Here's one of my weirdest, most far-fetched headcanons:

In the game Star Wars: Rebel Assault, you can choose at the start of the game if the player character is male or female. Funnily enough, the character is only ever referred to as "Rookie One", and has never gotten a canonical name in any other source, aside from that designation. Anyway, the gender choice doesn't really affect the gameplay or story in any way, except that the character has different voice actors. You rarely see their face during the game, most of the shots of them are from behind. There is one shot of their face, but it's obscured by a helmet, and as far as I can tell, the same picture is used no matter which gender you choose:

Now, at one point during the game, you meet a female pilot named Ru Murleen, who keeps on flying with you for the rest of the game:

After their first mission together, Ru invites Rookie One to have a drink with her:

Again, this scene is exactly the same, regardless of the gender of Rookie One. It could be read as Ru simply inviting a colleague for a drink for purely platonic reasons, of course. But it could also be read as her flirting with Rookie One.

After the release of Rebel Assault, it was unclear what the "canonical" gender of Rookie One was. At one point, there was a trading card released with a female version of the character:

However, in the sequel game, Rebel Assault II, Rookie One was established to be male. This was possibly because the game made extensive use of full motion video cutscenes, and the creators decided that they didn't want to re-shoot all the scenes with two different actors:

Now, in the second game, Rookie One and Ru Murleen do develop romantic feelings for each other, and the game ends with them kissing:

So here's where I get into my headcanon: The fact that Ru is in love with Rookie One in the second game, makes me think that she was in fact flirting with them in the first game. And, in my opinion, this goes for both versions of Rookie One, male or female. So there's an alternate Star Wars universe out there where Rookie One and Ru Murleen are a lesbian couple, which also might retroactively make this the first lesbian romance in any Star Wars media.

Yeah, I told you it was far-fetched.

Monica is an interesting character, because she is part of the lesser imperial nobility that has, somehow, more values in common with Faerghus out of anyone than with the "higher" nobility of Adrestia - Monica believes she has a duty to her people, that's why she's unhappy because she cannot stay H24 in Enbarr to simp to her heart's content after Supreme Leader, she has to look after her people :(

(note that not even once Linhardt, Heir of House Hevring, ever mention iirc, having to care for the people living in his domain, ditto for Bernie.)

It's another aspect we sort of (thanks to FEH) had with Mercedes too - Adrestian noblemen don't, uh, treat their wives that well (Hanneman's bro in law, Emile's dad, Ionius..) but Mercie's dad, Papa Martritz, apparently appreciated his wife so much that he taught her how to bake, and gave her his recipe for cookies - the one Mercie actually uses!

back to what @maelor321 and I were talking about a potential civil war in Adrestia - if the "great" nobles and the "minor" nobles' priorities are that different, how and why the hell didn't they rebel earlier? Is it because the Great Nobles Families tax them too much or are able to raise their own army or what not to crush them? Or we're supposed to believe Hubert and his 20 Good Men of House Vestra are able to quell any rebellion?

Sadly for us, instead of giving us a more detailed outlook on minor nobility in the Empire and what Adrestia is outside of Enbarr and the top dogs of the Empire... Monica became another Supreme Simp, and a joke.

Yay.
