I love how far WWX leans into his Evil Yiling Laozu role in this arc.#Better yet he invites LWJ over and is so unapologetic about it. It really does feel like a 'damn you live like this?" moment.#I think there are two kinds of friends in this world;#those that see your blood pit cave and say nothing and those that tell you they'll come by tomorrow to help you clean up.#ISAT thought time: I know Loop hangs out under a nice big tree 99% of the time but lets be honest;#If there was a evil bloody cave in the vicinity - that is 100% where they would ask Siffrin to meet them in.#Loop sends texts to their stardust with Ominous black images and says 'Go here. Into the dark.'#That or highly specific IP addresses that are right over sinkholes. Or in graveyards.#Point is; I think Loop and the Yiling Laozu would thrive in each other's aesthetics.

Scoria and Sakura are best friends! It's so cute when I see the things they do together, and it makes me so beyond happy that they both came to live with me so that they could share their lives with each other. They absolutely insist on it, and does so much good for the other.

I can't imagine how else they could have found happiness if things hadn't worked out exactly as they did. Scoria has basically been Sakura's "emotional support snake" while she worked through things from her past I'll never fully know that caused her a lot of issues with panic and fear. Sakura knows this too, and looks out for her sister, the only one she truly trusts and feels completely safe with.

The moment they wake up they both want each other to snuggle and play with. Scoria loves to be affectionate with both me and her sister who seems to have not had this earlier in her life- but Scoria is showing her how nice it is not only directly but demonstrating with me and Sakura also trying, copying what she has seen her sister do.

Sometimes when one goes to check on the other they'll join in on... I'm not even sure what they were doing. But they had a good time while taking a mandated union break from digging tunnels for the isopods.

So happy I get to share in the adventures of these two best friends! It makes me so happy to see them living their best lives together, and being beyond content snuggled together with their found family.

#cute #pets #snakes #friends #animals #I think Sakura tried copying Scoria and didn't quite get the full memo #So she went down the front bark and Scoria went down the back which leads into diggy dirt #And Sakura was like #“I followed friend into bark but where is friend???”#Meanwhile Scoria was probably oblivious her little sister was trying to find her & she may was well have her front half going into a portal #Eventually they found each other fully #And were very clear they prefer their home far more than this enclosure they helped build tunnels for #I'm glad to know they like their home #While I do want to make it more aesthetically pleasing #the current focus was filling it with things they enjoy #Specifically things they have a lot of fun playing with or on #I want their home to be the place they feel safe but also enjoy being in #not a prison #a bedroom #I think they like their enclosure but they sometimes don't want to go in it because they also really enjoy spending time with me #Scoria really does #but also communicates effectively when she is sleepy from playing and needs to rest #as much as they love each other when they go to sleep for the night they sleep alone #even with the option to stay near each other #I think this is nature rather than something I taught them by separating them into their own enclosures after play time #which makes me wonder if humans classified them as solitary just because they don't want room mates #like plenty of people i know choose to live alone but that doesn't mean they are introverts/solitary #I wonder if wild hoggies sleep alone (not counting brumation) and their social lives outside their den was completely ignored #Like I bet they live in a neighborhood or kingdom or whatever you want to call it #The fact they can communicate“I'm friendly let's be nice to each other”indicates a species that regularly comes into contact with each other

there’s something to be said about the fact that janus is the most professional out of all the sides. i genuinely think that he’s the only side playing his part because it’s his job, and not because he has any personal feelings attached.

virgil showed signs of genuinely wanting to be accepted and loved by thomas and the other sides. logan definitely values thomas’s validation a lot and becomes sad when he doesn’t get that validation. remus.. might actually be the second most professional side. but since he seems to work under janus (janus sending him over to thomas and telling him what to do), i guess a lot of that professionalism comes from janus himself. remus isn’t as stupid as he seems obviously, but he doesn’t have a clear-cut agenda like janus does.

i just think it’s interesting to see a side who is only concerned with thomas’s well-being because it’s their job and they want to do a good job. even janus’s frustration at thomas not taking his advice and later his excitement about thomas acknowledging his points came off to me as someone dealing with their kinda shitty boss (no offense to c!thomas, i just imagine that’s how janus views him lol). of course, janus has some fun at his job but i mean, i would too if no one ever listened to me and i’m automatically labelled as the bad guy.

all of this is slowly beginning to change since janus seems to be getting closer to patton but i guess we’ll have to wait and see if they actually become friends or if they’re more like coworkers on friendly terms.

Finally saw Wicked today. I fear it is, in fact, actually all that and a bag of chips. Like it is genuinely that good

#ramblings of a lunatic #storywise i actually found that they were stretching act 1 a bit thin and it showed in the pacing #but in terms of execution of the musical numbers and aesthetic quality of the sets/costumes/etc???#ohhh bitch. I'm sorry im so fucking seduced by john chu's vision of oz #i am also on team 'this bitch should be more technicolour' but I'm also not a lighting/cinematography guy #like i like Pictures and Images but I'm shit at lighting + composing film shots so yknow. stones and glass houses and everything #anywayyy i love the wizard of oz im a little obsessed w the wziard of oz and all related properties maybe. maybe #god idk if I'd actually enjoy it but i would be really curious to read the book version of wicked. i know it's incredibly different #not just in terms of focus and content but also in terms of being very dense and reportedly a lot drier #but also i do want to see his vision very badly. like when he made oz a surveillance state?? that's smart! it's plainly in the og series!#it's just treated as normal there #but anyway yeah back to the musical i am NOT ashamed to admit i got full body chills during defying gravity #there were parts that were so. sincere and self serious and melodramatic that i couldn't help but love #like YES enough!! with the self referential ironic humour crammed into everything!!!#linger on a moment for far too long and make me sit uncomfortably in the saccharine melodrama!!! it's good for me!!!#the people want big budget fantasy musicals gang...they want razzle and dazzle and heartfelt song!!#and i agree with the ppl. i AM the ppl #wicked movie. good. i enjoy #might just be riding the high of watching it but like idc I'm allowed

ive been trying to learn more about sewing dolls and plush toys because i want to step up my game from my current cut-out-2-identical-shapes-and-sew-them-together plush expertise but its kind of tricky looking into patterns online to try out when ur not into the 2015 north american kawaii perfectly symmetrical firmly stuffed big head pastel •ᴗ• this face on everything plush aesthetic.

#i dont dislike kawaii plush aesthetics entirely like i love a weird like just two big dot eyes no mouth look #thats really funny and i like a good :3 face. especially if its a >:3 #but i am nawwwt into the like two perfect black circle eyes far apart with a tiny half circle line in between them #i dont care for the placid smile. i like either really exagerrated expressions or no expression at all LOL #i do enjoy a lot of vintage plush patterns tho. they work well with my taste for floppy understuffed plush with weird kitschy goofiness #particularly 50s to 70s - 50s for more bizarre construction and 70s for better constructed plush that are just kinda goofy #80s plush patterns also make me laugh because of all the licensed patterns. i saw a plush pattern for nerds? like the candy?#plus all those homemade carebears.... so cute. they should come out with licensed customizable plush patterns again #i think i might have to. hashtag go to my libraries. and look at any slightly older toy sewing books they have <3 #time to..... hashtag learn

for like 3 weeks i was wondering why i was sleeping so much and felt listless. and just now I managed to email 3 people and responded to a month old message in the span of an hour because I got back to TAKING MY FUCKIN MEDS..........

#MOTHER FFFFUCKER #to be fair. my doc said I could stop taking them while im on break since i wouldnt need to be constantly pumped on stimulants #im not sure if it was a side effect but i managed to take like 3 different naps in one day and STILL managed to sleep thru the whole night #at least 2 days into my break. the weird thing is i didnt feel more or less rested afterwards. but mentally i think im in a good place rn #to really put the level of awakeness im at rn i feel weirdly confident i could start one piece. also bc of that sick new opening it BANGS #the song is really good and im in love with the animation style. did some digging and it seems one of the lead animators is masato mori #but i could be wrong. it seems he also did some work on mp100 which could explain a lot lol.. he uses smear frames really well to convey #consistent movement and fluidity!!! someone else might have done color design but it works really really well esp with odas style!!#just love the overall vibe and aesthetic and id really love to study it and incorporate a bit of it into my art.. especially the thick #outlines which i think helps to separate characters and objects on screen. though i have to say the style is definitely more suited to #animation bc of the simpleness and smears. maybe that will help me explore shapes and perspective when i draw... i wanna get better #at drawing poses and angles but i have a hard time wrapping my head around space and using perspective guide lines NGHHHH #i wonder if it has to do with my dogshit ability to judge distance. not depth perception but like. judge how far smth is in metres etc #im also wearing an N95 for the first couple weeks back bc of the wave. absolutely NO BODY is wearing a mask its so fucking over #where im sitting ive heard 5 different people coughing probably not into their elbows!!! and im just. head in my fucking hands #there was a kid sitting a couple seats away in class coughing as he pleases and i wanted to grab him in a chokehold so badly. PLEASEE #ive been annoying my family by asking them to mask up and reminding them to bring masks when they go out and showing them news articles #but at least its working bc we ordered some KN95s and my mom is at least taking me seriously so. please dont be afraid to speak up abt your #health. take care of yourself and others however u can!! wear that mask indoors at your maskless friends house!!! stay home when u can!!#im wearing a surgical mask at home too bc my parents have '''a dry throat cough''' and they are so bad at coughing into their sleeves #also im pretty sure dry throat isnt transmissible bc my brother started coughing too so.. i also tested negative but they havent tested yet #im also not a doctor but i have to keep reminding ppl whenever i can that covid and flu work differently. covid is new and too recent to #have nearly as much research done on it. it seems its also compounding so instead of building immunity it weakens the body and spreads to #to other systems which might explain brain fog and muscle weakness. i remember someone early in the pandemic got infected and it messed up #their smell/taste receptors so bad that they cant eat most foods and that stays in the front of my mind when i think abt covid. christ #yapping

IS GINTOKI EVEN REAL?#is this just the gintoki that lives in takasugi's dying brain and utsuro's dying brain that utsuro got from shouyou's humanity brain fungus #being his shinigami/psychopomp to walk him thru his first ever death. guhhhhhhh. littlest baby on the planet who is afraid of dying.#<- i love utsuro with all my heart. sorry for being mean to him at first turns out he's the char of all time meant for me.#anyways i think the movie is. Characters with pet crows/crow aesthetic/heavily associated with crows for reasons is so heavily overused but SO GOOD, creators of these characters are so right and should never stop
