I need ya’ll to realize running back to TikTok like nothing fucking happened is exactly what this motherfucker wants. He wants you to run back and to be grateful. He wants you to forget that the Supreme Court has just passed something that indicates they can pursue intense censorship and remove our access to free speech and non-propagandized/monitored spaces whenever they want. He wants you to be so focused on all this that you completely forget that he’s about to pass at least a hundred horrific policies stripping us of our rights as soon as this week. He wants you to stop talking about Palestine who is still in danger and is in desperate need of aid despite the ceasefire. He wants you to turn your attention away from all the people in LA suffering thanks to the fires.

I don’t want to say it’s just an app, because it’s not. I was incredibly sad about losing TikTok yesterday. Many of us had a community that meant a great deal to us torn away suddenly and I am not saying we shouldn’t be upset about that. But I am saying that as much as the Supreme Court has more important things they should be focusing on over banning TikTok we have more important things to do then run back to an app that was obviously used for a publicity stunt by Trump and will inevitably be influenced by him and his fascism.

We’ve been discussing boycotting Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and other Meta platforms due to their connections to Trump and his posse of billionaires. TikTok must be treated the same way so long as the CEO and company is in Trump’s pocket.

Made it to 30 Years Old! :O

When I was younger, I would hear adults say that 30 was "getting up there in age". I'm really glad that the predisposition about age in general has died down. Especially when it came to women's worth after a certain age. Fortunately for society, I didn't want to grow up in the first place!

At 30 years old, I am a dork, geek, and a nerd. An anime/cartoon watcher, book reader, and honorary Power Ranger. I spent my 20s fretting over if I was "doing life right". I've been a data analyst for 5 years now, and though I'm grateful for the job, it's just a job to make some money. I feel that I haven't really been doing what I want to do, like being the creative that I once was as a child. I am changing that in my 30s!

My first step is this photo edit of my simself. I've been playing with my sim dollies for about 20 years in total now, since The Sims's Bustin' Out on PS2. I came over to TS2 on PC in 2010 and TS4 in 2016. I completely skipped TS3 because the sims didn't look that good. :/ But seeing all the creativity and storytelling in the sims community has really inspired me to try my hand at it.

So here is my simself in her apartment in San Myshuno (I would never live in the city irl, it's too busy!). Also, this is my first time editing a photo and I think I did pretty decent, honestly! I think the hardest part was figuring out what I wanted it to look like in the end. The rest was fine once I got the hang of it, cuz the tutorials are out there, okay??

The first order of business in my 30s is to create a simblr, because I need to put these AUs to use that have been sitting in My Documents for years. :S I also write in the background, but have only finished one story in my life. lol So within this year, my simblr will be up! (And perhaps finishing another story)

So anyway, I wanted to post my bday project to sow a seed, I think. This simself edit will push me into an era of creativity and storytelling that I've been missing.

In my 30s, I will choose to be happy. :)
