Thank you for asking me abt my ocs like this literally made my day +night!!!! I’m so fucking serious the sheer amount of joy you’re giving me by letting me infodump abt my blorbos is insane. After reading your ask and your tags I had to sit down and just stim my hands for a minute to calm down bc I got so excited. Anyways I’m a bit more normal right now so I can actually get back to you about it so here it is! MY CATHOLICSONAS INFO POST!!! basic info abt the other characters, details/info bits, artwork of them, and also some more suggestive sketches (which will be under a cut)

-ok so the characters are Soleil the guardian angel, Father Gabriel the human priest (who is Soleil’s ward) and Valentine Velvet (Velvet is their last name) the vampiric demon of love and lust! They are all deeply in love with each other and live together in Father Gabriel’s picturesque cottage and they live out their cottagecore dreams every day. Gabriel has managed to convince the other people in town and members of the church that these two beautiful roommates of his are close companions he met when he was younger who have come to live with him for purely platonic reasons and that they are most definitely completely human and they are NOT dating!! it has been at least over a year of this and no one in town has razed down their home and roasted anyone at the stake for secretly being a fluffy divine or demonic being yet so things seem pretty good. also yes Sol, Gabriel, and Valentine are a polycule which I have affectionately named the “Catholicsona polycule” as a joke that kinda stuck.

now that that’s out of the way, here’s the individual character info! (Edit: Just doing Valentine for tonight because I ran out of energy to write about Gabriel, but I will do it in the morning.)

•they/them•nonbinary• panromantic demisexual• vampire demon of love + lust• ~200ish years old (they have it written down somewhere but they don’t really care about the exact number, only the date of their birthday itself so they have an excuse to have a party) •5’6” ft tall (sometimes they add or subtract an inch or few just to mess with Gabriel)

•physical details•

They have soft red fur, small horns, two bat wings and another pair of bat wings for ears. They have a long fluffy demon tail with a heart shaped tip. They have slim talons/hands and little deer hooves. They have top surgery scars and a heart shaped marking on their chest and on their face. 

-they love fashion! Down in hell they were known for their romance and lust magic, but their true passion is fashion! They love lovecore things, 1920s Hollywood era dresses, vintage fashion, and generally very pink and red fem clothes.

about that magic: they can shapeshift and summon things! usually they summon food or wine or fabric for clothes, but they can summon all kinds of things. Valentine is quite a powerful demon all things considered. Some would argue that their abilities rival that of the actual angel Cupid, but they doesn’t really care enough to find out. They are occasionally summoned by people in need of advice or help with their relationships or getting their crush to notice them or spice up their sex life, and Valentine does what they can. They won’t magically force two people to fall in love or do anything someone doesn’t want to, like love spells or anything, but they’ll try to give tips and advice and occasionally give out a little potion to help ease nerves and make sure you don’t do something embarrassing like spill wine all over your date’s nice dress. They’ve been summoned far too many times by people who just want to make out with a demon, and they’re quite tired of it. They have two boyfriends, they’re not interested!! Valentine can’t really predict or control when the summonings happen. If they’re lucky they can just do the magical equivalent of hanging up the phone and blocking the caller, but usually they get caught off guard and sucked away through a portal before they can hang up. It’s always at the most inconvenient times too! Once they were at a Sunday service (they went to observe Gabriel at his work) and they got dragged away through a portal right at the altar during communion in front of everyone and their pearl clutching grandma.

-they have a transatlantic accent because they spent a lot of time on earth during the 1920s because they loved the fashion and music. That was about tje most time they ever spent on earth until they came to live with Gabriel and Sol, and that’s why the accent stuck!

-Valentine has quite the sweet tooth, both metaphorically and literally. They love chocolates and pastries and are quick to summon treats for them and their lovers.

-they’re quite the sweetheart. They love giving gifts of food and flowers or drinks, and are quite the thoughtful listener, always knowing exactly what to give their partners when they so much as offhandly mention it. They love flower symbolism which is something they share with Gabriel. 

-Despite being quite dazzling and charming on the surface, Valentine worries quite a bit about little things like “what if they don’t like the food? What if they’re allergic and neither of us have any idea so they choke and die?? Does my blouse have wrinkles?? Oh devil, what if I mess up and say something  embarrassing??” And despite being a demon of romance, on par with the actual Cupid in terms of power and magic, they still care quite a lot and worry that they have no rizz and are going to end up failing miserably if they try to have a date with someone and end up exploding on the spot of shame. 

-They love using pet names, like dear, love, darling, my sweet, angel, etc.

Organization XIII - What type of tumblr blog would they run?

This was suggested by someone on discord, but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out who originally brought it up. I hope you all enjoy!

Shoutout to autistic Xion in this headcanon!

Xemnas - travel blog. pictures of the places he visits, reccs for holes in the walls, places that aren’t overrun by tourists. no one knows what he does for a living to be able to afford to go to all of these exotic places, but he’s posts some pretty cool stuff.

Xigbar - used to have a nsfw blog but that went out the window. now he just posts whatever the hell he wants, usually his own comments about fandom stuff that happens (likes to add fuel to already big dumpster fires going on.) Somehow always has receipts.

Xaldin - a mishmash of health and wellness, sports, and working out. He has a small but intense following of people who like getting tips on his workouts. Also has some pretty awesome protein shake recipes.

Vexen - posts videos of fun science experiments done by himself and reblogs experiments from other people. Helps people with their math homework. Rants about global warming and corrects politicians.

Lexaeus - a food blog! reblogs images of his favorite foods, post pictures of food that he makes with their recipes. Gives food tips on good things to have in your pantry and cooking on a budget. Also sometimes posts pictures and tips for working out when also eating healthy.

Zexion - book review, of course. Gives a lot of book reccs to people - knows a little about every genre, so he’s always up for helping people find something that they’ll love. Scathing reviews. Author interviews.

Saix - an art blog! Posts art from all over the world, many different cultures. Pictures of art that he’s taken himself and reblogs his favorite pieces that other people on tumblr have made.

Axel - meme blog - just reblogs shitposts all day

Demyx - a little bit of everything - fandom, memes, funny text posts, inspirational photos, etc. No real format, just reblogs or posts whatever he likes.

Luxord -  wicca blog - does tarot readings for those who wants them, creates small spells for good luck and fortune, posts a lot of photos of dice, gambling, and fortune telling

Marluxia - plant mom blog. People literally go to him for gardening tips. Has a link on his blog that leads to his website where you can get full plants and plant cuttings for a really good price. Posts a lot of pretty aesthetic pictures of his flowers and garden. Goes slightly into cottagecore aesthetics.

Larxene - aesthetic blog. Every day is a different color. So one day will be all pictures in hues of yellow, another will be all in blue, another in red, etc.

Roxas - animal blog!!! “here’s this dog I met today!!!! Her name is Peanut Butter” and there’s a picture of him with a cute golden retriever puppy. His whole blog is like that

Xion - a stim blog! Whenever she has a bad day, she always goes and scrolls through the stimboard part of tumblr. They give her something nice to concentrate on and help her relax after a bad day.

hi okay so this is going to be sort of a general FAQ/rules for the blog.

WHAT WE OFFER:

PLEASE DO NOT SPAM REQUESTS

nine times out of ten, your request will be filled by mod 8ean in the order it was received---older ones before newer ones. i will get to your request eventually, and sending the same request multiple times will not make me do them faster.

HOW TO REQUEST:

moodboards: please include the full extended sign (leries, sagius, et cetera---if your extended sign is a true sign, please clarify that you are requesting for a true aries, taurus, et cetera), and any additional themes/motifs you want in the moodboard. if you have a particular aesthetic in mind and it's not a widely-used/self-explanatory term (such as scene, cottagecore, goth, dark academia, kidcore, et cetera), please include examples of the kind of vibe you're after (so, for example, "cybergrunge: chain jewelry, casual e-girl influenced styles, neon lighting, and gritty photography"). if you are requesting a relationship moodboard (pinius ♥️ viro, for example) it is very helpful to include the genders of the individuals in question. not necessary, but very helpful.

note on relationship moodboards: we do all four quadrants, but please keep your request to a maximum of three individuals. we do not do more than two individuals in monogamous quadrants, with exception to the red quadrant bc human polyamory is a thing. (so "true aquarius ♠️ sagilo ♠️ arun" is not acceptable, but "true aquarius ♣️ sagilo ♣️ arun" is. likewise, "taurpia ♦️ lelo ♦️ pisci" is not acceptable, but "taurpia ♦️ lelo who is friends with a pisci" is). further explanation here. we also do quadrant vacillation, again with no more than three individuals per request (more than three is difficult to format). if you do not include a quadrant, i will assume red.

playlists: again, please include the full sign, and any preferences for genre/theme. these will take the longest, as i try to make each playlist unique (so, six unique songs per playlist, though i will re-use a few). like moodboards, it is VERY helpful to include the genders of individuals in relationship requests.

note on relationship playlists: the same applies here as for relationship moodboards---please limit your request to a maximum of three individuals, and please do not request a playlist for more than two individuals in a monogamous quadrant except red. we will do quadrant vacillation, but if you do not indicate a quadrant i will assume red.

fashion boards: please include the full sign and a presentation preference (masculine, feminine, or androgynous). your actual gender doesn't matter---i just want to find clothes that you are comfortable wearing. please include any size or style preferences in your request---for example, feminine, plus-size, and no skirts, or masculine with earrings.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO:

horn/wing designs: the full extended sign is all i need!

stim/gifboards. if you do extended-zodiac-based stim/gifboards and would like a promo, please let us know!

analyses. we used to offer analyses, but none of the active mods can do them, so we have not offered them for years. please go to @localbardofmind @zerotheclasspector and @amygda-sinyda for zodiac-based analyses, or if you do zodiac-based analyses, please let me know so i can promo you.

fantrolls. we used to offer fantroll designs, but the process became deeply unenjoyable, so we regretfully no longer offer them. you can peruse the tag of requests we did do here. anonymously requested designs are free for anyone to use. @systemgoblincore is accepting fantroll commissions. if you or someone you know accepts fantroll design requests or is taking commissions, let me know so i can promote you here.

kin stuff. we are an extended zodiac blog, so we will NOT do requests like "moodboard for a tavros that misses his moirail aradia." we WILL do requests that rely on the signs, like "moodboard for a true taurus page who misses his moirail, a true aries maid girl." luckily, @kinburger does kin-based moodboards, stimboards, icons, care kits, and edits, and they also fulfill general classpect requests. if you or anyone else you know runs a homestuck kin blog, please let me know!

bloodswaps. because every sign has its counterpart in every other sign class, we feel that bloodswaps are redundant and would lead to unnecessary confusion in our tagging system. we WILL do mutant colors, hemo-anonymous, and moodboards/etc for signs with a color THEME outside of their sign, but not "blood-swapped signs." we work with the extended zodiac as written. so: tldr: "arsces with dark green themes" or "mutant (cyan blue) taurittanius" are fine, but "bloodswapped gemga (jade-ways)" is not.

fusion signs/non-canon signs. while we do dual-dreamer requests, that is under one sign of the canonical extended zodiac. for example, "dual dreamer true gemini" is valid, but "virgo/virpio dual aspect sign" is not valid. "redesigns" only re-design canon sign symbols---we do not invent new signs.

general classpect stuff. again, we are an extended zodiac blog, so please include your extended sign. we will NOT accept requests like "playlist for a tealblood sylph of mind." however, @rogue-of-heart-classpecting does general classpect moodboards and analyses. please check them out if that's something you want. @kinburger also fulfills general classpect requests as well as kin requests. if you or anyone else you know runs a general classpect blog, please let me know!

general astrology stuff. unfortunately we are a homestuck blog. if you know any blogs that offer content similar to ours for Actual Human Astrology, please let us know so we can promo them.

requests that are not specific enough. we CANNOT do "virsci page ♥️ aquarist rogue" because we MUST have a format. please include whether you want a moodboard/playlist/et cetera in your ask.

multiple requests per ask. please only request one thing per ask. if we get a request like "moodboard or playlist for taursces" we will pick ONE of those things to do, but if you send a request like "moodboard and playlist for an aro" neither will be done.

trauma-core/content explicitly about trauma or trauma responses. mod 8ean is neurotypical and feels that making content of this nature as a neurotypical, even at the request of others, would both glorify and trivialize the very real pain and struggle of those who dissociate/suffer from extreme phobias/have ptsd or other traumagenic mental illnesses. we WILL do requests that are dark, angsty, or edgy and requests that deal with recovery or general negative emotions. requests like "angsty moodboard for a lerist with water and knives," "sad playlist for a piun" or "moodboard for a gemsces recovering from self-harm" is fine, but "moodboard for a caprio with a fear of snakes and themes of disassociation" is not.

IF ONE OF THE MODS ASKS FOR CLARIFICATION ON A REQUEST, YOU MUST RE-SEND YOUR REQUEST IN FULL WITH THE CLARIFICATION. otherwise we will forget the original request by the time we get to yours.

so, PLEASE send your clarification like "yes, for the moodboard both the scorus heir and the aquaza seer are trans. the scorus is a boy and the aquaza is a girl." as in, the format of the request, the signs in the request, AND the clarification are all included in your follow-up. please do not reply to our post asking for clarification, because, again, we will forget your full request and it will not get done.

we do every request we get, so rest assured, your request WILL be posted. our inbox is always open (unless otherwise stated in the blog's header).
