“Everything seems okay. Her vitals look good. She’s able to be discharged tonight if she pleases.” The voice startled Olivia awake, causing her eyes to snap open. Standing bedside were two nurses and a doctor who stared down at her with a smile. “You gave us quite a scare there, Ms. Friedman.” Word continued to spill from his lips, but Olivia took in her surroundings instead, noticing the television was set on Law & Order: SVU. In the corner of her eye, she saw a blob of yellow. It was a bouquet of freshly clipped sunflowers in a glass vase beside her bed. A small smile crept at the sight of them. “Where’s my fiancé?” Olivia finally spoke, finding the doctor’s curious stare. “Bobby Mercer. Where is he?” The doctor hesitated. “Your fiancé and his brothers were taken away by the police about two hours ago,” he confessed.

This is day 2 of my portraits challenge where I try to throw out 30 portraits in who knows amount of time cuz between real life work, we are just doing our best. This one I had sketched a week ago. Then painted today. The two balls in her hair are supposed to be cottonballs based on an oc of mine who ties cottonballs in her hair. I spent too much time stressing on skin and got lazy with shading the rest. The amount of time spent I felt was too much so we will adjust as we go. And here we are 😁

Always Favors You

Another Sibling Danny and Jason idea!!

"Are you Jason Peter Todd?!" demanded a deep and commanding tone from the strange glowing being in front of them.

All the Bats stiffened and tensed, no doubt gearing up for a fight against the being that somehow knew Red Hood's full name.

Jason, Red Hood, decided to put on a brave front despite no doubt cursing in his head and wondering how the heck did this thing know his full freaking name.

"Whose asking." he snarled out, his hands twitching for his gun when the huge glowing knight with purple flames coming out of his helmet and cape, who was riding on a nightmare looking horse while they all had been in the cave going over tonight's patrol.

The Knight didn't seemed bothered by his response nor did he even seem to care or flinch when Batman made his own demand on 'Why was he there and who was he' or when Damian unsheathed his sword and pointed it towards him. Instead the strange glowing Knight reached to it side and pulled out... A glowing scroll? Huh. (Also he completely unnerved everyone in the room when the Knight didn't even react when Batman had tossed a Baterang when he reached for his side)

The Knight opened the scroll and spoke clearly with purpose.

"Jason Peter Todd,

You are hereby invited as a special guest of honor to the crowning of our future King of the Infinite Realms.

Daniel Phantom, once Daniel Jackson Fenton, and once Daniel Austen Todd.

Prince of the Infinite Realms, the Keeper of Balance, The Peacekeeping Halfa, the Defeater of the Tyrant King Pariah Dark, The Great One, Youngest of the Ancients, Ancient of Space, The Bridge between Life and Death.

You, the half-brother of our King, have been given the highest of honors for your past actions and will be given housing and food in the Realms and Phantom's Keep, for the week long event. Personal servants and attendants will be at your disposal and a seamstress will be on hand to tailor make your attire for the Coronation.

I do hope in time you will pick the right choice Jason Todd, we of the Infinite Realms would like to reward you for your actions. After all, if you hadn't gotten young Daniel away from your father that night all those years ago, we would never had gained our Prince nor be free from our once Tyrant King.

Ah, one more thing.

The Infinite Realms will always favor you Jason."

Jason felt like he couldn't breath as Fright Knight? Rolled up the scroll, pulled a letter from his side, and held out the two items for him to take.

Just got asked what body pillow character/characters I would want. And my brain just totally fried. Even though, having one was the only thing that got me through my first chemo round, I honestly have not been able to even think about it. But now I totally want one so bad, and just realized that was what I have been looking for the last few shopping trips I have been on. Especially my birthday one. Though don’t ask if I want a body pillow or a new stuffy collection more.

arthur lester says “we can go home” with the aching emphasis of a man who is actually trying to figure out how to physically return to a very specific point in his life when he was small and had someone else to shelter him and didn’t want to die some gruesome death and knew that the monsters in the dark couldn’t touch him when he was safe in bed. type of guy who could go anywhere in the world and he'd still be homesick

Comic based on the lyrics of “First Burn” by Arianna Afsar, Rachelle Ann Go, Lexi Lawson, Julia Harriman, and Shoba Narayan

Yes the characters are from my #RebuildingAHome comic. I’ll explain my favorite details of this song and art for each part but basically we have here the main couple having a fight for the other one leaving the other (while obviously falling for another character but won’t admit feelings for) and another character being the mediator of getting the two to finally talk. Turns into a full on argument.

Parts I loved that I had to illustrate it:

- “Do you know…sun” for the hilarious background expressions of our mediator who distunctly remembers bashing on the boy, Maxwill, when comforting the girl, Phabeth, in an earlier conversation. And just the horror of that being called out in front of Maxwill is embarrassing and so comical.

-“Don’t. take… into my arms” when you listen to the song I can always just hear in the break before the first “Don’t” Maxwill trying to explain himself but falling short in words as Phabeth interrupts him. It’s not that she put much effort in quieting his voice, as he does feel guilty enough that it’s hard to explain and so he opts more in the beginning to listen to her out her pains. The next part after the first “Don’t” I always hear it as what if she isn’t saying she doesn’t trust herself around him because he betrayed her, but because she doesn’t want to hurt him too somehow. How she’s admitting that she’s pulling away to protect him from herself but still doesn’t forget the fact that he left her too.

in a perfect world, the reason they’re introducing so many new young characters in changing skies is because there’s going to be a mass dying event that kills off a bunch of characters and the young cats (plus other survivors) are left behind to try and pick up the broken pieces of everything

or they’re going to have MoonPaw fuck off from the clans to make a new clan with the introduced young cats
