He definitely looks at Angel like they’re his whole world. Especially when you compare how he would look at them back then to now.

Imagine Christian or smth talking to him in a pack meeting, then Angel comes up and grabs his attention, and he just melts and smiles. His eyes probably have hearts in them.

I’ve been crazy busy with publishing a couple books over the winter, and my 20 year old cat passed recently, so my mental health hasn’t been great, but I assure you Fence Post is going to be one of the first fics I update!!

angel is getting their face almost licked CLEAN off by david before darlin comes up and (playfully) bites david in the back (a fight ensues)

sam is busy in the kitchen, getting snacks (for the others), and comes back to chaos in the living room

sweetheart n baabe just talking while milo's head is on sh's lap looking up at them (sh gives the BEST head massages prove me wrong (or just massages in general)

asher (even tho he was just snuggled up w baabe) saw the fight and joined as soon as it started

david is now being jumped

David’s love language is physical touch.

We see how he’s always holding Angel, even when they’re sick.

He’d always touch them whenever they’re near. During pack meeting or while he’s driving, he’ll put his hand onto theirs, thumb occasionally running over their fingers. At home, when they’re both winding down, he’ll be holding them in his arms, feeling the warmth of their body envelope him.

When they go to bed, he’d always have an arm around them.

Now imagine how empty the house must’ve felt to David when Angel is out on a business trip. His hands have nothing to hold, and his arms have nothing to hug. The warm bed is now cold. He only makes breakfast and dinner for one. He showers alone.

When Angel comes back, you bet he’d be attached to them by the hip, always holding them. He doesn’t want to miss another moment with them.
