My heartbeat was wild and mostly erupting from my chest as the whole world around me seemed to quiet down. The mesh shirt I was wearing was already crumpled from all the times I had fiddled with it nervously. To be honest, could anyone really blame me? I have been obsessed with Måneskin for ages, and I finally get to see them live. A small, really pesky part of my brain kept bugging me. They would have no reason to like or notice you; why are you even here? Well, that definitely did not help the anxious feeling growing in my stomach.

Suddenly, the crowd erupted in cheers as four rock stars appeared on the stage.

And oh god what they were wearing. A certain blonde caught my attention, one who I was more than familiar with. Victoria strutted on the stage, her bass strap wrapped around her, as a small corset did nothing to cover her. Two black stripes of tape covered each of her boobs and she looked celestial. It was unfair to everyone else! How could she just look like that!?

“Is everyone ready?” Damiano’s strong voice sounded out of the speakers, earning an excited cheer from everyone.

As they started playing, I realised I was no longer anxious. Moving from side to side and jumping along with them, It felt as If the world stopped temporarily just for me to enjoy this moment. It was truly heaven, and their magnetic presence made it infinitely better.

“Now, for a fan favorite…” Damiano spoke into the mic, soon interrupted by the all too familiar notes of For Your Love. Oh god.

I couldn’t decide who to pay attention to; Ethan’s godly form playing the drums in a way I wished he would play my ass, Thomas’ talented fingers strumming the guitar chords, Damiano fucking the stage while singing or-

I was one of the lucky ones who got to sit up front. So my view of Victoria was truly a dream come true. Her eyes were closed as she thrusted into the air, her hips moving with precision and skill, as she moved her head backwards in rhythm with the song. Two of her fingers were plucking the chords, clouding my mind with thoughts of what else she could do with them.

The whole song became a vivid fantasy for me, as I kept watching Victoria play, entranced by her sensuality. The song sadly came to a stop, and Damiano started speaking again. My lovely brain, however, could only gaze at Victoria, her wonderful top and fingers.

As If on cue, she knelt down right at the edge of the stage, and winked at me. Wait, she did what? My brain stopped functioning as I kept staring at her, eyes comically wide and mouth hanging open.

She smirked at my reaction, and motioned for me to come closer with her finger. A bodyguard came and opened the barrier, as I made my way through.

I was right in front of the stage, looking in her icy blue eyes. She leaned down and cupped my cheek, shaking it softly.

“Wanna stay here, cucciola?” She asked,  a sultry smile appearing on her face. I nodded eagerly, causing her to laugh, before returning to her band.

The rest of the concert managed to make me so wet I was convinced my knees would give in the second I would try to walk. Between Victoria grinding on the floor right in front of me, making sure to stare right in my eyes, Damiano jumping in the crowd and grabbing Thomas, as well as Ethan being an overall god-like presence.

It was, however, over, as soon as it started. My face fell as they all waved their goodbyes to the crowd, and I turned around, preparing to leave, but was soon interrupted by a guard.

“Miss De Angelis said that she would like you to go backstage.”

That was the second time the girl’s actions shocked me. I certainly hoped it wouldn’t be the last as I followed the guard to the back.

“Ah, there you are, cucciola!” Her raspy voice exclaimed, as she headed towards me and grabbed my waist, leading me towards a changing room before I could even mutter a word.

“You, I me- mean ...Why? Like… I just thi-I” Damn it, where was my wittiness when I needed it? If I wasn’t already blushing, I probably looked like a sweaty tomato right now.

“Oh darling, I suggest you figure out how to talk, so I’ll know how to please you later.” She murmured in my ear, my knees almost giving up at her words.

“Oh god, umm, I- hi.” I managed to let out. I’m so glad I could ramble about crystals for 3 hours but when It comes to basic greetings my mind just dips. Lovely.

“We have about 15 minutes before we need to leave.” She said, grabbing my body and pulling me right against her, softly nibbling on my neck.

“Considering the way you fucked the stage earlier, I think even 5 would suffice.” Ah yes, my brain was back. Temporarily, though, because Victoria’s hungry lips smashed into mine in a fraction of a second, quickly turning me around so I would be prompted against the wall.

We moved in sync as she sucked every breath out of me and explored my mouth with her tongue. She bit my lip hard, and licked the reddish spot which appeared, before moving onto my neck.

Juice and Lemon’s relationship bloomed brightly as the months continued to pass. Time flew by so quick they found themselves in the run-up to their one year anniversary in what felt like absolutely no time at all. In Juice’s eyes, not much had changed, not really. They saw each other just as much (every day), and acted almost exactly the same, probably because they had been in love with each other the whole time anyway, the only difference was that now they never quite found a way to keep themselves off of one another. A year ago, they were almost shy with their physical contact, Lemon never being one for too much contact, and Juice wanting to bury her feelings down, only to spill her heart out into notebooks and Instagram posts. But now their hands automatically intertwined, or Lemon’s arm would snake its way around Juice’s waist. They got used to it pretty quickly once they had confessed their feelings.

Juice didn’t feel too much pressure to do anything fancy for their anniversary. It was more than enough to acknowledge it, and simply spend some time with her girlfriend. Gifts weren’t really any of their love languages, both of them opting for quality time and plenty of physical contact - if you asked Juice, she was the reason Lemon was now a hugger. 

And even though they had agreed and no gifts, Juice did have one thing in mind, she just wanted to do it well. She was going to write a song for Lemon. Sure she had already done this, she had been doing this since before they even got together, and Lemon had heard each and every one, but this one was going to be special. She was going to write the love song of all love songs, just for Lemon. She was going to share it nowhere, it would be their own little secret, something they could enjoy in private. She just had to write it.

Turns out, writing the love song of all love songs is kind of exhausting, and also just a bit of a challenge. Juice had had enough practise, she had written countless songs inspired by Lemon, completing most of them in half an hour or less, but this one was going to be special. Most love songs are universalised - just vague enough to be applied to most situations. They include the butterflies and the pining, and at most, maybe an eye colour. But that’s not what Juice wanted. Because Lemon was one in a million. There was not one other person out there for Juice, so why should she write a song that could be about anyone but Lemon? She went as far as to make a little plan on a scrap piece of paper, digging deep into her memories of how many times she had made Juice laugh, and when she first realised she had fallen (hard). It was going to be undoubtedly about Juice and Lemon. Filled with things only they would understand. That's what would make it special. 

Their anniversary was on Saturday, so on Friday, Juice rushed home from school as soon as the bell rang to finish Lemon’s song. Luckily, Lemon had a family thing, so she wouldn’t be joining Juice as she normally would, they were planning to spend all of Saturday together anyway, so a couple hours didn’t matter much. Unfortunately for Juice, it had been a long week. She had been trying to make progress on her song, but essays and assignments kept getting in the way. It was as if her teachers knew she needed some spare time, and decided to completely fuck that up for her. By 6pm, Juice felt herself yawning far too often than she was used to. She had turned her phone off so she didn’t get distracted, deciding that she just wanted to get this song perfected, and then she could turn it back on. 

In hindsight, she should have kept her phone on, because at 6:30pm, her bedroom door creaked open, to reveal Lemon, grinning from ear to ear and as cute as ever, but completely unannounced. She must have been let in, and Juice mustn’t have even heard her knock. She rushed to flip over the many sheets of paper she had lying around her bed, some slightly crumpled, some with circles around phrases, and lines going through others. But it was too late, Lemon would see right through her, knowing she's past the point of hiding her songs from her girlfriend. 

Lemon wore a baggy yellow hoodie (because of course) she had bought after giving her original one to Juice and never getting it back, and a pair of white shorts which were only barely poking out from under the hoodie. She had a backpack slung on one shoulder, which she quickly dropped to the floor before closing the bedroom door. There was just something adorably domestic about Lemon showing up in pyjamas that Juice still hadn’t learned to not silently freak out about.

“Hi, what ‘cha writing?” Lemon sat herself down at the edge of Juice’s bed, picking a piece of paper which, thank God, was almost completely illegible. 

“It’s a secret,” Juice winked, “I thought I wouldn’t see you till tomorrow, what happened to the family thing?” Lemon giggled, shuffling closer to Juice and giving her a quick loving peck on the lips.

“It wasn’t all that important, don’t worry. Besides, I’d rather be here” In lieu of a response, Juice just yawned, exhausted from the week. 

“Am I keeping you up, princess?” Lemon chuckled at the guilt that temporarily flashed through her girlfriend’s eyes, even though Juice knew she could never be mad at her. She knew it had been a long week for Juice, having to put up with constant complaints about how tired she was, so Lemon picked up the papers scattered around the bed, using all of her self control to avoid reading the scribbled lyrics (she had a feeling they were about her, but if Juice wanted it to be a secret then it would stay that way), and picked out some pyjamas for Juice to get changed into. 

Juice barely even noticed Lemon buzzing around her room, instead her eyes were drifting in and out of focus, trying to stay open. She was snapped out of her little trance when Lemon lightly shook her shoulder and quickly kissed her cheek, dropping the pyjamas in front of her. Juice just looked at them, too tired to understand that Lemon had gotten them out for her to change into.

“...Do you want me to close my eyes? I don’t mind, but let’s be honest it's nothing I haven't seen before” Lemon’s voice managed to catch Juice’s attention long enough for her to perk up enough to function again (even if was moving a little slowly).

“Oh! No, you’re fine, I’m just falling asleep. I promise you’re not boring” Juice stood up, fully intending to quickly change and get into bed as soon as possible, but the sudden movement threw her off a little bit, so she found herself standing still for a minute, just until she felt human again. Turns out, she was frozen for a little longer than she thought, because she heard Lemon giggling.

“Oh my god, Juicey, do you need me to help you? Because I will if it means you will go to bed. I’ve never seen you this tired before” Juice, giving in, just nodded her head, which caused Lemon to almost cackle as she started to get Juice into her pyjamas. Juice just rolled her eyes.

When she was finished, Lemon gave Juice a quick kiss at the top of her head. “There you go, shortass”

“Hey! I’m not even that much shorter than you” Juice argued sleepily, her words were dragged out and ever so slightly slurred.

“You are very endearing when you are half asleep. Now let's get you into bed, princess” Juice gave a content hum of agreement.

The bed was warm, and Juice clung onto Lemon like a koala as soon as they got under the covers. It didn’t take long for her to drift off as Lemon brushed her fingers through her hair, but before she fully fell asleep, she made sure to whisper an “I love you, Lemmy”

“I love you too, now go to sleep”

zagreus shook his head, a little bit peeved at the thought of being scared of a horse - after all, he was the one who faced the hordes of the underworld, dying so many times that hypnos had to dedicate a list solely for himself. “i’m not scared. just -- wary, ok? does he have special powers? what’s his parentage? and do i have to expect fire-breathing in the near future.”

the questions make you laugh, myroclus nickering and shaking his head before dipping it to sneak a few nibbles of grass below. tsk, tsk, what a hungry thing! “no powers, just a normal horse. he’s a draft horse. i use him for plowing and riding in the woods yonder, the wolves fear him.” you move forward, scratching myroclus’s neck, fond at the way he nestled his head on your shoulder. 

dark eyes peer at zagreus, almost conveying the words of: my human. zagreus raises his hands in surrender, no, he wasn’t going to steal your human. it was clear that winter was already nearing, and the journey towards the nearest town was going to be fairly treacherous, but there were some needed supplies and you couldn’t wait till after lady demeter’s anger abetted.

but still - you didn’t want your two best boys (don’t tell zagreus that you already considered him a best boy, his ego did not need any more stroking) to argue on the journey there. with quick hands, you produce an apple, voice pitching into something baby-ish, “you are a good boy, right, myroclus? you’re going to behave for me?” 

myroclus takes the apple from your hands, snuffling along your palm with a pleased snort. “ok, come here. he got his treat and he knows to be a good boy, right, sweet one?” myroclus shudders in delight, eyes going slightly lidded and hooves stamping the ground. 

“are you sure?”

you roll your eyes and turn around, reaching out to curl your hand around the prince’s, tugging him closer. “yes. i am sure. would i ever lead you astray?”

“no, but...” you shush him and press his hand on the side of myroclus’s flank, guiding him to stroke the horse firmly. “wait, i dont want to hurt him...”

“he’s made of pure muscle, he likes it firm, zag.” you concentrate on helping the prince pet myroclus to his liking, not noticing the apollo-bright smile that he levelled at you. when you do notice, you pause, narrowing your eyes suspiciously. “what.”

“you called me zag.” he points out, fingers curling to scratch myroclus’ favourite spot. “instead of zagreus.”

fluster rises like an inferno, ready to swallow you whole. “mm.” you pull your hand back, averting your gaze to the carefully-folded blue cloth that you meant to drape over the horse’s back in preparation of the journey.

zagreus grabs your arm, careful, gentle. like he always was, like he feared he could shatter you to pieces with one wrong move. (he wasn’t wrong exactly, but this sort of gentleness scared you because where else would ever experience that and prince zagreus’ destiny was beyond you and the simple cottage). “hey, i wasn’t making fun of you. i always told you, you didn’t have to be so formal with me. we’re friends. philia is what we are.”

philia, a friendly sort of love, an affection between friends, one of the four words love.

you tilt your head, heart molded like clay, warmed by the heat of his caring hands. and it is peace that makes its way in the hallowed atriums of your chest. home, you think. this was meant to be, in some strange, Fate-spun way. “philia.” you parrot, wrapping a hand around the one zagreus had curled around your arm.

it’s a strange moment, one that’s shattered with the way zagreus suddenly pulls back; flexing his hand slightly. “so, you were teaching me to ride this beast?”

myroclus whinnies in indignation, he was not a mere beast, he was the grandest of horses! you laugh again, unfolding the blue blanket that allowed you to the barest hint of relief from the bumpiness that riding horses could serve. “perhaps, but most of all, i will teach you to hold on. it would do you well to go and explore outside of my lady’s lands.” pause, thoughtful look. “if that is your wish, anyways.”

“i find no issue with that, i have been feeling a bit cooped up. and i have never ridden a horse before, how hard could it be?” zagreus watches as you tie the blanket to myroclus’ back before seeing the unimpressed look on your face. “what?”

“riding a horse is no easy feat, i’ll have you know.”

he could tell that he’s offended you, smiling sheepishly as if to say sorry! nonetheless, you turn towards myroclus, rolling up your chiton to revealed toned legs and thighs from years of hard work. sticking your tongue out, you take a few steps back before rushing forward and vaulting yourself onto myroclus’ back. zagreus claps wildly, whistling in appreciation at the show of athleticism, the only show of athleticism that you are willing to display.

you are simply content to walk through life instead of rushing. 

“me next!” zagreus mirrors you, tensing his legs to leap...

“stop! no! you don’t know how to do it yet and myroclus isn’t prepared, what we are going to do is this.” you pat the horse’s neck, whispering a quiet: down boy, and myroclus settles on the ground. “now, up.” you pat behind your form, waiting patiently for zagreus to sit behind you, but he doesn’t.

oh. he looks... petulant. like a child. “i’m not a child, you know. i can do what you did. it’s easy!” he crosses his arms, but obligingly sits on the spot you had indicated. “This isn’t too bad.”

His arms wrap around your waist loosely, a smile dimpling at your cheeks. “not yet, and tighter.” you tug him until his arms tighten, his body a spot of heat at your back. prince zagreus is tall enough that he could comfortably place his chin on your head. “ready?” a whistle has your horse standing up once again, the reins tight around your fists. “just hold on.”

you snap the reins and off myroclus goes, the earth rumbling underneath his thunderous hooves. he was a bulky creature, as strong as an oak tree and not as fast as his other kin, but a dependable steed. you can hear zagreus grunting behind you, knees pressed tight to avoid being knocked off, voice jumping in amusing leaps at every bound of the horse. “how do you fare?” you call above the winds, cheeks bitten red by the fall air, delight in your gaze. 

“iiiiii---- thiiiiiink---- im gonnaaaaaaahahhhhhhh----” his words come strangely and at a particular bump, one that has zagreus slipping and attempting to cling to you, thus setting off a chain reaction of him falling and you falling onto the rocky ground beneath.

luckily because of godlike reflexes, he maneuvers himself in a way that cushions your fall with his bulk, rollin in the mud before stopping. chiton messed, hair messed, face splattered with brown, you sit up, glaring at him crossly. distantly, you can see myroclus skidding to a halt and swinging his mighty head, returning in leisurely trots, taking a detour to a nearby field of sweetgrass. zagreus shrugs sheepishly at you, “you did say to hold on...”

“yes, but not yank me off the horse as well!” you try to wipe off the mud from your face, succeeding in smearing it even further. “ugh, it’s not getting off.” at least there’s one white spot left on your chiton. however, a splat against your chest has it disappearing --- you look up at zagreus who sports a shit-eating grin, the flames that licked his laurel wreathe dancing in delight. “you. did. not.”

he sticks his nose in the air, mouth curled in a manner that reminded you too much of lord hermes, “i did, and what are you going to do about it?”

if he insists on playing dirty, then you shall oblige him in turn. in his moment of gloating and taunting, you craft a mud ball and toss it right at his face, laughing at the way he sputters, features messed even further with dirt and clods of grass. zagreus appears to not have anticipated your retaliation and that makes it that much more sweeter.

your countenance may be reserved; however, that is by choice - underneath the mask, you had the capacity of being equally playful. you roll away from the god, scooping up handful of mud and temporarily overwhelming poor zagreus who attempts to escape the indent he made in the mud with a wet schlop! 

however, whatever your advantage you had was swiftly lost. his dual-coloured eyes flash with excitement, teeth bared in a grin that foretold trouble. with his forearms up, he blocked every mudball you threw, whilst stepping closer and closer. you try to outmaneuver him, but as fleet-footed as you were, zagreus was even more superior (you suspected that he had been blessed by lord hermes, hardly fair!).

“---- got you!” the prince tackles you to the ground, carefully cushioning your head with a hand and pinned you in the mud - braced over you with a forearm next to your head and knees next to your thighs. by then, you’re both heaving from your play-fighting and nearly unidentifiable from the amount of mud caked on your forms.

the laughter from being bowled over and trapped trails off, your gazes captured in magnetic timelessness. you’ve noticed that you’ve been having these strange moments often, an electric quality that you cannot seem to place. it was terrifying, it was exhilarating. prince zagreus watches you, lips parted, quiet. 

this moment - standing on the precipice of something different. you falter, pressing a hand on zagreus’ chest, laughing albeit awkwardly. “zagreus, m-myroclus. i have to get him. and we... we should get clean.” the words stuff your mouth as the moment is ruined, zagreus blinking in realization. he rocks back on his heels, smiling, but something in his gaze is different.

was it regret? was it disappointment?

he shouldn’t be, what this was -- it was an illusion. simply the games of lady aphrodite and nothing more. when he stands, he offers you a hand, which you take gratefully. “go back home and clean up, i need to get myroclus back.” it seemed like he wanted to protest; however, he doesn’t - midnight-hair matted with mud. zagreus doesn’t answer you, contenting with a nod and returning to the cottage.

you whistle loudly, myroclus’ ears pricking at the sound and trotting over to bump his snout against your cheek gently. “tsk, you were a bad boy, did you do that on purpose?” myroclus nickers, neither an affirmative or a negative. it must of been one of his bouts of mischief. “nonetheless, tomorrow, we’re going to practice more, please be good and i’ll bring you treats.” the prospects of treats, it seemed, was enough for the horse to internally pledge to behave.

after returning myroclus to his fenced field, you turn your feet back to the cottage and to the bathhouse where steaming rose water and oils awaited you. luxury has never been appealing to you, but the capacity to soak in a bath for an extended period of time was wonderful. you knocked on the door and upon finding no reply, entered the bathhouse, shedding your already-awkwardly dried clothes and sinking into the tub of hot water (zagreus had, no doubt, already refilled upon anticipation of your return).

you do not know how long you sat there and cleaned, allowing the day to sluice off your shoulders, but when you finish, your skin is pruny and countenance soften with the delight of someone well-soaked. a robe hung nearby, soft fabric that warded off the cold, cinched at the waist with rope. 

thankfully, when you return to the kitchen where you know zagreus was stoking the fire for the stew they had made, nothing was on fire. his hair was endearingly fluffed up, swaddled in a similar robe. “nice bath? you took long.” he offers you a bowl of stew, which you take gratefully.

“i’m a bit sore from the fall, it was nice to have the warmth soak into my skin.” you pull up a chair, stretching luxuriously enough that your joints pop. “you know, i’ve been curious.” zagreus spoons food into his mouth, humming in acknowledgement (he’s learned to not talk with his mouth full, something you’ve scolded him about frequently). “when lord thanatos was here, he talked about your purpose... i’m sorry, am i not supposed to...” you trail off at the look he gives you. it’s not menacing or angry, but filled with a brand of determination.

ah, you forget. the vengeful, cataclysmic drive to see his birthmother, you wonder - would you go to such depths? would you descent to the pits of tartarus to see your family, so cruelly stolen from you?

“no, it’s... it’s fine.” he wipes his mouth on the back of his hand, “i came here to protect my mother. from the rest of the olympians.” that gets your attention, straightening in your seat.

“my lady is in danger?” the panic in your chest tightens, mind already racing with contingency plans. how, just how, are you supposed to protect the goddess?

he can see the fear in your eyes, reaching out to hold your hand tightly. “no harm will fall upon her. or you. i am here.”

but you know the disastrous uselessness of fighting against forces of nature themselves. after all, it was lord ares whom blessed the army, the general, that ravaged her home. “don’t. there are... there are certain things that you cannot fight against, believe me, i know.” your words are harsh, zagreus taken aback by the rawness of your self baring. you squeeze your eyes shut, dismissing your memories and traumas. easy, after all. pandora’s box, locked tight. “regardless, lord thanatos spoke about something about things not dying, doesn’t that scare you?”

zagreus considers that, tilting his head before shaking it. “not really. it’ll sort itself out soon. now, let’s stop talking about this nasty business. eat your dinner.”

you feel scolded, dismissed, really. but that’s nothing new. zagreus was a god, you remind yourself. he did not feel mortality in the way that you did. bah, nonetheless, you and this cottage is an insignificant blip in the grand scheme of things.

after all, being faceless was the greatest gift of all in this life.

my depression and health battle

DEPRESSION

IS A BATTLE THAT CAN BE WON

as I pull the petals of this beautiful flower I noticed I had reached the last petal as I muttered to myself im lucky and tore it away from its steam I noticed one small underdeveloped petal hanging on for dear life and I muttered im not lucky and with my bad luck streak in life I thought it was some kind of omen was this a sign that my bad luck streak would never end or was I bein stupid overthinking things yet again I guess we can only find out as I battle my demons.

I sat there for a few minutes trying to talk myself out of this sign that everything would be fine it had to be my luck had to turn at some point hadnt it?

When I was 15 I started having eye trouble and my thirst for sugar had increased dramatically my parents had noticed this more than I had and suggested I go see a eye specialist to sort my eye troubles out when we got there my parents mentioned the sugar intake and they tested my blood sugars which were off the charts high I had further blood tests to soon discover that I was a type one diabetic and because of all the sugar in my bloodstream had temporarily changed my eye shape hence the blurred vision,i was sent to a hospital for two weeks to earn the ins and outs of how to take care of myself with this new disease it was scary and so hard I had never had a phobia of needles but to learn that I would here on out have to stick a needle into my stomach with each meal snack and drink was scary and take my sugars before each meal which would mean also stabbing my fingers scared the hell out of me and I thought why me why now anda lot of damage had already been done as I could have been diabetic for wuite a while before they had found it

I was to face some debhilitating challenges almost dying and permenant damage that would change my life forever things I would have to learn to live with and adapt to such as permenant eye damage agonizing diabetic neuropathy the loss of my left small toe then a further amputation of the joint including multiple procedures like laser eye surgery eye injections eye surgery two amputations the removal of all my teeth due to gastro peresis stages where I couldnt stomach any food throwing it all up losing weight to where my organs were failing and me on my death bed and not knowing why I have neer given up in all these struggles even though I knew oh well eating will end up with me bent over the toilet for hours being labelled as having a eating disorder and trying to convince doctors no this is medical and something was wrong having a feeding tube forced down your throat becausee of these labels and watched while I showered and used the toilet was horrible being in hospital for three months fighting for my life as I never realised how important food was for your body till I was striken with gatsro peresis and not being able to consume it and practically starving to deathi thought this was it this would kill me as nobody could find what was wrong and trying to tell me I was doing this to myself on purpose I refused to leave myhouse as I was ashamed of how thin I was I got down to 31 kilos and there was nothing left of me I was stuck in mental health and was forced to talk to psychiatrists about my so called eating disorder as they tried to help me but how can you fix something that doesnt exist they finally realised months later after leaving the hospital that it was medical from all of the tests I was made to do im still battling these issues today truing to gain weight I have also lost a large portion of my eyesight due to diabetic neuropathy when the blood vessels overgrow and cause permenant damage and the obly way to stop th further damage is to have laser ee surgery to try stop the vessels from growing which worked for a while then I was told they were growing again

so the next step was to have multiple injections over months into the eye to try shrink them which I am still having today as they have flared up again I now have to wear glasses but I can never drive as my vision is that impaired.

Another thing I battle wth is diabetic neuropathy which Is where your nerves send misfired pain signals to your brain when nothing is actually wrong you feel shock like pains hot pins and needles aches and some feeling losswhich contributed to me losing my small left toe I had gotten a blister that I didnt know I had which turned into a foot ulcer got infected and ate its way down to my bones I then got na serious bone infection called ostemyelitis which eats away at your bones they tried a long course of iv antibiotics to get rid of it but it falled and the only way to stop me from losing my whole leg was to amputate the small toe I was terrified as I lay in hospital and the doctors came in to wheel me ito surgery next thing I knew I was waking back up in my ward and my foot was being unwrapped I was in shock seeing my little toe missing they put something called a vac seal on it which helped fill the giant hole I now had in my foot and healed it three times faster than without it because of my compromised immune system from the auto immune disease they think I have that hasnt been even named yet I struggled to heal fully allowing infection bac into the amputation site which meant round two but they were to tell me I was going to loose my whole leg and had two weeks until surgery so as I went home and tried to prepare one day post surgery checkin they told me we are just going to amputate the remaning joint I had a sigh of relief but it was still loosing more of my foot I have had a rough life health wise as there has always been something wrong I have had the worst luck possible so many long hospital trips and now being 27 I just want to be as healthy as possible and live the life I know I deserve after all this grief and I have learnt to appreciate even the smallest of things and especially all the people who never left me in all my struggles and mood swings I am forever grateful for them as I know I wouldnt be here without them although they tell me they understand what im going through they couldnt possibly but I hate that ive had to go through all this and more I hate more the people I love have had to watch me gp through this amd I am usually a happy bright bubbly person but I mean I have my bad days where im depressed and wished all these afflictions didnt plague me everyday and it is also hard as I cant just forget I have these things as they impair everything I do I cant just turn around and be like I dont feel like being type 1 diabetic for a day as I would face horrible repurccusions .

In all this hardship I know there is people suffering out there more than I am I just wish I didnt have to fight everyday with all of this and fight to keep my life I want to just live it and be happy and I know I will get there I will never give up no matter how bloody hard this is or will get but I just wnted to tell a small portion of what I have gone through in my life in the hopes it may inspire of help somebody suffering with anny of these issues and yes depression is a hard thing to overcome but there are always things to help I find art and writing in a journal helps and venting all it takes is that one special person to listen and have your back if anybody reading this wants to chat I will always lend a ear to you so dont be afraid I may look odd and be odd but I am friendly and have a massive heart thank you for reading.

So Declan loved me and we talked about science and lab babies and clones and all that. So He told me he loved me because i was the first person to really really listen and understand as opposed to being the one to teach.

And so he had understood what he was taught then developed and built upon it correctly with help from his own brain and God. And del Muerte whom helped me understand as well cause that shit was mind blowing.

So he asked me to have his soul mate. To give birth to her.

And I was pretty much dragged out and Declan ran the show after that.

I agreed but it was more like a thing where i had to focus and talk instead of fainting.

So Matt actually helped to implant because I have an upturned uterious and so things like that are painful because of the rigidity and non flexible as i need materials used while Jeremiah comforted and helped me relax.

So then essentially i was kidnapped.

Declan is part clone and part Neanderthal.

Annabelle is part clone and part Neanderthal.

So some of us from Michael Jackson's boarding school --- although I wasn't i stayed there alot on my own. So i was part of it, unofficially as i am a civilian doing military shit now. --- have clones in a laboratory. But they are miniature human size as they are kept in barbie size containers.

Since Declan was a clone Jesse gave permission to make, they said i should use a clone.

It took 5 eggs until Declan approved the child that would be created in the embryo. Del Muerte communicated to us what God said.

Most males get their soul mates at age 7. Declan was only 2 years old. So God hadnt had enough experience to program or create his perfect soulmate.

So it just so happened it was 2 years of plus 5 embryos which makes the year 7 while added together.

So when Annabelle was born Declan came to get me and her but my now ex-husband got me all fucked up and i had amnesia and all that and i remember the power struggle type issues while signing the birth certificate which is why i get child support as my ex swore bla bla bla and signed papers to those statements but I was all "Dude while he's signing let's run!" Because he pissed me off during that time and i was all no hes wrong and all... But I guess I was scared of him or his aura csused me confusion or Idk. I remember feeling sick.

So craziness. We are 16 years late. And unfortunately yet fortunately a lot of research was done and i have a lot of government apology money coming my way. Which i don't have yet.... But soon.

Turning the x into a v (for Victory) and Lynn as in the 80s most of my friends on the military base i lived on has Lynn as their middle names. So to remind me she is a friend.

She's my child that was ectopic due to the sponges Jamie & Doug Otis found and reminded us of. But we went to the hospital because i began to hemmoragge and they were able to save her and her twin.

Then my mom killed her and he died naturally as he was in ICU TO experiment on them being raised/healed as premies temporarily as one within an incubator and the other skin to skin contact. As woman need to be comforted more, we picked Ava to bring home.

They were the first experiment with soul mates being born as twins. Both clones of my and Jeremiah and his being Ava and my being the male Andrew.

And the other clones were of Jesse James and Alexis.

Alexis got kidnapped by her dad and so the story goes... I did too Eventually

Jeremiah's dad helped us as the grandparent in house.

Fossil fuels are actually the blood of dinosaurs and other dead bodies that are converted and broken down and dehydrated by plant life...

I found that out by the eternal bushes burning.. I mean growing... here on the mountain. Tumble weeds otherwise known as thyme. And we found via satellite tons of skeletons by Earth xrays under the bushes and some not as they are closer to the Earth surface. I found a wooly mammoth knuckle bone.

We moved here in 2002 and there was a patch of earth that looked like concrete by the mail boxes and we just drove over them assuming that's what it was.

They were mummified wooly mammoths. Now broken up and scattered all over the desert road.

You don't need to believe in reincarnation for it to happen. I didn't until about 6 months ago. But my mom's mom and my great aunt my grandma's sister ... Granny Bessie Heltons 2 daughters did. My grandma explained it to me one night when I was 18 as i had asked my Great Aunt Nita i was closer to but she didn't explain she just said "because i do" And the dictionary explaination i already knew. But my grandma traveled with me like y'all know i do And showed me.

Headcanon: First Date with Ben

HEY so it’s my spring break and i’m back temporarily :) i hate saying temporarily but i know that once school starts again i’m never gonna have time to breathe lol but i’d like to think school is temporary, writing for you guys once summer hits will be the real thing <3 

this wasn’t requested but as a starter, i’ve written this headcanon :) sorry if it’s shit, haven’t written in a while so i’m a little rusty. i hope you like the ending though, i certainly do.

“yes?” you giggled, brows raised as Ben swallowed harshly

there’s a few other couples having dinner but it’s peaceful and everyone’s rather into each other so you know no one’s eyes will be wandering

but your favorite part of the whole thing

was that you could see the entire london skyline from your position, with a table in the perfect spot so no one was blocking the view

“what d’ya think? i-is it too much?” Ben asked shyly as you hadn’t said anything 

but you were in love with the place, your heart filled with joy

“it might be too early to say that this is the best date i’ve ever been on but i will, if that gives you any idea for how i’m feeling” 

as the dinner progressed, any nerves you felt coming in vanished

it felt natural, comfortable, meant to be

and when Ben reached over to hold your hand across the table

part of you never wanted him to let go, even if it made it a little harder to eat

in any case, he himself never quite wanted to let go either

with you, he wasn’t Ben Hardy, actor. he was just Ben

and he felt like he could be anyone he wanted to be around you

he loved that even if you were a fan, you never made him feel like he needed to take on the actor-persona he had 

in fact part of you forgot he was even an actor when you asked him if he had met anyone famous 

which made Ben laugh and your cheeks go red 

but Ben slipped up too lmao

“so I heard you like dogs?”

then his cheeks got red as he had to carefully explain how him and Joe didnt stalk you on instagram but stalked you on instagram basically 

celebrities, they’re just like us

that’s when you laughed

which made Ben realise he could hear you laugh all day and never get tired of it

and never get tired of your smile

something about your twinkling eyes when you spoke about your friends and family back home

and about all your passions, ridiculous and not so ridiculous

u may or may not have let him in on your love for Queen, even more so than in the cafe

and u kinda forgot he was in Bo Rhap for a hot minute

but he was amused, he loved seeing you speak about something so close to your heart

and felt proud to be part of it

all in all Ben felt a feeling he hadn’t experienced in quite a long time, if ever in his life

a feeling of completion, of relief

as if he had been waiting his whole life to meet you

and so he continued listening to your rant about how much you love Freddie and JIm together

watching as you blushed and apologised profusely for going on about them

“don’t be sorry, i wished we could’ve had more of them in the film as well. and i love hearing your opinions on them, i love hearing you talk about it all. it makes me more and more fortunate to have been part of it”

“well i have much more to say about anything Queen related if you’re interested”

“then i’m always here to listen for when you do wanna speak about them” 

when dinner finished, you and Ben decided to postpone driving you back 

you two walked around the city more and eventually made it to a little park just up the road

your hand in his, humming ‘39 by your favorite band

Ben smiled to himself as he realised you felt the same comfort around him as he did with you

and so the months went on, date after date with Ben

till you found yourselves on your one year anniversary, walking around the same park you two had gone through on your first date

“do you remember when we first came here?” he asked

“of course, it’s when I realised I love loved you and was basically fucked”

“why’d you say you’re fucked?” he laughed

it  is  safe  to  say  that  idris’  life  started  in  a  hard  way.  he  was  born  and  raised  in  denver,  colorado ,  alongside  a  younger  brother  and  their  mother,  a  woman  long  ago  consumed  by  a  hard  life.  his  father  was  never  around  and  from  an  early  age  he  had  to  understand  the  challenges  life  would  bring.  his  mother  had  come  from  the  same  humble  origins  and  never  had  a  chance  to  grow  in  life,  leaving  her  limited  to  a  small  job  with  an  even  smaller  salary  ―  far  from  being  enough  to  support  her  and  two  children.  idris  constantly  watched  the  woman  stop  eating  for  two  or  three  days,  so  he  and  his  brother  could  have  three  full  meals  over  the  same  period.

over  the  course  of  a  few  years,  the  situation  only  worsened  for  the  family.  his  mother  lost  her  job  and,  already  tired  of  her  life,  couldn’t  stay  in  any  other  for  long.  at  the  age  of  sixteen  idris  even  tried  to  help  and  break  his  time  between  school,  a  job  and  the  only  privilege  that  allowed  to  have  in  his  life;  football  was  his  sweet  scape.  while  in  the  field  he  was  able  to  forget  about  all  his  problems,  his  poor  family  and  the  prospects  of  a  broken  future  with  little  to  no  opportunities  ahead  of  him.  maybe  because  of  talent  or  even  effort  that  idris  used  to  dedicate  to  the  sport,  he  eventually  stood  out.

idris  was  eighteen  and  in  the  final  days  of  high  school  when  he  received  the  news  that  synthesized  the  only  chance  he  would  get  to  not  only  follow  his  dream,  but  also  help  his  mother  and  brother  to  lead  a  better  life;  he  had,  somehow,  managed  to  qualify  for  the  university  of  colorado’s  football  program,  with  a  full  scholarship.  his  mother,  however,  would  never  know  about  that.  already  tired  of  an  existence  that  bordered  the  misery,  she  chose  to  take  her  own  life  and  finally  be  able  to  rest.  shock  and  sadness  almost  made  him  give  up  on  his  own  dreams,  but  idris's  brother,  who  had  displayed  a  strength  he  did  not  know  it  even  existed,  made  him  move  on  with  the  scholarship.

for  the  next  few  years,  idris  tried  his  best  to  keep  himself  into  his  college  &  football  routine  and  also  be  a  good  brother,  since  both  boys  were  all  what  was  left  of  the  impaired  family.  he  never  came  to  graduate  from  college  since,  after  four  years  of  hard  study  and  frequent  participation  in  the  college  football  league,  idris  made  the  official  petition  to  enter  the  nfl  drafts  early.  for  his  surprise  the  petition  was  accepted  and  he  was  drafted  by  a  big  team  who  had  him  on  their  radar  for  a  while  already.  trying  his  best  as  never  before,  he  proved  to  be  both  talented  &  hardworking  and  it  was  just  a  matter  of  time  until  he  started  to  stand  out  in  the  field.

fame  and  money  came  fast  for  the  young  player;  his  life  now  seemed  to  be  stable  and  promising.  his  only  concerns  were  to  stand  out  more  &  more,  and  to  attend  most  of  the  great  parties  for  which  he  was  invited.  everything  was  finally  easy  ―  but  it  wouldn’t  stay  that  way  for  long.  years  after  he  had  finally  become  a  professional  football  player,  the  disaster  hit  idris  in  the  form  of  two  men  from  the  opposing  team,  in  one  of  the  first  games  of  the  season.  he  suffered  gruesome  injuries  to  his  knee  and  ankle,  leaving  him  out  for  the  rest  of  the  games  and  undergoing  two  surgeries  to  try  to  fix  what  had  been  broken  by  the  accident  while  no  one  knew  if  idris  would  ever  return  to  the  fields.

idris  was  really  shaken  by  everything  that  happened,  afraid  of  losing  everything  he  had  conquered  over  the  years.  the  treatments  were  difficult  physically  &  mentally,  and  the  physiotherapy  was  painful,  but  the  biggest  problem  he  faced  came  in  another  form;  the  small  pills  designed  to  lessen  his  pain  created  a  dangerous  dependence,  that  threatened  his  career  much  more  than  the  injuries.  it  took  a  few  months  until  someone  finally  noticed  idris'  addiction  and  he  was  officially  temporarily  removed  from  the  next  season  not  only  because  of  his  knee  or  ankle,  but  in  order  to  treat  himself  and  get  back  to  what  he  was  before  everything. 

 however,  a  strange  supplicating  pressure  caused  him  to  drop  every  kind  of  new  treatment  for  his  addiction  before  it  even  started.  it  was  a  weird,  uncontrollable  feeling  that  wouldn’t  go  away,  no  matter  how  hard  he  tried  ―  and  he  tried  hard.  the  strange  sensation  consumed  all  his  thoughts  and  even  his  dreams,  until  idris  found  himself  in  the  middle  of  the  night  driving  for  hours  on  end  ‘till  he  finally  reached  jericho,  where  he  knew  nothing  and  no  one;  nor  what  had  brought  him  to  the  tiny  town. 

HOLY  SHIT,  this  ended  up  to  be  huge,  so  long  story  short:  idris  was  born  very  poor,  had  a  shitty  childhood.  has  one  younger  brother  and  loves  him  dearly.  had  a  hardworking  mother  that  took  her  own  life  when  he  was  eighteen.  got  a  footbal l scholarship,  managed  to  become  a  professional  football  player  and  never  graduated  from  college  because  of  that.  he  suffered  an  injury  to  the  knee  and  ankle  that  took  him  out  of  the  season  and  left  him  addicted  to  pain  medication.  he  never  got  to  start  rehab,  though,  because  he  felt  the  strange  need  to  go  to  jericho,  where  he's  been  for  four  days.  and  this  is  where  our  story  begins  ! 

idris'  personality  is  very  expansive  and  confident.  he  is  rarely  insecure  about  something  and,  when  it  happens,  he  tries  to  hide  behind  several  layers  of  his  other  traits.  idris  is  a  very  intense  (  and  ends  up  being  careless  about  himself  because  of  it  )  man  and  he  normally  tends  to  devote  himself  to  things  &  people  with  impressive  ease  ―  but  he  is  also  known  for  quickly  getting  tired  and  bored  of  both  things  just  as  easily.  he  constantly  varies  between  the  arrogance  acquired  by  the  past  years  surrounded  by  money  &  fame,  and  humility  typical  of  those  who  grew  up  knowing  the  meaning  of  necessity  &  poverty.  idris  rarely  is  aggressive  or  hostile  toward  others  and  often  silently  directs  these  feelings  to  himself;  he  frequently  overcharges  himself  and  becomes  undeniably  frustrated  when  he  fails  to  achieve  his  goals.  the  football  player  is  a  very  sociable  man  and  makes  friends  with  ease.  he  doesn’t  like  to  stay  home,  doing  nothing,  although  the  accident  has  made  him  (  almost  )  used  to  the  stillness.

I wondered out of my bathroom just having had my bath i was meeting a girl today, it was technically our first date, but I’ve been chatting with her online for about six months and I was at last going to meet her for coffee, its not like either of us dont want to, we both wanted to for ages, but we work very much in the same business we consonantly work away from each other, Once i got dressed and sorted my self Out I locked up the house and wondered off into town with my headphones on Till Atlast I got to the coffee shop and I could see her sat at a table fiddling with her fingers so I went in and she smiled as she saw me getting up and giving me a hug I quickly hugged her too,

“Hey Y/n” I laugh but she pulled out of our hug and sat down so I got the other chair and sat across from her “Your Much Prettier in real life” I tell her and she blushed hard looking at the floor “You alright?” I ask her and she nods “Its just your not saying anything?” I laugh

“Oh sorry What did I miss?” A guy asked putting a coffee down in front of Y/n and sitting In the middle of us

“Clary?” 

Izzy drops her bags down in a heap as she calls to her friend, piling them around the leg of a table in the bakery’s front of house. 

“Out back!” comes Clary’s reply.

Izzy winds her way through the various tables, tub chairs and couches sat in the front of the shop. It always looks weird after hours, with everything dark save for the light from the street and the glow of the kitchen. Clary’s usually in there working on her new creations, which makes it a sure bet that if she’s late for something, that’s where she’ll be.

Biscuit started off as Jocelyn’s coffee shop library, where customers could come and peruse the bookshelves for something free to read while they had their drinks. Then Clary had got into pastry school, and Biscuit morphed into a bakery too when she moved back home after graduation.

Izzy peeps through into the kitchen. Sure enough, Clary’s there, leaning over a cupcake with a piping bag in her hand and a look of concentration on her face. She has a smear of icing sugar on her cheek and her fingers are stained with food colouring. She smiles when Izzy steps into the room.

“Two secs and you can try it,” Clary says before Izzy can speak. She finishes piping — Izzy moves closer and sees a two-tone rose design on the top — and places the bag down with a flourish. Clary pushes the cake towards Izzy and nods.

“You just finished it,” Izzy protests, though the cake looks amazing and she hasn’t eaten since lunchtime. 

Clary jerks her thumb behind her. “I made a dozen, so losing one won’t hurt. It’s just a trial run anyway.”

Izzy relents with a smile and picks it up. “It’s almost too pretty to eat,” she says, half sighing. 

Clary laughs. “Hm, well, I can’t resist pretty things,” she says, and then her eyes dart away, a dusting of pink settling across her cheeks. Heart skipping, Izzy watches Clary as she busies herself with clearing up her workspace. That sort of sounded like…? 

But it wasn’t. The two of them are just friends.

“What is it?” Izzy asks, peeling away the cake case.

“Red velvet with cookies and cream frosting,” Clary tells her. 

Izzy takes a bite and honestly, it feels like she’s gone to heaven. The cake is moist and light and everything tastes incredible. If a little moan escapes her, she’s not responsible. From the look Clary gives her, Izzy reckons some kind of sound did come out, but it’s not a bad look. It’s kind of a…hungry look. Which is oddly appropriate.

“This is amazing,” Izzy says truthfully. She takes another bite and finds something cold in the centre. 

Clary nibbles her lip. “It has an ice-cream core,” she says. “I don’t know if that works? Honestly, it’s not really that practical, but it just kind of came to me in a flash of inspiration. And I mean, who actually bites ice cream —?” She breaks off, raising an eyebrow at Izzy. “Okay, apparently you do.”

Izzy swallows, shrugging. “Who doesn’t bite ice cream? You people are pathetic.”

Clary just giggles and returns to clearing up the bench.

Izzy finishes up the cake and wipes her mouth. “That was beautiful,” she says.

“Thanks,” Clary says, though she still seems a little doubtful.

“Seriously,” Izzy says. “I mean, I might be biased because it was like, all my favourite things in a cake, but I loved it.”

Clary sort of freezes momentarily. “Huh,” she laughs. “Lucky guess, I guess.”

Izzy sends her a weird look. “Clary, you made my birthday cake. You know red velvet is my favourite,” she says, smiling. There’s a beat before Clary smiles too. “Not that I’m complaining,” Izzy adds, pulling out her lipstick to reapply after eating the cake. “I love trying everything you make.”

Clary hums. She seems a little despondent.

Izzy places a gentle hand on Clary’s arm. “Hey, don’t doubt yourself. Your new menu? It’s perfect. Literally, it’s like someone took all my fave things and put them into six different cakes,” she says. “I love it, and so will everyone else.” 

But instead of cheering Clary up, Izzy’s words seem to make Clary’s face fall further.

Clary sighs, then places her hand on top of Izzy’s and forces a smile. “You’re here early,” she says, and the change of subject is less than subtle. “I thought we weren’t meeting the others at the bar till nine?”

Luke’s recent promotion to Sergeant has given them all an excuse to get together — not that they need it — and celebrate, and Izzy’s looking forward to seeing people. She’s been squirrelled away studying for her final med school exams for a long time, so it’ll be nice to see Clary’s parents, along with all their friends.

“We’re not,” Izzy says. She licks her lips. “I just wanted to have you to myself for a bit, I guess. It feels like I haven’t seen you in ages.”

Clary lets out a little huff of laughter. “Yeah, sorry about that. I’ve just — it’s been super busy around here, and I’ve been doing overtime so Mom doesn’t have to, and…”

“No, I get it,” Izzy says, rubbing her thumb soothingly against Clary’s hand. Even though Clary’s doing what she loves, she has been putting in a lot of extra hours — with a baby on the way and Luke studying for his Sergeant exams, there haven’t been as many hands on deck recently. “My classes have been so hectic, too. We should definitely schedule in some time together, though.”

Clary stares at their hands, then closes her eyes. “Iz, there’s a reason why I’ve been avoiding you,” she says suddenly, and Izzy’s world stops.

“Did I do something?” she asks, heart in her mouth.

“No!” Clary says immediately, shaking her head wildly. “No, you haven’t done anything wrong, it’s all my fault. It’s — I —” She lets out a ragged breath. “The thing is,” Clary says, “I have a crush on you.” She says the last part in a rush and Izzy blinks to try and make sense of the words. 

“And I just, I don’t want this to ruin anything between us, ‘cause you’re one of my best friends and I don’t want to lose you because I made things weird or whatever,” she continues. “So I thought, if I try and spend some time away from you, maybe I’d get over you and then things could go back to how they were before.”

Izzy can’t help staring at Clary open-mouthed. It’s not often she’s lost for words, a witty comeback or a sharp retort dancing off the end of her tongue, but Clary’s confession has rendered her temporarily speechless.

“See?” Clary says, and she pulls her hand away to run it through her hair, face written over with guilt. “This is exactly what I didn’t want, and I just shouldn’t have said anything —”

“Clary,” Izzy says, catching her hand in her own again, “it’s okay.”

Clary sighs and she looks so sad as she glances at Izzy it makes Izzy’s heart squeeze.

“You mean a lot to me, and I wouldn’t let this come between us,” Izzy says, heart beating rapidly as she says her next words, “even if I didn’t have a crush on you too.”

Clary’s lips part and her eyes go almost comically wide. “What?”

Izzy smiles. “I like you too, Clary,” she says.

Clary seems a little dazed as Izzy steps closer to her, but there’s a smile tugging at her lips. 

“There’s a chance I might have overcomplicated this,” Clary says, and Izzy laughs. She pulls Clary into a hug and sighs happily as Clary buries her face in her shoulder. “Would you like to go on a date with me?”

Izzy squeezes Clary tighter. “We could go to this bar I know of,” she teases. Clary makes a sound somewhere between amusement and exasperation. “I’m not having a first date when my parents are there,” she says.

Izzy hums. “I guess we’ll figure something else out,” she suggests. 

Clary pulls back from the hug but stays close. Izzy reaches up to thumb away the sugar on Clary’s cheek.

“Can I kiss you?” Clary asks.

Izzy smiles slowly, nodding, and the last thing she sees before she closes her eyes is Clary smiling right back at her.
