after they figure out the connection between Ed and Al’s bodies, whenever someone pokes fun of how much he eats, Ed will angrily insist that he’s eating for two. literally no one aside from Winry and Al ever knows what he’s talking about.

Do you ever think about the fact that Punz’s hoodie is white?… like do you think he got home after the prison break and saw splotches of blood stains on his hoodie (from Dream’s hug) and got concerned? Or did he brush it off as injuries from the fight or whatever…

Like just imagine, hours later after the adrenaline has died down and he’s taking off his white hoodie and he notices blood. Alarmed, he looks down at himself but sees no wounds as expected. He scans his brain - then where would the blood be from? And then he thinks about their meetup, this time noting Dream’s appearance. The tears in the orange jumpsuit, the blood new and old crusting its edges, the scars peppering the spots of skin not covered and he realizes that “little south” meant Hell…

christopher dropping the salad bowl to the floor and ignoring eddie and being so upset over finding out that eddie had a girlfriend and he called an uber and went over to buck’s apartment because he felt safe enough going over there and he told buck he was a good friend after earlier in that same episode taylor had said he wasn’t a good friend at all like again details with this show and like that fact that not only is buck a parental figure in christopher’s life because they go to the zoo together, he takes care of him and look after him and loves him very much so and always is excited to see him, it’s the fact that he also just views him as a friend and trusts him when he doesn’t want to confine in eddie and I think that’s just beautiful and sweet all on it’s own and their relationship is so special in that way

Turns out, the symbolism was so much fun to twist into the 11 seconds I had to work with, I ended up going way more complex than I meant to. If you wanna read the fic this was based on, please do!! And tell the author I said hi! :D

as for headcanons, to me he is (after Dooku) the daddest dad to ever jedi

like, in legends he had two other padawans before depa. which is overall the same amount of padawans as dooku – who is like twenty or so years older! considering the time and care that goes into raising a padawan, mace had to have had them just back to back from the moment he could!

also i've seen so many lines of him from comics and books about how depa is basically his daughter!!!

sometimes I kinda wish tumblr had something akin to a twitter circle or Instagram close friends list. bc sometimes I kinda wanna say something but not necessarily to Everyone. i feel like tags are almost equivalent bc they’re like the Secret Whisper-Rant Place except anyone can see them. so eddie is going to spend a few months alone without his son and has the first chance in his life to really think about everything that has happened to him in the last few years and it could be the perfect chance for this man to get some help in terms of actually attending therapy consistently and working out years upon years of trauma like as much as he says he’s over shannon, he needs to comes to terms with yes I loved her but I wasn’t in love with her type debacle in his mind and then we can get him to slowly start to think about who’s always been there for him since day one of joining the 118. and I’m not saying that Eddie is going to be immediately fixed from attending therapy (like this is coming also from someone that has PTSD, depression and anxiety and still processing childhood trauma and even trauma from the last few years) but it gets us to a point where Eddie feels secure with his emotional side and is able to process his feelings in a healthier way because again we have seen how self destructive he can be when avoiding confrontation with how he currently feels about a given situation
