I made a post about my D.A.M.N. Designs but I want to talk about demons specifically and their relationships to their physical form

(if I get spelling wrong pls tell me, i can't remember any of the demon spellings)

Gavin:

- Gavin refuses to shapeshift his physical form, as we know. I think he uses it for clothes and hair but not his body, he changes hair length on a whim

- I also headcanon him as genderfluid. Partially, in the way that Loki is genderfluid, in the fact that they can literally shapeshift so they could be any sex they want to be. And, partially, because I headcanon that Gavin thinks gender is super stupid. Like "Yeah, most people refer to me as a he but I dont really give a fuck. If they think having a dick makes me a man then they can refer to me as such and if they think having long hair and wearing dresses makes me a woman then they can refer to me as that.

- to be fair, I don't think that gender is really a thing with demons, it really doesn't make much sense for creatures with no inherently physical form who have no concepts of parents or birth to give a shit about gender

- it took him a long time to choose his physical form. He'd tried many throughout his incubus training but he ended using a mixture of many people

- his appearance shifts over time, mainly after meeting freelancer, looking older as they age because he loves how they look with older features

- he usually sticks to a very human-looking physical form because he wanted to blend in, but around Freelancer and the D.A.M.N. Crew he lets himself show off his horns and tail

- he's 6'4"
