A fun little detail ive noticed in epic the musical (though I could be wrong) is that for arc 1 .most of the songs focus on the line "just a man" which referse to Odysseus, but in arc 2 the songs change to use "monster" more often, the only other time "just a man" was used in arc 2 was when eurylochus reverse to himself as that in mutiny
I don't know if this is really accurate because I haven't really fact cheeked it. But I think it is, also I don't know if anyone else has done this I just want to say that this was a cool detail

I don’t think Twig grows up to be as big of a deerfox as his parents because it would honestly be pretty inconvenient. One thing about Twig is he CANNOT be too big to sleep in Hilda’s bed, I simply will not allow it.

One of my favourite things about Once Upon a Witchlight is that half the party are just not good people. I’m sorry but Kremy is just a fucking bitch. I love him tho. Gideon has anger issues and would kill a man for Kremy. Mostly I just love morally grey characters especially because as a party they keep ending up doing good as a whole.
It’s also easy to forget that the origins of their adventure were selfishly motivated because they were in debt.
Also out of all of them the most morally inclined is a depressed wet cat and morning “I have trained my mind in order for me to choose the most logical option in any situation” Frost.
I also do think they’re developing better morals and are unintentionally bettering themselves as people.
Mostly I just love that Frost and Gricko will be like we have to help these people and Kremy will be like do we thooo. And then they do.

Frost: My crush isn’t picking up on my hints.
Twig: What hints have you given them?
Frost: Well, I think about him a lot.
Frost: And sometimes I even think about talking to him.

🔥Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind?
So, not strictly an opinion I hold so much as I'm going to take this one as an opportunity to bang out a post I've been mulling over regarding a particular third rail in Morrowind's worldbuilding-
It's reasonably visible at a glance that the Elder Scrolls cosmology from Morrowind onward is ripping components and aesthetics from all sorts of mythologies- Hinduism, Buddhism, Jewish Mysticism, Gnosticism, probably some others I don't have the grounding to recognize. Kirkbride's comparative religion degree was clearly doing a lot of heavy lifting here. But periodically people rediscover the fact that the setting also rips off Mormonism- including the really racist parts of Mormonism. My understanding is that the origin of the Dunmer has parallels to the 1800s Mormon party line on where Black people came from and why they're all denied salvation.
People take umbrage with this for very understandable reasons- It wouldn't be the first worldbuilding decision made in Kirkbride's orbit with shock-value associations with real-life historical atrocities. He's kind of a troll. But part of what I think is going on here, and part of why I find this whole situation so interesting, is that out of all the mythologies tapped, Mormonism's recency, it's transparent status as a scam and a cult, means that the social engineering aspects are much more legible to us. We aren't too far removed from the odious social violence that those bits of the theology were attempting to justify and reinforce, and so the reference reads like a shot in an active conflict. By contrast we're distant from the original contexts of things like Olympian pantheon, Buddhism, Hinduism. We're distant from whatever inequities those theologies were attempting to launder or justify. In the ones that endured to the present a lot of the audience is going to be insulated from the social harms these religions enact where they've got local hegemony- and so treating them as a buffet for worldbuilding elements doesn't raise the same hackles, even if, everything weighed equally, it maybe should. The theological equivalent of depleted nuclear fuel, safe to bring home and toss around with your kids. There're some great sci-fi hooks floating around in those things! Too good to pass up.
All this to say that I understand the logic driving the particularism here. I just think it's useful to remember that there is a particularism in how we react to these things. Anyway RPG based on the cosmology of Scientology being literally true when

My daughter’s new pet is half deer, half fox. They tumble over each other, racing through the valley, their rhythm imperfect, she is human after all. Half human, half something I can’t quite recall,
I don’t know him      well, his fur is soft and smooth. Little antlers,  tiny twigs on his brow. Hoofs like       black pinpricks, needles     through fabric. At night he howls at nothing, he doesn’t quite know why.
His fur is soft and smooth     , morning snow, untrampled, unbothered. Black spots     speckled by the bane of his tail,     an old scar from something he can’t quite recall.
I don’t know him very well. He runs an endless trail past the river with my daughter, in two step tandem, they’ve learned to act as one. Half human, half deerfox, half nothing      at all.
He looks at me, sometimes, with ink black     misty eyes. He licks my hand, leans his head on my palm, as if the weight of the world is held by the little twigs on his brow.
I am so far away from home, he says. I will never see my mother again. She is so far away, I am here. I am all that there is,        , anywhere, of me.
You understand me, he says. We’re the same,     brothers. Half deer, half fox. Half human, half something you can’t quite recall.
We walk in two step tandem, Two parallel lines that touch without knowing. We have     never met. We have known each other our whole lives.
We’re the same, like brothers, he says. You understand    , he says, and I don’t know why but         I do.
I can’t                        recall. The ' something     I’m  missing. The bridge between me, and all that there is.
I am all I can’t recall. I am the tear      left unstitched. Half human, half nothing, nothing          at all.
