thinking about that post that is like "the internet is great because there are all kinds of people out there that are attracted to all kinds of bodies and behaviors, it has helped my body image issues" and honestly? very true as a butch who was made to feel ashamed of my body hair and cargo shorts and whatever when i was even like 13 years old. i didn't start wearing shorts out in public again until this summer. for the first time in 14 years. however, this is like a double-edged sword. i feel like so much of the shit i see online about butches is almost exclusively about sex. wanting a butch to fuck you. wanting to fuck a butch. the leg hair can't be just leg hair anymore, the butch grew it for you to salivate over. the tank top isn't for comfort, it's for you to ogle the butch's chest and arms. the butch doesn't have rough hands because of her job or her hobbies, it's for you to feel when she fucks you. it's like, does even a masculine woman, a type of woman so hated by society, still only exist as a sexual object? and it sucks so bad because it's literally coming from other women.

i'm not saying that being attracted to butches is bad (hell i'm literally butch4butch) but when that is the only material you're ever seeing about people like you it just gets fucking weird and depressing. can y'all write about how you think butches that make quilts or whittle birds out of wood or do car mods or work as community organizers or something are cool in the butch tag instead of just your horny or romantic fantasies. can you let us be full people and not like a walking strap.

imagining a guy who's the plaything of this godlike figure who had made him immortal solely for the purpose of being able to dismember and disembowel him without him dying (is it a prometheus situation and he heals back every day? does he have to be nursed back to health and has to deal with chronic pain caused by having your insides spaghettified every day?) and like i imagine that after what feels like forever of feeling the worst possible pain you become used to it, like the inverse of how children can't handle pain because it's the worst they've ever felt because they haven't had enough experiences to build their pain tolerance?
