Bucktommy kinda sorta have the same vibe as Ben and Michael from QAF. Dorky enthusiast meets some slightly older man with a cleft and is absolutely smitten.

itadori loves your grandma.
he always gets so excited when you go to visit her together, putting on his best sweater (which is the one she knitted for him) and making sure he looks extra presentable. having a good impression in front of your family members is important!
once the two of you arrive, it's like he magically turns into the perfect grandson — or maybe he always has been. he engages in conversations, offers to help with cooking, offers to clean up whatever he can, and buys her groceries. all in one day.
and then in the morning, you'll find the two of them baking together, using her special recipe book that she refused to share with you a few months prior. your groggy self couldn't afford to be mad though, the smell of fresh bread and tarts filling the air, then cartoonishly seeping out the open window.
you also can't get mad at his toothy smile, alongside a tray of your favourite childhood treat carried in his hands.

I shared this on the dead on main server, but just for all of your brain itches also:
So there's Danny-suddenly a halfa- by definition both alive and dead. He is two things that are diametrically opposed. They cannot exist at the same time, so they don't.
Every time Danny goes ghost, he dies again. Each time the rings of light engulf him he has a moment again of being electrocuted to death. Phandom greatly enjoys giving Danny Lichtenberg scars, but electric shock has other common symptoms such as hearing loss, tremors, and seizures...
...all things Danny faces every time he comes back to life.
It takes them awhile to put it all together- that transforming and fighting makes it all worse- and by then Danny's been through rounds of medication for his seizures that do nothing and has a permanent level of hearing loss. (And Ancients does the hearing loss explain some of his troubles with school.)
Part of Danny is tempted, each and ever time, to stay a ghost where he doesn't feel the constant ache of pain and trembling muscles and muted world. Part of him is tempted to stay dead.
But he pulls through it. Things settle with the ghosts. Danny is able to hang up Phantom and being a hero and instead focusing on living. The seizures stop, the tremors and pain have good days and bad, Tucker helped him make some amazing hearing aides... he lives.
He gets an internship with the Wayne Foundation and their outreach helping children left permanently injured by the attacks in Gotham- inspired in part by Jason Todd-Wayne's own partial hearing loss from an explosion.
When they meet, neither of them quite know just how deeply the other person can understand what they've been through.

in regards to the constant dismissal of his aroace identity, i hate it when alastor 'fans' say and use the excuse: "he's fictional, he won't get offended."
like, you're right, but it can and will offend us.
when you see yourself being represented on screen, of course you'd feel enthusiastic about it — representation allows individuals to see themselves reflected in the media they consume, validating their identities and experiences. but when so many people take that representation and decide to disregard and discard it, it is so fucking frustrating. we finally have another character to be part of the tiny amount of representation we have, but then people don't even care about how much it means to us? like yeah, alastor won't get offended because he's not real, but it frustrates and annoys us. do you realize that it's also technically invalidating the aroace community? that you're invalidating our feelings? imagine feeling like you're finally being seen because your orientation is finally being represented in media, and people just decide to blatantly ignore, discard, and invalidate it.
media has such a powerful influence on real life, representation being a prevalent factor of it. there are numerous posts that dictate how people went to watch a movie/show or read a book just because a character depicts their identity in it — obviously, being represented is an incredibly uplifting and validating experience.
which is why seeing an aroace character in a popular show is so meaningful to us because we live in a world where romance and sex are literally everywhere and prioritized above all else. (and it's pretty obvious that alastor's on the repulsed end of the spectrum, but even if he wasn't, at least make an effort to acknowledge his sexuality instead of continuing to portray him as allo; aroace folks can be in relationships but it's not going to be the same thing with allos' experiences.)
any and every representation matters, but why does that seem to stop at people under the aroace spectrum? like y'all can't even let us appreciate the scraps of representation we have. we barely have any, so are we really that dramatic for being upset at how people easily disregard and dismiss our identities that are being depicted on screen just like that? is it truly wrong of us to want to defend and maintain the little representation we have?

Ghost's the type of guy who, when he locks eyes with someone instead of averting his eyes he'll keep staring at them with his big eyes and then the other person's the one who has to look away.

Looking at Kenny's bedroom makes me wonder if he's simply a disorganized boy and won't listen to his mom or it could be bc that while for some boys in south park their mothers make their bed (e.g. Cartman) and for others they're told to do that themselves (e.g. Kyle) so at least there's the pressure of their moms to make their bed, but since Kenny parents are not around to be actual parents then Kenny was left alone to do these chores and since he's disorganized (or low self steem-) he won't mind his bedroom being a mess. And I say disorganized and not irresponsible because if we follow this logic he'd do other chores by himself AND for Karen. I like this second version more because iirc Carol does consider Kenny to be a good son and they don't really have a beef going on, really shown when he gets his own bedroom and is free to do wtw he wants probably (this lenient attitude is more shown in early seasons when Karen didn't exist but I think it still applies till now) so why would he refuse to make his bed and cleaning his bedroom?
Tumblr media
Another detail I'd like to point out is that if we follow the logic that Kenny does most of the chores then it could be possible that he actually is who cleans Karen's bedroom (just look, is definitely cleaner than any place in the house), only a hc bc it could perfectly be Kevin or Karen herself who does this but think about it
We really don't know a lot about Kevin, only that he has beef with Stuart and they fight often, he's not seen around the McCormick's household so it could be kinda implied he doesn't spend a lot of time in his home, avoiding it altogether crashing at his friends place. Maybe.
Tumblr media
About Karen c'mon, first, she's a small child so is less likely she already learned how to do chores (i mean is at her age when you learn) and the idea of Kenny ignoring his own bedroom but diligently cleaning Karen's bedroom so she can have the best version of her place is more Kenny like
Tumblr media
The bedroom is still kinda disorganized but it would be bc since Kenny is already a messy boy, even if he cleans he wouldn't ace at this but is clean enough for Karen to be at a safe space I think. It's even cleaner in the next pic
Tumblr media
So is Kenny being a good sibling? Kenny is being a good bro

I think the important thing about body neutrality and body positivity existing side by side is that body positivity is a big hurdle for people who are just starting to work on learning to love their bodies. When someone's at their lowest point, it's better to say "aim for just fine," and once they reach that level of neutrality where they can appreciate the functional ways their body is serving them, it's a lot more feasible to make the jump to seeing the visual beauty of it.

I just had a random thought in my mind regarding Zuko's and Azula's luck.
In the finals of Book 1, Zuko says the following lines:
You're like my sister. Everything always came easier to her. She's a firebending prodigy... and everyone adores her.
My father says she was born lucky. He says I was lucky to be born. (...)
We all know this scene, it is after all one of the first scenes we get about Zuko and his struggles. The lucky prodigy princess who everyone adores and the banished prince who everyone thinks is a failure.
But, throughout the series we see that's not the case, the one with love and luck is really Zuko, not Azula. Azula may be a prodigy, but she has no one but herself at the end of the series. It's really quite ironic.

It's funny how the leaks subreddit is the safest place if you don't want to encounter leaks or spoilers. Everything is properly tagged and spoiler-tagged, you can choose how much you want to see.
Meanwile the rest of the internet just posts major spoilers with zero warning.
