leaving the Straw Hat.

Her suit was created by Vegapunk to better control her radiations

She is immunized to all forms of poison

Luffy's nicknamed her Firefly because of her glowing hair

She gets on well with Luffy and Sanji

This photo was taken just after she accidentally destroyed a part of her island. (She was 7 yo). After she joined the World Government research team, her bounty was discontinued. Which means this poster is no longer valid.

About the Hōsha Hōsha no Mi:

The Radioactive Fruit gives the ability to its user to produce radiations and control radioactivity. This Fruit was eaten by accident by Rose D Emilly (aka Magma) when she was still a child.

The Hōsha Hōsha no Mi is a powerful Paramecia. Aside manipulate radioactivity, its user is immunized to all forms of poison. Which makes them dreadful against the venom-venom Fruit and most of the life forms. If not carefully used, the radiations can destroy everything in their path. The DNA of the user is also modified by the radiations. Which result to slow down the ageing process of its user. This also has an impact on the physique of its user, like the green glowing hair of Magma for instance.

Because of the incident on her natal island, Magma is afraid of her Devil Fruit capacities. This is why she only uses her power when needed. Therefore, she is able to control her radiations but prefer to wear the suit Vegapunk created for her, just in case. This suit helps her to regulate the intensity of her radiations, without any efforts.

Since The Hōsha Hōsha no Mi have an important impact on the DNA of its user, the MADS have done research on its effects. These researches have greatly helped to discover the Lineage Factor. Later on, Caesar Clown will use the effect of Radioactive Fruit to improve the SAD (while Magma was trapped on Punk Hazard).

One of the weaknesses of the Radioactive Fruit is the cold. Cold temperatures can slow down/stop the fusion of atoms, making the radiations of its user powerless. Which explains why Magma was vulnerable against Punk Hazard weather and Monet's power.

SELF INSERT REF DONE!!!

Took me a long ass time but here we are! Meet Mimi Seabright, Tailor of the Straw Hats!

She's an artist, tailor, and fashion designer! Her biggest dream is to travel to many different islands and study their trends so she can start up her own brand and compete with the big names like Doskoi Panda and Criminal Designs! In her free time she's drawing whatever she likes, including a few of her favourite things- horses, clothing designs, items, vehicles, and maybe a few sketches of Franky >:) just about whatever she finds interesting!

She has the Doodle Doodle fruit, a Paramecia type fruit. Similar to that of Kanjuro's "Draw Draw" fruit, she has the ability to bring her drawings to life, but with a few drawbacks. Unlike the Draw Draw Fruit, she can't summon living things (animals, plants, people), only objects. Similarly, she can't summon objects bigger than a large truck, and all of her drawings must be pre-drawn before combat, as there is a cooldown. This doesn't stop her though, and with Franky's help, she can still get creative with it!

All the way back in March came a crossover idea that wrote itself to me in a surprisingly cohesive manner. Then again, 4,000 hours in Sea of Thieves might just do that to someone with too much time on their hands. Introducing the Delta Warriors who took a wrong turn across the doors and landed in the Sea of Thieves!

The premise of this extra, fictional chapter is our trio sailing across the seas in search of bottles containing pieces of a map leading them to the grey door but finding it won't be so easy. A handful of islands had been shrouded in a green fog during the events of the 2022 SoT Adventures, specifically the very first adventure "Shrouded Islands". It's up to Kris, Susie and Noelle to carefully traverse these dangerous islands while a powerful skeleton lord watches from the shroud.

I'm overwhelmingly happy with the designs I gave these three, some were easier to do than others.

Susie was definitely the easiest to work on as the Dark World did more than half the work for me. But the colors were going all over the place for me, just couldn't find the right set to be cemented. Eventually I decided to give her the purple and gold Pirate Legend appearance while keeping her Dark World belt. She was also able to convince me to keep their appearances simpler compared to the other pirate sprites like Belle and the Servant. Oh, and Roulx did me a favor with that hat of theirs.

I'm about 60/40 on using Noelle's design. On one hand, this goes against the whole "simpler design" I had just mentioned about Susie. On the other hand, the choice of using the SoT tavern keeper design would be a perfect use for Monkey Island shenanigans on Sanctuary Outpost. But to the most keen-eyed, her sprite ref came from 2022 Underevent Trailer.

And finally poor Kris was given the least-popular clothing outfit in Sea of Thieves, the Sea Dog. Going back to the teaser video, I realized there were literally zero proper outfits for Kris to wear so I hope they can forgive me for this one. But I slightly tweaked it so that Kris' bandana (which ISN'T a thing in the game) matched their soul color. Boots and gloves came off of their Dark World gear which matched the Sea Dog set so no issues there.

There's still more spritework to come of this random, alternate chapter, just you wait!

Douglas and Oliver’s beach day🌊🏝🏖⛱

CW: some scenes contains suggestive themes so viewers (you the reader) discretion is advise.

It was a gorgeous day at the beach at the island of sodor. The sun has shone and everyone is doing their activities. Their you see Donald and duck surfing with bill and Ben; Edward playing volleyball with Henry, Gordon, James, skarloey, rusty, rheneas, Peter sam, sir handle and Duncan are having a good time; Thomas, Emily, Rosie, Percy and Toby are making sand castles and there on the other side there’s Oliver at a private beach and he’s just listening to music for just the two of them. Then suddenly, he heard a beautiful and gorgeous Scottish twin waving at him and said “~oh Oliver yoo-hoo” . Oliver’s jaws just dropped and his shades dropped as well when the most gorgeous man who’s name is Douglas and he was wearing a black to navy blue bikini (the bottoms) and wore a tie up beach dress with lace as he sways his hips back and forth with a voluptuous (curvy) figure and his nice busty chest bounces. He was wearing his sunglasses and a floppy hat so his gorgeous black hair won’t be humid, and he was carrying a tote bag that consist of; sunscreen towels, Cosmopolitan magazine, books, his manicure kit , healthy snacks and a hair tie. When he arrived at a private beach , Douglas was taking off his tie up beach dress and Oliver sees his toned body that is to die for. He then grabbed a hair tie and tied his long hair back so it doesn’t get too hot or oily. Afterwards, he placed a towel and he took off his floppy hat ( he still is wearing sunglasses) and he lied down on his back as he soaked up the sun. Oliver on the other hand sees this Scottish beauty sunbathing and his long toned legs moves and he arches his back and Oliver is in heaven now. Soon after, Douglas decided to turn on his stomach and he said “ Oliver, my darling. Will you put sunscreen on my back and get it real good.” Oliver nosebleeds and blushes and he said “Anything for you Douglas.” When Oliver puts on sunscreen on his hands and began rubbing it on Douglas back, he moans for a bit and said “~mmmmmmmn yes, yess oh yess” as he bites his lips and gives Oliver the bedroom eyes. He continue to apply more sunscreen on Douglas until he’s satisfied and soon after he got on top of Oliver and said “ mmmmnh thank my darling Oliver” . The two kissed and kissed until they parted and Oliver said to Douglas “~Douglas, baby you’re the most gorgeous man of all of the island of sodor.” So finally, the two had fun together including playing in the ocean and cuddle/snuggling time. Oliver had the best beach day ever with Douglas. 💚🖤

Under Deepspace 01: To Begin, pt 01-09

01: Deepspace Hunter: FMC goes through the graduation ceremony for Deepspace Hunters; she meets her coworker Tara. Her Evol is unstable due to a childhood injury/Wanderer attack, though it is recognized as Anhaunsen Class, Resonance. This isn't a surprise to her.

02: Mysterious Light: FMC and Tara go into the abandoned research base to inspect an abnormal Metaflux explosion. FMC encounters Shen Xinghui, who appears to be injured. The two of them fend off a Wanderer, during which a collar of blue/red light appears and disappears around Shen Xinghui's neck.

03: COMBAT

.

04: Heart Towards Resonance: FMC and Shen Xinghui defeat the Wanderer; Shen Xinghui destroys the protocore. FMC wants to leave; Shen Xinghui says they've been trapped in the space. FMC determines that the Wanderers are Luminivores. She speculates that the situation could be a trap set specifically for Shen Xinghui, or that he might be bait instead of prey. ("I'm just a normal hunter. You don't need to look too deeply into it," he says like a lying liar who lies.) In order to defeat/escape the Luminivores, Shen Xinghui and FMC resonate; this involves putting her hand over his heart.

05: Light Fades: FMC and Shen Xinghui defeat all the Wanderers. FMC realizes she's never experienced an Evol Resonance so strong before. Shen Xinghui asks FMC not to mention him to anyone and shortly thereafter vanishes into thin air. She notes that Shen Xinghui being in the research base likely wasn't a coincidence.

06: UNICORNS: Upon arriving back at the headquarters, FMC and other recruits are debriefed by Jenna, and are assigned to their departments. Tara goes to Data Analysis under Andrew, and FMC is assigned to Alpha Team under Jenna. They go out to eat in Azure Square. Tara explains how she looks up to Jenna for saving her. FMC flashes back to fourteen years ago, remembers sprinting through the ruined streets, a sharp pain moving into/through her heart. There is a makeshift shelter in sight, and a tiny seedling breaking through the soil. FMC is accosted by a small child (Lucas) who wants her help with something; he offers to give her a full set of Super Hunters AR cards, complete with the limited edition Hunter Lux.

07: Ripples: Lucas wants FMC to catch a fish for him, but runs off after he gets caught for cheating. Qi Yu appears, and says the fish will only survive a week on land. He's carrying a pamphlet about Hat Island, which is closed due to Wanderer activity. He catches the fish, which he says is a real Flammula from Lemurian legend. FMC gives him the fish to take home, saying she hopes it survives longer with him. Qi Yu leaves before FMC can finish her sentence about Whitesand Bay and at 6:15pm, FMC realizes she's late for her doctor's appointment.

08: Doctor: FMC goes to Akso Hospital for her check-in with Li Shen. The two of them bicker about her being ten seconds from a no-show; FMC asks if he really needs to be that precise ("I can't believe you're just sitting there and counting down. What are you, a ticking time bomb or something?") FMC speculates that his "vacation" was actually a trip to the Arctic to work on a secret project; Li Shen tells her not to be nosy. He checks her heart; she hopes he hasn't noticed anything is off. They banter a bit, but things end amicably.

09: Rainfall Curtain: At home, FMC contemplates her first day as a Deepspace Hunter. She gets a call from Caleb, her childhood friend who is a member of the Deepspace Aviation Administration. She tells him not to jinx himself. FMC looks out into the rain and sees a gigantic, quasi-mechanical looking red eye staring back at her. It vanishes in an instant.

It's especially interesting that FMC refers to Li Shen as a 'ticking time bomb,' especially in regards to what we find out re: his Evol, and his desire to be able to stop himself 'when (he) becomes a threat to her.' 2. The eye FMC sees in 09 is almost identical to the eye seen in The Nest, and is the colors associated with Qin Che.

Blaze probably just goes trough anything he thinks looks interesting without necessarily joining a scene. One of his later crew mates dresses like a Victorian goth and sometimes he will get bored and be like „I’m bored. Can I try and put on your corset?“ „No because you’re gonna hurt yourself …. So I’M gonna do it. How do you feel about eyeshadow?“ „Tastes awful but looks good on me.“ „Alright then its makeover time.“

To answer you :

First of all, Red' don't keep any pictures of her past - to Buggy's big despair. So the poor little clown don't have any weapon to fight back! However I can easily imagine that one day the big top will anchor on an island where the crew will randomly meet someone from Reddie's past. Buggy will jump on them and ask them a TON of questions.

As you spotted, Rory has a soft for steampunk aesthetic - big fan of Jules Vernes (yes I HC that a version of Jules Vernes exist in one piece), dreaming about flying machines, obsessed by the idea to go on Skypiea because that's a land you can't reach by the sea. He's also the one of the triplets who cares the most about being ~ classy ~ . A real little dandy! He probably got through some victorian goth phase when he was like 14. When he get the outfit you can see on the ref, everyone in the family and the crew was like "o_o guys is Rory wearing COLORS?!!"

Skye is the one of the triplets who embrace the most the clowncore vibe, probably crafting herself some outfits in her father's old clothes. By the years she finally went ok with her nose, however she still feels the need to compensate with the rest of her outfit, copying her father's crossbones makeup for exemple. She will change her look when she will reach early adulthood (19-20 years old), and yes there is a meaning behind the undercut she got! you can speculate but I won't confirm or deny anything ehe 🤡

When it comes to clothing, Blaze only has two criteria : comfort and color. His hyperactive ass always run, jump, climb anywhere soooo he quickly learned to chose robust clothing that is easy to evolve with. But bright colors! Bright colors always catch his eyes! He's like a magpie! He also kept his beanie hat while growing up, and attempted to wear it with pigtails like his daddy do with his captain hat. He lose one teeth after a bait with Rory, too. Thinking this would make him look more like Buggy, but this dumbass did it the wrong side. His bracelets are very important too, but you'll understand why later! Also, I like your idea of him trying anything (and tasting eyeshadows which. Let's be honest. He did. At 16 years old. And after too.), especially some goth things. I think Blaze is mostly aroace, but if one day he should have a " planotic lovestory" this would be with someone who has a black cat energy, and he probably won't realize he's in a relationship. A gothy teen just appear in his life and it's somehow funny to kiss them, apparently they decided he was their boyfriend now? hey, why not.

Clothing, this has proven a topic of flux in the development of the story. I'll include the original answers I gave concerning clothing style below, but I think it's about time I updated this for you all, as things have changed...

Where the world is currently:

I use a little source document to keep track of clothing, so for the most part I'll be copy pasting the text from that into the post. It's quite cliff notes style, but it gets the important information across and the reasons for various stylistic choices.

Quick terms breakdown for those not 100% up to date with the wider lore around the story.

The Four Shores is a collection of four realms containing Diota, Eard, Jǫkull, and Þinda, located on a collection of islands widely considered north of pretty much everything else. Eard is the realm in which the story of Myrk Mire and TBT takes place.

A Wealdend is a leader within the rulership structures used in the Four Shores, a male wealdend is called a Cyning, a female a Cwén, and nonbinary individuals use the Wealdend title itself.

The Riverlands is a separate region on the Southern Continent, with little to no political, social, or cultural ties to the Four Shores.

Falatu is another island in the north, but not a member of the Four Shores. They have sympathetic political and cultural systems, but maintain their own very separate identity in comparison to their unified neighbours.

The Eahtung is a ruling collective of skilled individuals who work alongside the Wealdend. More information than this would open up a deep rabbit hole...

"Warmth is everything to the Four Shores, so layers are favoured.

Rather than high necklines, shawls are favoured, these decorated with swirling patterns.

Lacking a clearly defined nobility, showing evidence of one’s craft or skill is favoured higher than material expense. A metal smith would display their skill by wearing more metal upon their outfit, a weaver a more elaborate hemming, a woodworker finely carved beads.

Amber is the sole reserve of the Wealdend, and should not be worn by anyone else.

All have their ears pierced, women both ears, men just one, others may choose. Rings are worn here, usually made of silver or gold, often times studded with gems.

Everyone wears stringed beads about their necks. These beads can be ceramic, wooden, bone, metal, or stone.

There is no shame in underdresses or tunics being shown.

Women wear linen underdresses, typically white, with woollen overdresses secured at the shoulders with preónas or brooches and lacing at the sides. The lacing only extends as far at the hips, and the overdress is either slit long these lines without further lacing, or it is one unified flair of fabric.

Men wear mid-thigh length linen undershirts with woollen overshirts that are slightly shorter. In colder months this is supplemented by a wraparound jacket secured by belts or ties. Men also wear trousers of ankle length similar to the Riverlands, but these are secured by fur, or cloth wraps up to the mid-calf.

Everyone wears calf height boots. In the winter months these are fur lined.

 Everyone wears belts.

Hair is traditionally worn long by all genders, and is braided back from the face and tied in horse tails or buns at the back of the head.

Hoods and hats are used out of doors in colder seasons, but it is seen as rude to continue to wear these coverings indoors as it implies that the host does not keep their home warm enough to be comfortable.

The finest of outfits are hemmed with embroidered banding, these vary from simplistic geometric patterns, to full scenes of foliage or animals.

Bracelets are seldom worn, favoured more by the peoples from Falatu, and rings are only really worn as a symbol of office, guild status, or position as Wealdend. The Tug Stone rings are the sole use of the Wealdend, Eahtung and the respective heads of each province.

The ruling families align themselves to animals incorporating them into their surnames, once picked, they cannot wear anything taken from that animal. Otherwise furs are used to line apparel for warmth.

Cloaks are not worn indoors for similar reasons to hats, but out of doors are acceptable, they range from calf-length to lower-hip length."

As for visual aids, I'm a bit lacking in those right now.

Basic rules:

Warmth and practicality are key.

Linen underclothes, woollen overclothes.

Head coverings for outdoor use.

Ear piercings for everyone.

Belts are the toolkit for all and hold pouches and exterior pockets.

I can do a bit of visualisation for weapons, though (surprising no one). The Four Shores use two main forms of bladed arms, the sæx, and the méce.

A sæx in this context is a short, single edged blade with a tapered point.

A Méce is a long single edged blade with a slightly curving profile. Wielded one-handed or two-handed, it favours a cutting sweep rather than a thrust approach. If you fancy seeing two chaps demonstrate the historical weapon that inspired this, the messer, I highly recommend this video:

The first section though, they later switch to different weapons.

Most important features to look at are the pin crossguard that sits at angle to the blade, how the single edge is used to advantage in the application of force, and the length of the hilt to suit the single versus two-handed approach to wielding it.

Anyway, that's enough to be chewing over, I think.

I'll keep an eye out for visual sources on dress and clothing, so folks have a clearer idea on all that.

I've been meaning to upload her here after some minor issues, but here she is! My One Piece OC Mirai Tatsumi(or Winter Dragon Mirai)of the Straw Hats! Yep I went on ahead and designed an OC for OP cause dang my obsessions with this series is high and this is my first anime/manga OC plus I've wanted to do a human and dragon hybrid character for who knows how long.

Reference to both her base and Hybrid forms(I updated her hybrid point to look more like an actual Zoan type human-beast hybrid transformation like what you'd see in the series); will be drawing more costumes for her in the near future.

Here is the base design for Mirai during the Super Rookies saga aka the first half of the series.

Ref to her Dragon Point form, with more information down below in her story.

Mirai Tatsumi(16 pre timeskip and 18 post timeskip)is a Devil Fruit user like Luffy, Nico Robin, Brook, and Chopper, the first friend she ever made. Her fruit allows her to transform into a dragon hybrid with enhanced strength, durability, and the power to use pyrokinesis. When not in Hybrid form, she can use her wings and fiery skills normally, and has some slight durability to her skin. She's still super strong though.

Mirai actually was born and raised in the Grand Line herself, living to a family and hanging with friends. After when she ate a Devil Fruit at the age of six, her whole life was turned upside down after when her own family and village casted her out of the village she lived in, calling her a "monster". Mirai flew from island to island, trying to fit in, but nothing worked. She was always rejected, causing her to live outside of a world that didn't want her. Scars would form on her back to show the pain and suffering she had been through.

While trying to find a new home, she would get caught in a storm and was washed up on the icy coldness of the Drum Kingdom, completely knocked out cold. Chopper would find her and bring her back to Kureah, where the doctress would tend to the child's wounds and take her in as if she were her own daughter. Chopper and Mirai would grow close as friends, eventually becoming like siblings as Chopper learned to warm up to humans more because of her. In fact, the two almost did everything together, even when it came to his experiments and when they developed his Rumble Balls. He eventually became her mentor, for he taught her everything he knew from his training with Kureah. Since both shared similar abilities due to the Devil Fruits they ate being Zoan types, he would also help her learn how to master her powers.

Mirai would live with Kureah and Chopper for her whole life, but that changed when Kureah let Mirai go spread her wings and see the world, since Mirai had a dream on making cures to illnesses, expanding her horizons, and making new friends, just like her mentor/best friend. She would tell Chopper that she would return before leaving to start her adventure. She would come across a few other Grand Line islands before arriving at Syrup Village in the East Blue. Here, she would befriend Usopp; the two got along very fast too. Eventually she would befriend Luffy, Nami, and Zoro when they arrived on the village as well as Sanji when he joined. When she revealed her secret on being a Devil Fruit wielder in front of her captain, Mirai feared that Luffy would turn their friendship down, but he ended up loving her powers and asked her to join his crew. This made Mirai so happy to the point that she accepted his offer. She had finally found a real family. A family to accept her for who she was. In fact, she's ok with being a monster whenever Luffy is around.

Mirai felt right at home with Luffy and the Straw Hats, sailing into the Grand Line with them and getting to see so many new places and faces before they arrived on Drum Island to help cure Nami's illness. Both hybrid and reindeer would be reunited after so long as well as her "mother". She would even help Chopper warm up to Luffy and the others too. Chopper would join the crew by Mirai's side at the end of the Drum Island season after getting a proper and emotional sendoff by Kureah and the residents of the island. The bond between the two would continue to grow and strengthen just like back at their home, and they would even get along well with the other crewmembers when they joined. As the doctor and doctor's assistant of the Straw Hats, both make antidotes to illnesses as well as tending to the wounds of the crew.

One of Mirai's biggest habits is becoming overprotective of Chopper even after the timeskip, yet the same can apply with Chopper too. She'll tend to pick him up like a stuffed animal and hold him for a few moments and even will hiss in people's faces. Mirai rarely does this in public, but when she does, both human and animal would get embarrassed. Even if he would get embarrassed, he would get used to it eventually, and the same applied with the other Straw Hats. This would form after the duels with the Foxy Pirates(while Chopper got temporally taken during the first game set, Mirai would get temporally taken during the second game set).

When she first gained her dragon form, which is later named Dragon Point, she had no control over it, making her a threat to her friends and Chopper, since the form originally came out due to her strong emotions and/or rage. The first time she would turn into this form would be during the Alabasta season, where her strong emotions and rage over seeing Usopp and Chopper in danger caused her to transform and "help" the two men take out the Baroque Works members during her rage. Afterwards, she attacked Usopp and Chopper(she almost killed him too)before passing out and returning to normal, since the form drains a lot of her energy. She would turn into the form a few more times, but still had no or little control over it.

It would be during the timeskip where Mirai would learn to control her Dragon Point form fully thanks to Chopper's help once again during their two years of training of getting stronger together. At the start of the New World saga, Mirai has complete control of her Dragon Point form, making it her most powerful form. The form is extremely powerful in flight and strength with the downside being that it drains most of her energy, meaning that she'll end up passing out after being in the form for a certain amount of time. Unlike Chopper though, she can still move her body after when she wakes up. He happened to develop some special Rumble Balls for her, and they allow Mirai to stay in Dragon Point form for a few minutes without loosing too much energy. Instead of passing out, she just feels a bit woozy.

Bounties: ten million(first), seventy-eight million(second), four hundred million(third).
