- Magically enhances natural medicine from the earth to cure the ill patients that seek out his aid, which of whom are also considered Wolf-Rayet’s charges. He feeds from their misery, providing his services in return

- Naturally super keen to perceiving illness and life threatening health conditions in humans, somewhat akin to a cadaver dog spotting out the deceased, therefore taking on canine-like physical features

- Ironically, their first encounter with death that made them want to become a doctor was watching a deer get attacked by a wolf

- He cried while holding its mauled body, swearing that he would be a loyal dog, good to those he fed on which kept his own self alive and sated

- Takes payment in the form of bartering once (or if) his patients are healed

- Typically keeps his horns cloaked because he’s always knocking them into whatever he’s working on

- He has a large wing built a ways a bit from his home that serves as an infirmary for his patients so they have a place to recover

- Victorian meets southern gothic aesthetic

- Special interest in mortality, physical anatomy, life science, and the process of death and decay

- Smells like petrichor

- Prefers to speak very minimally, soft and shy voice (voice claim is Snufkin from Moomin Valley bc just listen to him)

- Very gentle and attentive to his recovering patients, always humming or reading to them one-on-one, feeding them homemade meals daily

- Lays outside in the rain whenever the chance arises

- Kinda guy to cover his mouth when he giggles

- Finds peace tending to his two gardens— one for the human’s food and the other for medicines. His favorite garden bed is one that houses his toxic, deadly plants.

- He named his raven companion, Belladonna, after his favorite toxic flower

- Buries the patients they lose themself if no next of kin reaches out beforehand by hand as to properly pay respects. They keep that graveyard in pristine condition

- Guilty pleasure is going to the movies, which he still calls the cinema or “picture shows”

- Gets his eggs and meat from local farmers only to avoid people as much as he can

- Doesn’t have a lot of time to spend on Aria because they are always caring for their patients/charges, but they enjoys the feeling of stretching their astral legs on occasion

- Weaponizes the puppy eyes

- His devout desire demon boyfriend (my husband’s demonsona) is soon to be introduced ;)

This is Artemis Hawthorne, my Sweetheart listener. One of my favorite designs for my Redacted listeners so far

Some small facts about them;

While they like the use of any pronouns (they are genderfluid), they usually prefer they/them on most days

Artemis is Arab. They can also speak Arabic

Artemis has one tattoo so far; one on their left arm (they want another one)

They are pretty skilled at weaponry usage (was raised on learning self defense of any kind)

When they were younger, they had a favorite weighted cat plush that would ease their anxiety attacks

Without the heels, they are exactly 6 ft tall

Artemis wanted to learn archery, but never got the chance (still wants to)

Their favorite ice cream is salted caramel

When they get slightly anxious, they fiddle with their wedding ring. It grounds them and makes them think of Milo

late night listener rambles

Angel loves the way David's hands feel. during casual or intimate times, feeling David's hands clasping their own, rubbing their back, gently holding Angel's body close to his own. David's hands make Angel feel safe and secure, and they love playing with them, complimenting their features and grinning at David's slight blush

Babe loves rambling with Asher. they love listening to Asher just talk about whatever interests him, even if they can't quite follow what the topic is about. theyll make little mental notes to look up a certain tv show or game later on in the day, so that they can have a better understanding. they love how attentive Asher is when Babe is the one rambling, taking every opportunity to explain the details in case Asher gets lost

Sweetheart loves cuddling with Milo. morning cuddles, just-got-off-of-work cuddles, post intimate time cuddles, they love them all. they love feeling Milo's skin touch their own, love rubbing and tracing small patterns on his skin. sleepy-time cuddles are their favorite, burying their face in Milo's neck and just feeling everything

Darlin' loves sleeping with Sam. not sex sleeping, literal sleep. they love knowing that they can show such a vulnerable side of themself to their mate, love that they can curl up next to him and drift off without a care in the world. sleep comes easier to Darlin' if it's sleep with Sam

Lovely loves Vincent's kisses. they love it when Vincent comes up behind them, wraps his arms around their waist and kisses their neck, reminiscent of before Lovely's turning. they love it when Vincent gets a bout of cuteness aggression and peppers their face in kisses, loves it when he gently kisses their scars when they feel like they're not good enough. they love kissing Vincent in return, feeling that slight spark of surprise and delight through their eternal bond

Treasure loves being held by Porter. when people held them in the past, it was always predatory, possessive; a clawed hand staking its claim on their hips, suffocating them. being held by Porter is different. it's softer, gentler, and always always easy to break, in the event that they want to step away (not that they ever would). they love being held in his arms, their head against his chest, listening to his subtle heartbeat. they love how gentle he is with them, and how warm he feels despite being a vampire

When I was going about designing the Summit outfits, I knew that I wanted to go high fashion with it. The way that Vincent described Summit fashion was so interesting to me and I wanted to lean in to it!

First, I think the Shaw Pack’s outfits were all made by the same designer, so they share a few details that tie them together as a group. I might get around to drawing the rest of the pack’s fits (MIGHT being the operative word), but the details that tie them together are ribbons, pearls, and soft, pastel colors. The Summit is a serious affair, and Vincent’s emo look has influenced color pallets for many many years. The Shaw’s rock into a room full of black and blood red and draw everybody’s eye. It’s a show of strength, as well. They don’t need to put on false pretense to show they’re deadly. They just are.

Angel’s outfit is a very fitted suit with padding in the shoulder to make them look broader than they are. A line of pearls acts as cuff links. Their makeup is meant to mimic blood. The back of their suit has a stiff heart cut out that shows off the main event: the corset piercing they got done specifically for the Summit. As a note, corset piercings are very short term, surface piercings that are only mean to last for a few hours. We can debate the safety of corset piercings all we like, but the nice thing about fiction is that um it’s fictional. No real danger. Angel got that done knowing that none of the vampires attending would be able to. They would heal too fast. It’s also a show of strength. The piercings are pulled on and irritated through the night. They likely bleed at some point. Angel would draw the attention of every vampire in the room, but none of them would be able to touch them. Unempowered though they be, Angel is untouchable.

Sweetheart’s outfit is meant to evoke delicacy and fragile beauty, undercutting their tenacity and strength. Sort of a wolf in lamb’s clothing situation. The pearls that dot their shoulders and hair are meant to mimic snowflakes. The jumpsuit they’re wearing has a pearlescent shimmer to it that only reveals itself in the right light. In the dramatic light of the Summit’s candles and chandeliers, the suit shifts color like a prism. The jumpsuit is intentionally a touch too long for them, hiding the heals that make them that much taller. The back of their suit is a corset as well, and it forms the suit to their torso perfectly. The delicate sheer green top that holds their pearls in place has a heart cut out similar to Angel’s, which was actually Milo’s suggestion. There are two pearls on either cheek, meant to mimic tears. If the vampires that investigated the murder scene even a bit more carefully, they would have found a pearl that come dislodged from Sweetheart’s hair. It’s still shuffled under a bar cart in Skyside.

I hope I can design more Shaw Summit outfits soon!! I had so much fun with these.
