Hello there! I’m a big fan of your art. How do you think Scott would have joined the Fantastic Four in your AU? It seems like he never met Xavier, so he probably didn’t run into the early X-men.

Ahhh, I finally found this ask again.

I think it would be during a villain attack. Scott would just so happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, forcing him to use his optic blasts to protect bystanders. The F4 would obviously notice this when they show up;

So, Scott and the F4 have an impromptu team up. They neutralize the threat together, and before Scott can slip away, Reed manages to track him down. It becomes quickly apparent that Scott is homeless and has no control over his power. Reed becomes extremely worried.

I don’t think the F4 would take in Scott for his optic blasts. Obviously, Reed wants to figure out how they work so he can help Scott, but they mostly just want to give him a home above anything else. They leave it up to Scott if he wants to join their team or not. By the time Xavier tracks him down, he would be a rookie member of the F4.

This is a very fun idea. You know that joke about getting adopted by One Direction? That’s this universe.
