This word of the day is genuine! Genuine means truly what something is said to be: authentic. Aka, “This painting is genuinely vintage.”

Yesterdays word was “cheerful”, and that means noticeably happy and optimistic. Or, as an example, “After I got 100 on my exam, I felt cheerful.”

I love this song!! Eek!! Holland, 1945 is off of my second favorite album of all time called “In The Aeroplane Over The Sea” and jesus is it good. It explores a lot of themes of death, and acceptance, and loss, and family. This song in particular just leads into the next songs so nicely.

Finally, the song of yesterday. I love Laufey, she’s my second favorite artist, and she has recently become super popular with her jazz inspired music and lovely vocals. This song is off of an older ep, but still worth the listen. Sorry for not having as much of a rant today I didn’t feel like typing allat LMAO

I’m trying to do a daily adjective type thing, and todays adjective is talented. Talented means having a natural aptitude or skill for something. For example; “You’re extremely talented at art”. Also the little characters in the corner is V from Murder Drones, a Youtube animated show run by Glitch Productions. Its a really good show!! Check it out!

The adjective of yesterday, AKA THE NEW YEAR, is Zany, and zany means amusingly unconditional. For example; “The way you dance is kinda zany”. I didn’t choose these words (or the upcoming songs), I made AI randomize a list of words I made so you get what you get!

Suburbia Overture by Will Wood is a genuinely good song with multiple parts. Its the beginning of the Normal Album by him, and was remastered to become “Blue Velvet” in 2024.

Car Seat Headrest is an indie rock band (as of currently how they define themselves), where most of the songs are made/produced/written etc by Will Toledo (or will barnes). He is on tumblr as of current and making a new album. This song is from his 2016 project, aka POST MATADOR SIGNING, “Teens of Denial”. This song is pretty impactful and there are multiple versions I highly recommend. My favorite is the live version from the live album “Commit Yourself Completely” but theyre all bangers. Its one of his top 5 most popular songs and definitely deserves to be there.
