m Pot de Ganache: Raspberries, once a midsummer’s crop and partaken only by the rich in Medieval Europe, our Raspberries & Cream is available year round and is made with organic cream, red raspberries, sugar and our specially formulated 33%+ light milk chocolate that enhances the natural flavors and sweetness of the raspberry, but not overwhelm it. 

m Truffle: The Red Raspberries & Cream ganache is typically enrobed in our 40%+ BAUTA™ White Chocolate or one of our fine chocolates below and topped with raspberry bits or powder.

History: Raspberries belong to the genus Rubus, in the Rose family and are believed to have originated in Asia Minor. In Greek mythology, the berries were once white, but when Zeus’ nursemaid, Ida, pricked her finger on a thorn, it stained the berries red and they have remained so ever since.  The scientific name for Red Raspberries is Rubus Idaeus, means literally “bramble bush of Ida”, named both for the nursemaid and the mountain where they grew on the island of Crete.
