AU scene inspired by a convo with a friend this week:

After the end of UtRH, Bruce never told anyone about the revelation of who was under that helm (for this, the attack on Titan’s Tower never happens) and instructs Alfred to keep quiet.

Years go by, and Red Hood becomes nothing but a sidenote. Bruce doesn’t know what became of Jason, and is half convinced the person he fought wasn’t really his son. He keeps an ear out for rumors, but there are more important things to focus on.

Insert some elaborate scheme from the Joker where Bruce and at least Dick and Tim are there.

Joker: we have quite the little reunion here. Too bad we’re missing one of the little birds. Say, whatever happened to him after our last meeting, Batsy?

Dick, pissed: did he mean that little to you that you forgot you killed him?

Joker, grinning: oh? Didn’t daddy bats tell you? The little bird who’s darling mother sold him to me to save her own skin somehow crawled out of his grave and came back donning my old moniker. It was really something, let me tell you. Though I still can’t get over the leather. It’s not a choice I’d ever make

Dick, now processing the info about Jason’s mother, him coming back to life, and remembering a certain crime lord who appeared and disappeared mysteriously: if you forgot, the last time you mentioned him, I nearly killed you. I don’t appreciate the lies

Joker: no lies this time, boy blunder. Tell him Batsy

Bruce, after feeling Dick’s death glare: the crime lord, Red Hood, did claim to be the second Robin

Joker, tutting: now Batman, you know as well as I do that was your kid. And for all his posturing, that plan of his was an elaborate cry for help.

Tim, glancing between the Joker, Bruce, and Dick: what plan?

Bruce: he was going to kill the Joker, and I stopped him

Joker, cackling; it was so much more than that. He gave you three choices: 1) kill me 2) stop him from killing me or 3) walk away and let him kill me. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure your little bird wanted to know if you valued me over him. I mean, you did leave him alone to chase after a truck you believed I was in the day he died, right?

Dick, to Bruce: you said you stopped him…?

Before Bruce can say anything, the Joker interrupts: oh! You should have seen it! He threw one of his Batarangs and sliced open his own kid’s neck! And then he just left him there to die as the entire building came down. But me? Ol’ Batsy made sure we can continue our dance. I can’t imagine how the kid felt knowing his father figure chose me over him for a second time

And this would be about when the Joker would be punched in the face.

What if TGS… but wizards

Four Swords AU, but all the Colors have some type of animal mixture related to the elements.

Green is some kind of bird, he’s got wings and sharp talons on his hands. Chirps on occasion (usually to get someone’s attention, like a “look here” whistle). He can fly, but landing is the hard part, so he doesn't very often.

Blue is mixed with a shark, a bit like a Zora but more Hylian in appearance. He has super sharp teeth, dorsal fins on his back (but no tail), gills and webbed fingers/toes. Doesn’t need to constantly be in water, but does require frequent hydration or else he gets a bit sick.

Red is mixed with a fire salamander, and is, unsurprisingly, the whole reason I started thinking about this. He’s got a tail (that can grow back if pulled off), is cold blooded (and thus tries to cuddle the others for warmth), and probably isn’t poisonous. Probably. (Okay, he is, but it’s only a problem when he’s scared.)

Vio is mixed with a mole, so he’s got a few drawbacks, but he can work around them. He’s not completely blind (and neither are most moles), but he can’t open his eyes in direct daylight without getting flash-banged, so he usually keeps them closed unless it’s dark. He has claws, a very short tail (that he hides), and can’t actually see color.

I like to think Shadow is mixed with a moth but I haven’t actually thought about that too hard.

Here’s some nebulous, random concepts I’ve also come up with:

- They maintain the diets of their animal counterparts, so they’re all carnivorous (and may or may not try to eat things their respective animals do on occasion).

- For the most part, all of them are mixed with solitary animals, but overtime adapt to being in a group (though working together is still somewhat of a struggle).

- They all have the potential to become territorial, but seeing as they're almost always moving locations, it's not much of an issue. (Finding out moles are "fiercely territorial" was unnecessarily funny to me.)

- At some point, Blue probably stomps on Red's tail and it falls off. Cue up the absolute insanity that follows. Red cries about it for all of five minutes before revealing that it didn't actually hurt and he's fine. It'll grow back.

- Vio, despite his bad eyesight, can still read and shoot his bow; it just takes a bit to learn how to accommodate it. He sits in the shade to read or pulls a blanket over his head (usually joined by Red who's looking for warmth). Firing his bow is a bit more tricky, but he's still able to make out light shapes behind his closed eyelids (like moles do), so it's mostly a matter of not shooting his teammates (and working around his claws).

- Green does enjoy flying when he can manage it, despite the shaky landings. But he often has to fight the urge to scoop up Red or Vio since they're both prey to his animal attribute. He probably wouldn't try to eat them, but he could accidentally injure them all if he weren't careful. Especially since Red becomes poisonous on contact when scared, and Vio would struggle.

Green probably couldn't pick up Blue even if he were trying to.

- None of them know how they got mixed with animals in the first place, or why they're all so drastically different. It's an au mystery with no intended answer lmao.

I can't help but draw them like this as it gives me an idea of an AU where MaoMao is a cat witch and Jin Shin is a powerful but low-class beastman or was he truly a low-class?

I have an idea of what the other character might be in this fantasy au I had in my mind. Mainly I have thought about MaoMao origin.

"What if Hyde was 7 years ol-"

What if Hyde was a young man who robbed Jekyll late one night, and to avoid being arrested manipulated Jekyll into taking him into his home and 'adopting him'. Jekyll accepts because it'd make him look like a better man, especially after he drunkenly injured a child. For a while, he allows Hyde to continue going out at night. After all, he doesn't truly care for him. But eventually, he becomes envious, Hyde has tried getting him to join him on his nightly endeavours but Jekyll has refused, living vicariously through him. Hyde begins to cause trouble, and after a particularly grizzly assault (non fatal) on an older man one night, Jekyll has finally had enough. He creates the formula to get rid of Hyde, his pent up rage over Hyde's misbehaviour has become too much to handle. His reputation is being destroyed, and he doesn't want to look like a quitter. Donning the alias 'Mister Seek' he tracks down Hyde, and kills him, taking his place as London's terror.

Been thinking about the whole Luigi and mr. L being separated into 2 people that I also have an au for (I wanna draw some stuff about it but have artblock 😔) so have a thing about my au

After mr. L moved in with Mario and Luigi, he changed his name (for some reason) to Lucifer (since it also starts with an L, and he wanted to be edgy). But everyone else was obviously like nobody's fucking calling you that, and they just shorten it to Luci.

So now he's stuck being called Luci, which he hates and corrects anyone who calls him that (even tho nobody will call him by his full name anyways)

but it’s where when mikey opens the portal during the move, bot h mikey’s, which causes younger Leo to end up with his older self (who is not dead), no have to figure out how to either end the war with two people, or send Leo back home.

I just thought of this, because we lays send future Leo back in time, why not send younger Leo into the future

But when they hold onto it, they suddenly have the full power of the radio demon, and not just that, it can also talk and transform into them like a symbiote.

Okay I have this weird AU idea where Leo was adopted by Douglas and raised as Marcus’ brother. Like Leo isn’t full out evil or anything, but he goes to school with Marcus as his brother. I have like the whole mapped out in my brain but never wrote the story out. I don’t know if I’ll ever turn it into a story either. So, enjoy the outline of the idea..

Adam, Bree, and Chase are still bionic and Douglas is still their bio-dad. Tasha still marries Donald, but she the one who finds the bionic trio and makes Donald put them in school and have a normal life.

Leo and Marcus attempt to befriend Adam, Bree, and Chase to capture them for Douglas and they do. The big thing in my mind would be how Leo and Marcus see the capturing of the trio. Marcus is full on capture them and bring them to dad. Leo is like “cool, I going to have three more siblings once I bring them to dad.” Leo is full on the kidnapping them until Leo finds out what Douglas really has planed for the trio.

After finding out, Leo decides to tell Donald Davenport everything. Donald doesn’t believe him until Leo shows Donald he knows where the lab is.

Donald doesn’t trust Leo for a little bit after this and tells Adam, Bree, and Chase to stay away from Leo and Marcus. Donald doesn’t tell them why though, so the trio disobeys.

Eventually Donald trust Leo after something big happens like Leo saves his life or something. Leo is allowed free access to the lab. Adam, Bree, and Chase find out Leo knows they are bionic and Leo becomes “unofficial” part of the team. He basically acts like a mission specialist like he does in the show.

Marcus and Douglas don’t know Leo is turncoat and think this all part of the act to get to the trio. Eventually, Douglas and Marcus make their move like in bionic showdown. Leo explains everything to the trio and Leo helps the trio save Donald. Marcus and Douglas find out Leo is helping the “enemy”. Douglas is mad and Marcus is confused. The whole mess ends with Leo moving in, Douglas getting away, and Marcus being destroyed. Leo is repairing Marcus in secret since he still sees Marcus as his brother. He is just worried Donald won’t approve.

I don’t know where’d I go from there and I don’t know if I’d actual turn this into a fic. I’m just putting this out there since I like the idea of Leo being Marcus sibling instead of Adam, Bree, and Chase’s and the idea of Leo being Douglas’ son instead of Donald. They are both just a fun ideas to me.

Anyways… do what they will with all of this.

Weird-ass AU idea (Sonic Frontiers final boss spoilers)

For some reason, The End wakes up within Sonic’s body. It cannot do anything but to speak with him, much like when he first stepped in the islands that started this mess.

Sonic decides that this shit is none of his business, and pretty much just rubs its defeat in its face a couple of times. He has also decided to live life to the fullest like he always does, with The End being unable to understand.

And since I’m a sap for enemies to friends scenarios…

The ancient heroes minus white Lily become the beasts and the Shadow milk gang have to not only be the parents for white Lily, but they also have to keep the beast ancient heroes at bay

Not really art, but just an au idea that's been swirling around in my head. The idea comes from the movie/musical The King and I. The au is of JTTW. The King would be Wukong and Anne would be Reader (since I'm thinking of this a reader insert story but I can have Bao shoved in instead lol).

It wouldn't completely follow the story, but key points would still be there like Reader becoming the teacher for Wukong's children (aka all the monkeys on FFM), Reader and Wukong would butt-heads over things because of their stubbornness, Marshal Ma, Marshal Liu, General Beng and General Ba would warn Reader of the ways of their king though it never swayed her from leaving, etc. Though unlike the ending in the movie/play, Wukong and Reader would end up together or at least slowly showing how much they actually like each other. Also Reader wouldn't threaten to leave the mountain, mostly because it's a rather difficult task, but she would threaten to go get lost (though ultimately wouldn't because of the cute little children).

To be completely honest, the song Shall I Tell You What I Think of You? is why I thought of this au idea. I felt like it would in a way fit (not exactly every line, but the whole "I'm free person to do what I please and I will not tolerate how you treat me" kind of vibe).

I'll probably keep swirling around this idea in my head. I do have some things thought out, but I should probably write them out (though I personally want to draw it, but idk... might draw some Bao and Wukong au art of this).

Actually, on a completely separate note. I was thinking about another au idea based on an au I've already seen done with Wukong. It's a Fake Marriage AU, but instead it's like "fake marriage" in quotes lol.

The whole idea is that Bao, still being on the younger side of the celestials in heaven, is kind of alone most of the time because others are usually busy with other things or she just finds them boring (or too much of a stick in the mud). Then, when Wukong is given a position in heaven by her father, Bao decides to become friends with the monkey. She'd be the one who ends up breaking the news to Wukong that his job and title are one of the lowest ones. Of course this doesn't initially go well for the Jade Emperor, but as in JTTW Wukong is given a fake title and eventually given a job over the peach orchards. This would lead to Bao visiting the orchards often because she enjoyed the time spent with Wukong before and considered him a friend. The two get along rather well and spend a lot of time together.

Until one day, Bao finds out her father is looking for a suitor for her to marry. This annoys and frightens her because she doesn't want to marry someone she doesn't know, so she goes to Wukong to ask him to marry her. Which, as anyone would assume, confuses the monkey, but she's quick to explain why. Since Wukong isn't a fan of the Jade Emperor but really enjoys Bao's company, he accepts the offer of being her "fake" husband only for things to go downhill from there.

The Jade Emperor is completely against it, as well as Bao's mother, but Bao won't back down. So after some fighting between parent and child, the Jade Emperor relents and allows the marriage. However, not long after, Wukong finds out (again from Bao, who learned upon it after marrying him) that his title is fake and goes on a rampage. Bao tries to calm Wukong but only gets ignored by him. Buddha arrives and Wukong gets trapped under a mountain (basically everything that happened happens). Bao, distraught at losing her friend and husband, leaves heaven and goes to Wukong's home, Flower Fruit Mountain, and informs his people of what happened and swears to protect them until the return of their king.

Bao doesn't see Wukong for centuries, having dedicated her time to his/their people and kingdom because she felt like she had to protect them until he returned. Until he does return after no longer being a disciple of Tang Sanzang. She's absolutely ecstatic to see him after all these years and is quick to give him a hug (doing her best not to cry). She has a banquet thrown in honor of his return and tells him all about what she's done to protect his home and asks about his journey (mostly if he's finished, since she's heard about it from Guanyin herself).

When she learns that he hasn't finished it, but instead has been banished by his master, Bao is ready to go have a chat with the monk, but Wukong stops her. Instead, he has her stay by his side as he praises her for being a wonderful queen while he was gone. This becomes sort of the first moment Bao realizes that she is truly in love with her "fake" husband (I say fake in quotes since they are actually married, but they never really treat it as a fake marriage). She's also the one that ends up convincing him to go back to the monk Tang Sanzang and complete his journey after Bajie appears to ask him to come back. Wukong doesn't want to leave again, not now that he knows that she's safe and has been acting as queen while he's been gone, but she promises him that she'll still be there when he comes back.
