Did this fun challenge where I designed a creature with randomized traits! This one's traits were: Land animal, mountain environment, deer-sized, specialist herbivore, produces a substance to feed young, and has external ears. I might have to do more of these challenges, as it was very fun!

i love the sims 3. there is a chance of your infant being mysteriously sent this doll, and if they name it and play with it throughout their toddler years, childhood, and teen years, they can give it a potion as an adult to make it human. and then they can marry it

And Iliana Finley-Arcoberry. Iliana has always been a cautious child, skeptic of even the lemons her mother likes to force onto her (but she doesn't hesitate to bite her countless sleep-deprived babysitters' fingers). Of the two, she talks a lot more, speaks up quite a bit much, and argues nonsensically with everyone on everything - but that's how it is when your parents are busy and you get left behind with suspicious strangers, you end up wanting more attention, throwing more fits, and crying a lot more to get you both what you want. You become a bit of a fussy child.

i had no idea that their old apartment had the gremlins trait, and there was no way in hell i was gonna deal with that. so i took the money they made from selvadorada and sold some collectables and got them outta there lol. cheers to a new place!

Harry’s second birthday marked a milestone in the life of the Carter family, but it also brought with it new challenges as his personality continued to develop. He had grown into a fussy toddler whose favorite hobbies were making mischief and crying for attention, often leaving his parents exhausted. 

Harry loved to wander, as soon as he was set down he would take off, requiring constant vigilance from his parents. His adventurous spirit kept them on their toes, ensuring his safety as he explored the world around him. 

Another aspect of Harry's toddlerhood was his difficulty in waking up. Whether it was morning or just after naptime, he always seemed to rouse from sleep in a grumpy and groggy state, making those initial moments of waking a challenge for his parents. 

Finally, Harry’s picky eating habits presented more challenges. He would toss unwanted food off his high chair, creating quite a mess. The one exception to his selective palate was applesauce, which has been almost his entire diet. 

Despite the trials of parenting a fussy toddler, Rosalie and George cherished their son deeply. They knew that each stage of childhood came with its own unique set of trials, and Harry’s adventurous and spirited nature made the journey both challenging and incredibly rewarding. Even if the only moments of tranquility they found were during his peaceful slumber, they embraced every bit of the joy he brought into their lives.

Eddy, with his emotions on the edge, couldn't contain his anger any longer and unleashed a torrent of words before Helena. "I swear, I can't make heads or tails of what's gotten into that boy. He ought to be grateful for all we've done for him!" he fumed, his frustration palpable. "Sometimes, I reckon it's tempting to take him by the scruff of his neck and give him a good lashing right there in the town square, like a stubborn horse!"

Helena, understanding that Eddy was merely venting his frustrations through harsh words.

As Eddy and Helena made their way out of the kitchen, traversing the dimly lit hall towards their bedroom, Helena's remorseful voice broke the silence. "Perchance, I have not been doing enough…" she spoke softly, her words tinged with regret. "I had hoped his misbehavior would surely improve as he outgrew his infancy."

Eddy let out a weary exhale, his voice laced with a tinge of regret. "No, Dove. This one's on me. Silas, that boy of ours, he's been actin' reckless and irresponsible. Ain't got no grasp of the value of a hard day's toil. It's my fault—I've let him run wild and play without instilling a sense of purpose in him."

Helena, her arm linked with Eddy's, tightened her grip on his hand as the rain relentlessly pelted the roof, creating a symphony of soothing sounds. Rivulets of water ran down the window panes, blurring the outside world.

With a heavy heart, Helena voiced her thoughts, "I had known that raising children would present challenges, but I never fathomed it would be as arduous as this..."

Eddy's brow furrowed deeply as he turned to face Helena, crossing his arms firmly over his chest.

" I've been far too lenient with Silas, lettin' him run wild, Boys, especially when bored, tend to stir up trouble. But I've had enough of it," he said, his tone firm and unwavering.

They stepped into the dimly lit bedroom, the soft glow of a kerosene lamp casting shadows on the worn wooden furniture. Eddy strode purposefully toward his side of the bed, his worn boots creaking on the worn floorboards.

"Come sunrise, Silas is gonna learn the value of hard work on this here farm," Eddy declared, his eyes fixed on Helena. "He's gotta shoulder the responsibilities and understands what it means to be a man in these parts. If he's gonna carry on this land and raise his own kin someday, he's gotta start takin' it seriously."

Helena met his gaze with a resolute nod, her eyes reflecting both agreement and a touch of worry. "You're right, Eddy... "

Helena approached her side of the bed while Eddy, tired from the day's toil, sat on his side of the bed and began removing his mud-stained boots.

"Silas can be as stubborn as a mule, Eddy. What makes you think he'll listen and work as he should? He's been defying us at every twist and turn."

Eddy turned his head to cast a stern gaze over his shoulder as he continued to unbutton his worn-out shirt.

"I ain't about to tolerate no child disrespectin' his own mother. It's high time Silas learns the true meanin' of responsibility and hard work. If he can't step up and do his part, then he'll have to find himself a job elsewhere. I won't stand for idleness under this roof," Eddy proclaimed firmly, his words punctuated by the sound of a boot hitting the wooden floor.

"If I have to, I'll send him straight to reform school."

Helena's heart sank at the thought of sending their only son away, but she knew deep down the reasoning behind it. With a heavy sigh, she settled onto the bed.

As she lay there, Helena clasped her hands together in prayer. "Dear Lord, I beseech thee, to guide Silas onto the right path. Spare us from the painful choice of sending him away. "

Double Wedding 1927 Myrtle & Billy Bjergsen Vinnie & Don Bjergsen

Myrtle and Vinnie shared a wedding and married brothers Billy and Don. With the recent passing of their father, Billy took over the Bjergsens' profitable family business. Don is quite a bit younger than his brother and has no interest in the family business. Rather, he plans to explore Selvadora as an archaeologist. Vinnie was ready for that kind of excitement in her life. Myrtle almost got cold feet before the wedding, but Vinnie reminded her that the Bjergsen family wealth would have her set for life and she'd end up an old maid if she backed out now.

So this is a little challenge I have whipped up and just thought it would be fun, please tag it as #jaim on EA gallery and comment if you are going to do it! This challenge is not complete and feedback is appreciated! Without further ado lets delve into the rules and of course the challenge

Rules:

Gen One will be the only generation with a preselected trait! The goal is to randomize your sims and hope they fit well with the aspiration they have

Heirs can be any gender of your choosing

Starting funds are allowed or you can play in the "Rags to Riches" style. But no money cheats.

Play on normal lifespan

GEN ONE: FINDING TRUE LOVE

You never have seemed to believe in love, be it because you never understood it or you simply just had unhappy parents the concept of love always seemed to escape you. Up until now, that has been fine... but as you have grown older, you realize that you want more to life. The idea of children and a wife seem like a great idea. So now you have set on a quest to find love and overcome whatever is blocking you from having it!

Goals of this Generation:

Start as a Young Adult

Have the "Noncommittal" trait and complete the "Soulmate" life aspiration

Master the Charisma skill (if you have Parenthood, also master the Parenting skill)

Have as many children as you want with your spouse (if you have Growing Together, hit five milestones in each of your children's life stage)

Maintain maximum friendship and romantic relationship with your spouse until the end of your life

GEN TWO: CAREER PERSON

You saw the devotion your parents had to one another, but you did know one thing was missing- a good solid career. You figure that love can wait until you are older, you need to spend as much time as you can creating an empire... that is, if you can find the career that is right for you.

Goals of this Generation:

Complete the "Renaissance Sim" life Aspiration

Master the Logic and Handiness skills

Avoid getting married until you are an adult (note: not young adult)

Reach the max level of any career, do not retire

Have 3 children

GEN THREE: RENOWN

There was one thing which you had been gifted with- money, but you want more to your life! You want to be remembered by someone for more than just working a dead end job, you want to be remembered for your poise and talent! No matter what the cost is.

Complete the "Painter Extraordinaire" or "Best-Selling Author" Aspiration

Do not have a career

If you have Get Famous then try to become a five star celebrity
