Do ferrets need a raw meat diet or is fancy cat food ok for them?? I'm getting conflicting answers, I hear a lot of people are against raw feeding dogs and ferrets, but a lot say kibble is bad

Hope this helps lol.
#There are diets made for ferrets specifically but many are. Questionable.#I recommend Mazuri brand ferret pellets for the best nutritional balance#but yes certain cat foods are sufficient you just really need to know how much protein and taurine and such and such#to make sure you’re getting a good food#feeding raw makes it very hard to balance nutrition and may expose your ferret to food borne illness#you can offer frozen then thawed mice and such and cooked eggs as supplements and treats but not as the main diet

#yeah so like the whole trauma of losing a cat so suddenly and quickly has certainly left its mark#she declined so quickly and i can’t get her meows out of my head no matter how hard i try#one of my other cats meowed a few times as she ran for the food which she does A LOT…. but fucking christ my heart dropped#she’s perfectly fine she just wanted food but now my anxiety is back and sitting on my chest and the pit of my stomach lol#i had my first moment this afternoon where i genuinely looked for her before remembering that she’s not going to be there#my :) heart :) hurts :)#the only way out is through#and that’s great and all but i wish it would go faster#i can’t wait until it’s not so raw because it feels fucking grating right now#like someone has my heart squeezed in their hands#sigh sigh sigh i’m so sad and anxious this is so rough ;-:#i’ll delete this later but. i just need to put it somewhere for now.

oh my god I need to order food for Sammy asap but my bank account is VERY sad. Can the month be over already. So much anxiety 😵🥵
#random stuff#sam the papillon#I had to increase his portions because he was getting to thin#no idea how to keep that up in the long run 😖#wet food is SO expensive#and while this isn't even the most expensive stuff#I can't just feed him trash because he's pretty sensitive about food orz#ideally he should be getting raw but I can't do that for several reasons 💔#not fun#once all the positions have been booked I'll have less than 50€ left ahahaha#and once I've paid my part for the house it's only 15€ 🙈#I guess no groceries for me next week 😂#this is scary as hell lol#technically I also need to buy food for Bats but I hope what I've got left lasts until I get my benefits#also cat litter#that one will be a stretch to last for the entire next week but nothing to be done at this point#thankfully Pukki is relatively resilient when it comes to her litter box 😅

Out of all the dragons, I'd pick Caraxes. He's so unique and I KNOW I could match his freak if given the chance. Meleys is a close second bc she is gorgeous. But my real first choice, if he was even claimable (his track record thus far says he isn't and never will be) is The Cannibal. He'd be my little pookie.

I love that I'm training my cat to meow because somehow despite multiple previous human families he seemed to have no idea that you can ask for a human's attention. Like I appreciate not constantly screaming for more food of course, but like this man will just sit quietly in a different room and wait for a human to walk by and notice that he wants them to open a door or turn on the water. Like buddy there's a very simple solution here and it's considered beginner level catting.
