Little Miss Perfect - SnowPunz Moodboard

I’ve had this idea in mind for SnowPunz for years. I even posted something about it here on Tumblr, but I’m too lazy to try and find it. I love these two, even if I don’t come up with as much for them compared to other ships.

This story mostly follows the “Little Miss Perfect” song, with Snow (or Flykra as she’s called in my modern AUs) and Rapunzel going to a private school. Rapunzel is the junior class president, while Flykra is the newest student in school, and the two first met when Punz is asked to show her around.

Now, Rapunzel is the daughter of the mayor (Frederic) and is always being told that anything she does could affect his image, at least by her stepmother, Gothel. And she’s president because of how well liked she is by the student body overall. But when Flykra comes into her life, it throws everything she knows into question.

I really love this song and these two fit the idea for it perfectly. Sure, Isastrid could fit it as well, but the roles here in this story works better for SnowPunz.

Rapunzel is very queer to me but in the neurodivergent and sheltered kid way of not knowing being queer is a thing for the longest time.

She was so isolated for most of her life, only outside information being books Gothel gave her and what Gothel told her when fearmongering. So considering she genuinely believed the thing about men being monsters with fangs and such, it makes sense she wouldn't fantasize about being in a relationship with a man, or really anyone for that matter considering Gothel sure as hell wouldn't talk about that with her other than like, very surface level. Hell, for aforementioned reasons she probably never even thought of men in that context until meeting Eugene.

But I feel like she would have the 'wow this lady in the illustration in book is really pretty!' (<- in the baby gay way) and then more and more of that until it was like genuine attraction when she was free and actually interacting with people, she'd have the 'what do you mean it's not considered normal to find women equally as appealing as men' and also the 'I'm a girl and comfortable with that but totally wouldn't mind/am neutral to they/them' <- no knowledge of pronouns outside of the context of grammar.

Anyways she's queer and also probably autistic. Do you see the vision.
